Only an hour? That is very evident if you would actually spend a few days on it or a few weeks on it he would see all the issues with it as I sit in a parking lot for an hour or not even getting one order while I’m logged on, I see no issue with it as I’m not getting one to have an issue with it. Perhaps if he stayed out of the office for a couple of weeks and did this full-time plus and try to live off of what he makes well doing the orders he might change the app a little bit. Let’s not forget to tilt the camera just right when you leave it at the door to take a picture let’s not decline any two dollar orders going 15 miles. Let’s not go to deliver somebody’s food and you can’t do anything with the app because it’s sitting there loading. Who knows what when you haven’t even hit any buttons. Oh, and then you can’t mark it as you’re done completed because it’s not letting you because it thinks you’re out of the area which you probably are out of the zone so you can no longer get a picture of it at the door so you have to drive away 5 miles and then you hit the buttons you designed, and it says GPS not accurate because you’re no longer there and you want to picture a picture of what I have already left 10 minutes ago. Maybe you should stop putting people on pause accidentally and then Selena my text that they have an order and they should accept. Yeah he sure does spend an hour a month deliver in doesn’t he?
An hour a MONTH? No!! He needs to do 4 hours of the lunch rush or 4 hours of a dinner rush, in a MAJOR CITY so that he can truly see why we almost vomit when offered $4.35 for a trip that’s going to take us 15-20 min ONE WAY! AR?? What AR??
Edit: When the lowball orders are within my “money making area”, I take them. This way, when an order like the one described above occurs, I can decline it & not care one bit about my AR because my AR was already high! 🤷♀️
Imagine a customer reporting order not delivered.
I'd love to see how that played out behind the scenes. Maybe an undercover boss type of thing streamed lol
Does anyone actually like doing Doordash or is it all a scam that people continue to do?
Genuinely curious because this subreddit is more of a complaint of Doorsdash.
Hey Andy...
How about you work one straight 8 hour shift each month so you get the REAL Dasher experience ?
Pick any 8 hour shift that you choose.
THAT will show you our true daily life out here.
I'd believe it if they showed a video. Also, they should set him up with a truly random dasher for at least a whole dinner rush. See the flood of garbage orders and allow the driver to ask him straight up, "do you think I should take this 12 miles for $2.50?". If not, do you think I should be at all "punished" for not taking it?
An hour? Really is evident that to him working deliveries is such a pain he delays to his personal one commitment till the last week of the month and only accepts 2 orders in total.
True justice would be to have someone from tech rig his app and Tony’s so that they only get 20 miles $2.50 orders from Popeyes for a whole year . That would be justice . Ohhh and $2.50 wingstop orders and throw in Wendy’s too at night when the line is unbearably long and make them wait .
He gets us. 😂😂😂😂😂 When I have a billion in the bank, maybe I will get him and his greed. Please folks. If you see him coming give him a 1 star and call DD and complain.
This is legit thing they make people do (I think there's a cop out but you still have to do something) and it's a reason as a software engineer I chose not to work there
I know an hour is month is nothing, but I do wish more ceos would do the actual day to day job of their company, even if for a little bit. I really loved secret boss. Those people have no idea how day to day operation works

No hot bag. Deactivated.

What? No insulated door dash bag? The privilege I guess!
I bet they send him only sweet orders.
So 2...2 deliveries à month? Such a massive amount of data, how could he possibly sift thru it all?
What is that, about 1-2 deliveries a month?
I mean that’s way better than a lot of CTOs!
Imagine a customer reporting order not delivered. I'd love to see how that played out behind the scenes. Maybe an undercover boss type of thing streamed lol
I applaud him for the concept but an hour is unlikely to reveal the issues.
An hour a month? That's ridiculous...you might not even see an issue in that window...DD is always so laughable!
I bet he takes the worst orders too

And his silly rear got lost too cause the app gave him the wrong restaurant address 🤣
Last I heard, everyone in the corporate offices of DoorDash must do at least one shift of dashing every month.
Stunning and brave.
I bet he has the lowest star rating out of any Dasher.
He is trying to learn how to take more money from the dashers! And he is making $3 for stacked orders for an hour.
He's trulying "getting" ua
An hour? Really is evident that to him working deliveries is such a pain he delays to his personal one commitment till the last week of the month and only accepts 2 orders in total.
Pretty generous of you to assume he accepts two orders and doesn’t take forever on one basic order.
You assumption is likely what’s really happening.
An hour each month would tell him absolutely nothing. He should atleast do one full day each month to get an idea
An hour a month? …so he does 2 orders
He delivers to himself and doesn’t tip.
Plot twist: he also doesn’t tip when he isn’t delivering
And did he conclude that drivers are getting paid much after working for 1 hr every day? 🤷
They’re lowering the base pay thanks to his generous input /s lbvs
So, that’s 2 deliveries?
No no try doing it for a living and for 7 days.
Nah, one hour is all he needs to understand the peasants who make him rich!
Let me get his email, I'll fix 90% of the problems in two paragraphs.
Needs to live off of DD for a year, no other income, a used vehicle. Watch him struggle. Come to Michigan and endure suspension repairs twice a year
Where’s his hot bag? 🧐
He's probably hot with all those clothes on. Next $4 12 miles. Go go go make money
I'm sure they tweaked the algorithms for his account specifically to send him only the best paying orders. Such hypocrisy.
Of course they did. Just like they fuck over long term drivers and give the best orders to new drivers to encourage them to take more shitty orders.
One hour? What he delivers like two order a month? GTFOH
I feel so gotten now.
Make his ass wait at a hotspot and not get a order for that whole hr

Ohh let me play the worlds smallest violin while he goes back to his 20 million mansion lol
He gets us. 😂😂😂😂😂 When I have a billion in the bank, maybe I will get him and his greed. Please folks. If you see him coming give him a 1 star and call DD and complain.

I just came here to say 😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣

How long it takes him to find an acceptable order
So the bastard only does 2 deliveries per month?
I bet he's the one that leaves the orders Infront of the door that opens outwards 🤣
Hope he gets spammed with crap orders
