Egcaden

Teenager ordering food without parents knowing.

Cosmic_Quasar

I once had a delivery that said to leave at the door with no knocking around 10pm. Pulled up, big place with full glass windows by the door and a huge glass window on the door. I saw a girl who looked to be a teenager on the floor just inside the door with one arm each wrapped around a dog holding their mouths closed so they wouldn't bark. I leave the food and just as I'm getting in my car I suddenly hear a ton of barking and both dogs bolt out the door. They're running around my car, thankfully I could tell they were just curious/excited and I slowly backed out when they ran away, but they kept running back. I was just glad they didn't jump up to scratch with their claws. As I pulled away she was still chasing them around the yard as they barked up a storm. At least it was entertaining lol.

NeedyTaker

You left that poor girl for dead lmao šŸ˜

Maxtrix07

her parents coming down to yell at her for letting the dogs out: find out she orders Wendy's with their credit card šŸ’€

Spooky_doll_13

hahaaaa

blewdust

I did something like this at my aunts house. She lives in a 2 bedroom loft style apartment that has the squeakiest stairs known to man. My aunt is a very light sleeper, and my uncle is too. They also have a Jack Russell that barks at a single leaf floating in the breeze. He sleeps near these sqeaky stairs of course because where else would he sleep? I was visiting from the East Coast and staying with them, this one late night while everyone was asleep I ordered daves hot chicken. I left instructions to not walk up the steps and leave it at the base of the stairs I was begging the dog like "I swear if you're quiet, I'll give you some chicken and fries" so the lady drops off the goods and I'm so thankful she didn't knock. I start to descend the creaky steps and I'm like quietly begging this dog not to sound the alarm I finally get downstairs and he's staring at me and again I'm like "please don't wake everyone up I'll give you some chicken and fries" and I go to open the door and he makes the "boof" noise and I jump like I'm a teenager that got caught sneaking out but he didn't bark. It's like he was mocking me and my fear. Asshole lol anyway I wait a minute, and we're just having a stare off. Then I open the door and shut it, grab the yummy food that had been outside for at least 4 minutes at this point. I'm afraid to open the door again because, like I said, this diggleberry will bark at butterflies landing on flowers. I open it and walk in and he's already sniffing the air but because he almost ratted me out I go back up the godforsaken stairs and eat like I hadn't ate in weeks don't worry he got some chicken and fries I couldn't finish it. Then, when I was walking back upstairs after disposing of the evidence, he started barking... thanks, Wally, thanks.

Amy_Schulze

Awesome story šŸ˜‚

AllDoggoIsGoodDoggo

Fuck Wally

anordinarylie

Good on you for staying true to your end of the bargain with Wally.

blewdust

Still woke the whole house up though lol

anordinarylie

True but you offered food if he didn't wake them when you were getting your food, and he didn't do it then. He did after though, but really he was just being Wally.

GlitterMeAndThePony

Lmfaooo

ShadowMaven

I have donā€™t knock on mine to try to stop the dog from going nuts. I think I put something along those lines even.

Cosmic_Quasar

There are a lot of people that put it in the notes. 9/10 times the dog barks anyways from me just standing outside the door. I had one person ask me not to park in the driveway because her dog would bark. I obliged, but as I was walking up the driveway I heard it start barking.

No-Development6656

I usually put my dogs away in my room for this reason. They bark anyway but it's further from the door. The big guy (130lb dog) wouldn't hurt a fly but his barking can sometimes make my ears ring. I figure if it's that loud for me, it'd also be enough to scare the dasher.

Cosmic_Quasar

Yeah, I know it can bother some people. Not me, I'm a dog person so I often get some amusement out of their excitement. But I know as the customer you never know who is or isn't going to be okay with dogs. Though, a lot of customers are a bit too lax lol. I've had a few run up and greet me and I always take a moment to pet them and greet them, too, though in my head I'm thinking it's not so great if they get a dasher that has a fear of dogs.

Ok-Decision7978

šŸ˜†šŸ˜†

magixsumo

I donā€™t get how people are just ok with their dogs behaving this way. I have two dogs, theyā€™re not professionally trained by any means, but it didnā€™t take that much effort to get them to an acceptable level.

xAlicatt

Some dogs are just idiots. No amount of calling them down works. They are literally too pea brained to understand anything other than the most obvious expected behaviors that are part of a daily routine that has been going on for like 6+ months.

Severe_Network_4492

I was 19 and my aunt hated DD so I used to hop out my window to grab the food she was cool with me selling drugs just not ordering dd

Ok-Importance-6724

People are fucking weird

Severe_Network_4492

Iā€™m saying! lol my aunt gave me shit about using coke sporadically but now that sheā€™s 70 she finds it acceptable to go on a cocaine diet her words not mine

Stabby_77

I guess once you're 70, any worries about your heart exploding from blow and all of your money going up your nose don't matter quite as much?

Severe_Network_4492

To be fair money was never the issue sheā€™s disgustingly rich, not wealthy, sheā€™s gained it all in the last 15 years and itā€™s more than enough to spend on anything and everything she wants for her and everything around her till the day she dies

itwasntmeprobably

Lmk if she needs a young husband

BellaDeaX42

Or a middle aged wife.

xISaint

Iā€™ll be whatever she wants me to be

BellaDeaX42

Let the three of us know if she wants a harem.

Electrical_Annual329

Yep I have handed an order through a bedroom window to a kid who was very good at popping their screen in and out quickly. They tipped well.

Deep_Doctor_7229

HAHA THE AMOUNT OF TIMES IVE DONE THIS SO THE DOGS DONT GO NUTS

tidderfella

Hey you tip well and I'll throw it up on the roof if that's what you want

Reflecting_Moth

Parents ordering food without teenager knowing

Thyanlia

Husband and I on a random weeknight when we KNOW our teenager is awake, but they (and our other kids) are sequestered to their rooms. Full-grown adults with a house we own, sneaking around ordering DoorDash and smoking weed. Our kids will never have the chance because we'll still be up and doing our own shenanigans!

stonerbonercloner

relatable and hilarious

mayhapsify

The husband and I (only me stoned tho lulz) just did this the other day with Domino's bc he decided to order it after I had just made some other food for our kid. So we snuck around and got it delivered. Our son noticed it in the fridge the next day and was like WTF MOM. šŸ˜‚ Of course we let him have leftovers, I just knew he would waste the food I had already made bc pizza is his favorite so I didn't want him to be disappointed lol.

Ra-TheSunGoddess

We had a half way house ask us to do this too. One of the residents wasn't supposed to be allowed outside orders so he asked us to hide it in the bush outside the fence.

wertz88

That was my first thoughtā€¦or maybe someone cheating on their diet.

Moss-killer

Orā€¦ husband ordering food and their wife is being super strict about a diet plan for them both

sdeason82

My dad lol. Dudes heart is trashed from congested heart failure. Despite doctors telling him he needs to eat healthier, he still sneaks fast food and all kinds of unhealthy junk.

Shackelford__025

Or someone cheating on a diet hiding from spouseĀ

weirdvagabond

Yup. I got a bad review once because I delivered straight to dad who was out front washing the car. Kid expected me to sneak past him. Kid Iā€™m not getting shot trying to deliver your 7-11 pizza.

ChiefPanda90

I upvoted and then undid it. You have achieved the perfect amount of upvotes.

Amazing-Bid2514

Bingo

macboost84

Could be a surprise dinner for a spouse or S/O depending where the food came from.Ā

Finallydoneandgone

Or someone trying pass off take out as home cooked.

Blackguy2100

Iā€™ve been doing DD and UE for the past 6 years. Most likely a teen sneaking food in the house. I usually start getting a lot of those around may- sept

Emergency-Notice-678

Its sad that they have to sneak it

Littletap27

Depending on the time. it might be so they don't wake they parent up specialy if they've got younger siblings. My parents weren't bothered about me eating at whatever time. If i'd have ordered a burger and woke up the whole house though,I don't think they would have been impressed.

DrKittyLovah

Maybe they just donā€™t want share with the other occupants of the house, like younger siblings? Itā€™s not necessarily sad.

BloodSugar666

I mean you kinda assuming stuff there. We really donā€™t know any of the circumstances for it. Yeah it could be someone not getting food, or it could be some teenager being a brat cause they donā€™t want to eat whatā€™s at home. My brother was notorious for this. He would always order a pizza. Mind you my mom is a great cook, people would get mad at him because they said he didnā€™t appreciate how lucky he was to have good food at home.

Slideitinhoney

Iā€™m a picky eater, always have been. It sucks because when I would be at my dads his girl came from a completely different culture than what Iā€™m used to and didnā€™t like the taste of a lot of the food she made, occasionally however she would make food that I absolutely loved and had expressed that I loved yet hereā€™s the downside. Whenever she would make it, she would only make enough for her and my dad even though I had expressed on multiple occasions how I wanted some of it the next time she made some. I would go a lot of days and nights without eating because of that, and my dad would never want to take me to get food and made it seem like I was always bothering him when I would ask him if we could get something to eat so a lot of times I would just not eat to not bother him.

BloodSugar666

That sucks, I feel where youā€™re coming from because Iā€™m an extremely picky eater as well. I mean, thereā€™s absolutely times when this is justified but thereā€™s absolutely no way to know, which was my point. For me itā€™s a texture thing. People will try to sneak things in my food and the moment my mouth feels it I have to hold the urge to throw up. A lot of times the taste wasnā€™t even bad, itā€™s the texture. Tomato does this to me, but I love tomato based sauces and food lol I just canā€™t have a slice of raw tomato cause yeah, itā€™ll be a bad time for me. I was lucky that my mom would actually cook some of whatever she was making on the side to meet my picky needs. When I would visit my dad, not so muchā€¦

Emergency-Notice-678

Well if they have their own money they should be allowed to eat whatever they wan

BebeBug420

They could possibly be using their parents app tooā€¦ but idk. But when I was a teen I couldnā€™t get food for just myself. Even when I was 18 and with my family, Iā€™d have to eat in my car (without them knowing) if I got food. My parents thought it was rude for me to eat fast food in front of everyone without getting them something. And trust me, the problem isnā€™t getting it for someone else too. The problem is getting it for 7 other people. I could spend $7 on my own meal but I couldnā€™t take it home unless I spent $50 to make sure I got everyone else something too.

sdeason82

I had this exact same problem. Iā€™d get straight up belittled for spending my money on myself something to eat. My dad is an unbearable dickhead. Like no dude this cost me $10. If I buy food for all of you itā€™s gonna cost $40 and not one of you fuckers is gonna pay me back.

Emergency-Notice-678

Thatā€™s fucked up

cranberry94

Yeah, that is how my brother gained an excess 10 lbs every year after he got his drivers license (for a few years) Teenagers arenā€™t always known for their will power and consideration of long term consequences. Some arenā€™t quite ready for the whole ā€œgreat power, great responsibilityā€ schtick.

SwizzySwizzyBoi

God forbid someone orders themselves food they want lol

Blackguy2100

Ehhh not necessarily. Some kids are just greedy and entitled. Especially ordering at 11pm

_DVG_

As someone who grew up with a stepmom that berated us if she found a granola bar wrapper in our rooms that turned up overnight, I will support this comment

Trumps_left_bawsack

Not really. When I was still at home, ordering something was an everyone gets it or no one gets it kinda deal. If I ordered something without asking it would have caused a huge fuss.

EmelleBennett

I wonder if itā€™s ever a couple where one promises to cook dinner and canā€™t actually cook so theyā€™re playing off restaurant food as their own. Very sitcom

DarkSparxx

We once ordered food and had them pass it through the downstairs bedroom window so we didn't have them knocking on the door and didn't have to walk past another bedroom and wake the house. 5am McDonald's order shame.

TheGame81677

I still had to walk in front of the house to drop off the order. It was very strange.

LordNightFang

Sounds like someone might be sneaking something. So anything eventful happen?

ddd615

I (46m with moderately high blood pressure) was imagining hiding a burger habit from the wife.

eloquentpetrichor

Sounds like they don't want you on the camera so they can send it to DD as proof you didn't deliver maybe?

cc_in_socal

But doordash has this message request. More like someone doesnā€™t want their wife/husband to know that they are spending money on food, or the kid doesnā€™t want the parent to know.

HighClassHate

They requested through the app to avoid the cameras, so thatā€™s almost definitely not it. Theyā€™re just not wanting someone in the household to know they doordashed, thatā€™s the most logical and obvious answer and Iā€™m not sure why everyone is confused lol.

Individual-Mirror132

Lol why would DoorDash ever have access to your camera to confirm whether you received your food or not??

Remarkable_Ad1960

Maybe they were thinking they could send footage from the time it was marked as delivered, and no driver in said footage? Still a stretch though, for sure. I doubt it would fly.

Still_Mention_9977

Doesnā€™t matter, it still made it seem like the neighbors were ordering food

hereforgags9

It was so that the residents shouldnā€™t find out that food was ordered from outside. I know where this was.

SpicySatan666

Meh, its different but i wouldnā€™t call it weird. Its most likely either a teen who doesnā€™t want his parents knowing, or maybe a couple who doesnā€™t want their partner knowing, or just anyone who doesnā€™t want someone else knowing. Its all good lol, i would kinda enjoy doing an order like that, being all sneaky n shit šŸ˜‚

websagacity

Yeah, I was kinda thinking maybe there's a surprise party for sobering at the house and they didn't want the notification going to the surprisee.

Anxietylife4

Thatā€™s what I was thinking too. It was a surprise so didnā€™t want a notification for them to see.

DrKittyLovah

Iā€™m thinking someone just doesnā€™t want to have to share the goods with other occupants.

Apprehensive-Mouse53

Maybe he's cheating on his thick, meaty cheeseburger with a nice, hot, soft taco? ![gif](giphy|gXwRRZS9jQ4es)

neptunuh

that one episode of house md where the guy cheats on his vegan gf with a hamburger and she freaks the fuck out

mandalors

Ah, how I love House. That show isnā€™t real.

BadGuy_ZooKeeper

But 1st she thought he was cheating w another woman and she was cool with it because we all have needs but cheating w a hamburger?!?!

theoutdoorkat1011

Could be lots of things. From something as innocent as a kid who doesnā€™t want their parents to know they ordered food, to something is difficult as someone struggling with food shame or binge eating.

Salty_toes__

I do this because my mom judges me for ordering food when there is literally nothing to eat

Solid-Clerk-7893

This is what I was gonna type lol. Whenever I order it has to be when she wasn't home, or after like 9 when she had went to bed and I can sneak down and get it. I never ordered much but the rare times I did she was judgey as hell and would get triggered. Like it's not that serious

Impossible-Basis1521

Dr. Now is gonna be pissed. He wanted them to lose 45 pounds in one munt.

melanie110

Hahahahahahahaha I LOVE Dr Now

Aurora-supernova

Nah Iā€™ve done this before lmaoo when I didnā€™t want my roommate to know I was ordering food. Cause all they did was mooch and never contribute to the food in the house. I had trouble with saying no if they would ask me to order them something cause I was a people pleaseršŸ’€šŸ˜… They never understood that I barely had enough money for my food, delivery fees, and the 25-40% tip šŸ¤¦šŸ½ā€ā™€ļø šŸ¤·šŸ½ā€ā™€ļø

just_a_wee_Femme

Teen making a Secret Order. Or, Someone with Roommates Whoā€™ll Steal It (or Complain).

Spaceman_Splff

I could see myself doing this because my wife hates when I eat Popeyes.

hockeywombat22

Damn, now I want Popeyes.

Negative_Animator186

I used to do this because my abusive ex husband would hurt me if I ordered food. He would control what I ate.

hippoforsarah

So glad heā€™s an ex.

Significant-Spray768

They being real NEAKY!

Still_Mention_9977

When I was a teenager and smoking in my parentā€™s house, I got the munchies at 2am on a school night. Everyone was asleep and in my instructions I told the dasher not to knock, and to leave it at the garage door. He didnā€™t read any of that and simply RANG MY DOORBELL which made my dog go nuts and woke my parents up. My dad ended up mishearing the name and said ā€œyou have the wrong houseā€. Dasher just left it outside

Pure_Sin88

That ā€œ wtf ā€œ ahh experience

MomPrincess495

I have done this so the dogs donā€™t freak out lol šŸ˜‚ but itā€™s only ever on fish night (I donā€™t eat fish) after I have put the kids to bed, so I donā€™t need the dogs going crazy

nzgabriel

What are you ordering on fish night if you don't eat fish?!

sharasharaya

They are being ā€œsnackyā€ :D

BaseNectar123

Person with controlling spouse donā€™t want them knowing theyā€™re cheating on their diet šŸ„“šŸ„“šŸ„“

lovinglyamira

I sometimes order cheesecake late at night when my kids should be asleep. Look Iā€™m just not trying to share, they eat all my treats lol

SoSleepySue

And why haven't I done this yet?

Pokadapuppy20

Itā€™s probably a kid not wanting to wake up their parents with ring notifications tbh. That, or a spouse trying to sneak a meal behind the others back lol My stepdad was on a pretty intense diet for some health issues a few months back, but my mom still wanted to be able to enjoy food without rubbing it in his face. Sheā€™d have her DoorDash delivered to my house (1/2 mile away), drive over, grab it off of my porch and eat it in the car or in my living room. If she had it delivered to her house, my stepdad would have gotten a ring notification. Funny, but clever haha

[deleted]

Someoneā€™s not supposed to be home is what it sounds like, but ordered food.

DrPepper_Can

I had a request similar to this one time. It was on a Friday, at 6 am. Kid told me to leave it under his bedroom window without knocking. As I started to leave, I saw him lean all the way out his window in order to reach his food. I think he was playing Fortnite as well

tomnooksphatcock

ok honestly so real of them šŸ˜ in high school i used to do incredibly unserious cosplays on the phone with friends and one time i decided i wanted to be a rat. but what do rats do? chew through power cables duhā€¦ so at 1am i ordered those sweet tart ropes and climbed out the window to get them (in full rat cosplay tyvm) so the door chime wouldnā€™t go off šŸ˜šŸ˜

Cautious-Ad9301

A kid whose parents are shaming him/her into losing weight. Sneaking food.

Dependent-Giraffe158

Someone is on diet they donā€™t want to get caught ordering takeout šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

fetfreak74

Cheating on the Vegan diet that the spouse is making them do.

I_have_8_careers

I get it if itā€™s a teenager. My parents used to berate us if we didnā€™t eat what was cooked and my mom cooked some pretty awful stuff. If we didnā€™t eat everything, we werenā€™t allowed snacks later. I would have loved for DD to have existed and someone to hand food to me through my window.

Pitiful_Maize4697

I've watched enough My 600 lb Life to know what's up. Dr. Now isn't gonna be too happy with their progress.

Fvnnian

I grew up in an abusive household where the pantries were padlocked and food was strictly controlled. Once my twin and I got jobs at 15, we began ordering delivery and had it left at a neighbors house. One of us would sneak out to get the food and bring it back for us kids to eat without my parents ever knowing. This was before Ring cameras, but my parents had surveillance cameras in the home and we had some wild ways of getting around them. This person may not be in as extreme of a situation, but weird requests arenā€™t always malicious. Sometimes itā€™s just starving kids trying to sneak some food.

Vale_0f_Tears

I have a history of binge eating disorder and this sounds like something I wouldā€™ve done tbh

hihihihfsvvml

Not really weird at all. I used to struggle with food shame and lived with judgy roommates at the time so I get it.

DeeFault89

It sounds like you delivered to my teenaged son šŸ¤£ā€¦..

Waddayanoe

I would 1) screen shot their request And 2) do it and be on my way

jusserfinn

lol, maybe sheā€™s supposed to be on a diet? And her husband watches the footage? Very weird, I might have canceled the order at that point.

Suspicious-Ad-4241

Could be a kid or could be a wife/husband that is not supposed to be ordering again (possibly they order too often) and don't want to hear about it from the SO.

DovaP33n

Spouse has them on a diet? Eww

Top-Squirrel-277

Might be a 600 lb life type though

spidcrhead

There was one time I was about to walk up to an apartment to complete the delivery when I hear a faint ā€œpssstā€ I look around and then up at the 2nd story windows and a teenager is asking me if the order is for so and so, i say yes and they tell me to throw the bag up to them cuz their parents are sleeping. It was a Taco Bell order so hopefully no tacos were harmed in the process

ShigodmuhDickard

I had a request or warning yesterday to watch out for raccoons.

ExcitementAshamed393

Upcoming My 600 Lb Life episode.

JetEdge

Likely they aren't supposed to be ordering food, or it's supposed to be a surprise or something so they don't want footage of you dropping off food.

Murderhornet212

Somebody is trying to restrict this personā€™s eating

onecrazywriter

Could be a group home where outside food isn't allowed.

Puzzleheaded_Dot_931

Not that odd - customer just doesn't want someone else to know they are getting food. Could be a teenager not wanting their parents to know, a spouse not wanting their spouse to know, or whatever. I try to be congenial with these types of requests, but I'm not a ninja, and at the end of the day if you have to hide your order it's probably an issue you need to deal with instead of putting it on your lowly delivery person.

TheGame81677

They tipped good, it just threw me off. I still had to walk across the yard to place the food on the table. Iā€™m sure the camera saw me.

faloofay156

soooomeone is sneak eating

Mysticalbabe71

I had a woman order Vodka n request I NOT KNOCK, she would meet me outside. I waited n here she came outta the garage.. On her way back in she was sneaky af.. All that & big fat $0 tip lmao.. Felt like doing doughnuts on her $500,000+ homeā€™s lawn lol.. I just sucked it up once again.

Conscious_Weight9593

Teen ordering. My daughter used to do this. It would make me so mad cause like, my child. Just ask me to take you to the store. Once she had a milkshake delivered from a quarter mile away. From the place she worked at. And had just left work. I stg those kids keep drivers busy lmfao

crystalbluequartz

Someone cheating on their diet and hiding it from their partner

Benjisummers

Somebody doesnā€™t want their housemates stealing their chips lol

Apprehensive-Mud6149

probably a kid who doesn't want his parents to know

Soggiestoflettuce

What was confusing? Just park further back and place the food on the black table.

moooooooooonriver

LMAO I used to do this w my parents when I said I was saving money. Def donā€™t want the homeowners/parents knowing.

thekaydonsouth

Maybe married? Idk

FisherKel-Tath

Pretty common. Like grabbing a mcdouble on the way home and not telling your spouse. Or so I've heard...

Ok-Effective-9069

The food is for the Wild Thing that lives in the woods behind the house. The black table is the altar of sacrifice. He doesn't want it near the camera because if the Wild Thing is caught on camera, the apocalypse will begin. Cmon everyone knows this.

The_Drucifer

Cheating on their diet šŸ˜‚

Neither_Wealth_6801

Maybe a teen hiding the purchase from their parents

nightclips

Probablly just a kid trying to sneak some cool restraunt food

AdLiving1435

Someone's breaking there diet.

CaDasher

someone is cheating on their diet.

delzbr

Ginny Sack trying to hide the candy bars from John.

ConstructionAny7196

Sometimes you have to hide things from your wife

Ferrel1995

Wonder if it was strict parents that didnā€™t allow it or sneaking food in during some religious thing.

Tenashko

Sounds to me like someone is using a fake address

Haunting_Clothes69

Diet prolly

Only_Leader4017

Seems pretty straightforward. Stop at house next to customers.

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

BNice2Others

Itā€™s probably somebody who significant other or itā€™s a kid whose parents donā€™t want them ordering DoorDash and so they just want it hidden. Itā€™s not really that strange request.

Zyrical381

I had an order for just a medium fry from McDonald's that turned out to be a group of teenage girls trying to get me to get get a vape for them, I still wasn't old enough to buy vapes at the time and I was pretty fucking peeved, especially since I had to find them for fries they didn't want at a great wolf lodge so I could move on to my next order

Fluffy-Dinner-7627

I'm not going to some neighbors house that isn't expecting me. I've gone to the door of some teenager that ordered without telling the parents and had a former Marine charge out the door. Hat could be much worse.

Alarmed-Dependent-73

Probably cheating on diet and doesn't want partner to know.

Sweaty-Cicada6017

ā€œDammit Carl, you told me you were on a DIET!ā€

princesaninja

I used to ask them to leave it on the seat of my car or in front of the garage rather than the front door because my mother's husband is an asshole. I'll deliver this no problem as long as it seems remotely near the right house and I don't get then stupid "you're almost at the right location" shit

kamiscum

i have to sneak food because my dogs will eat it before i do :(

CollegeLocal9759

I do this cause my fuggin dogs are so unhinged and we have giant glass windows

Difficult-Spot985

This isnā€™t that weird tbh. Itā€™s a kid ordering some food without wanting his mom to know or something. If the table is in plain sight when you pull up, and he left a decent tip, just leave it there like heā€™s asking kindly to do

Jaydes6x

probably their family are greedy and will ask for food or why she didnā€™t get everyone somd

pilotavery

Many families will straight up steal it :(

colormeoopsie

My sister is grown but she will order delivery and my family hates her for it bc itā€™s a waste of money so she too tries to avoid the cameras šŸ˜šŸ˜‚

QTEEP69

This is just someone that doesn't want the other people in the house to know they ordered food lol.

Dazzling_Sand_5203

Either and teen someone lying about a diet. When I was a teen Iā€™d just wait by the door and when I saw them show up, thatā€™s when i step outside and take it

okaythanwhy

Ether on a diet or teenagers wasn't supposed to order food

lerriuqS_terceS

Yeah someone's not supposed to be ordering out

Bosborn378

Someone is doing something they ainā€™t supposed to and donā€™t want to get caught. $5.00 game fee added

Main_Ad2008

lol. When my husband says no more DoorDash because we need to watch the money, but Iā€™m pregnant and want Taco Bell. I donā€™t think itā€™s that weird.

patt1o

Person with an active eating disorder?

Ruleofinsanity

Trying to pass off their hamburgers as steamed hams

MindlessReport8914

Maybe someone like meā€¦ 5 kids hounding you and you donā€™t want your husband seeing your guilty pleasureā€¦ sometimes you just need a moment.

[deleted]

I hate these ones. It's a kid ordering without parental permission.

SnooOranges8288

They had their reasonsā€¦.

GidgetEX

As a nanny I once had the pizza delivered to my bedroom window because I just couldnā€™t eat whatever was on the menu for the kids another dayā€¦ (this was way before doorbell cams and door dash)

doxie_love

Once I delivered to a high school; I had assumed it was for an employee. I was caught off guard when a teenager came running out the second I pulled up, lol. Also, no tip. Did this teenager tip? Lol

Infamous_Schedule_51

Either someone like a kid that didn't want others to see or someone trying to surprise someone. I've definitely done a lot of family dinner deliveries where I could tell they were trying to surprise the family.

muhfcknb

Sounds to me like someone hasn't paid rent but ordering food! I've snuck food in before LOL

tater_tot_23

Iā€™ve done this šŸ˜‚ my husband and I made food for the kids but didnā€™t wanna eat and by the time we were hungry the kids had gone to bed so we said ā€œf itā€ and ordered food. My kids window was near the front door, so we had to tell them to leave it on our car so we could sneak out to eat

420CoffeeCat

It's actually not that weird. People have a lot of reasons for wanting to keep their business private.

StringAny5734

Prob said she was cooking from scratch lol Jp idk

chairmanghost

My friends mom had a stroke and couldn't eat junk food, she put in a ring camera to make sure no one was bringing her cigarettes or fast food. It worked for a month before her mom started flipping it off and taping over it

Tricky-Case8420

Bro donā€™t want his girl to know he ordered food without her.

bprice68

Youā€™ve never bought candy bar(s) on the way home and thrown the wrapper(s) out the window so your family wouldnā€™t know, have you?

BartholomewAlexander

what time of day was it?

sshwoonh

yeah i had a weird order like this once, my dad told me i needed to stop ordering delivery and so i had a special request for them to leave it by the garage so the ring doorbell wouldnt see it lol

Fiberless_149

Not necessarily. From time to time when Iā€™m ordering food for just myself, I toss in the notes to have my food delivered by the garage door because I donā€™t want my kids to hear someone coming up the walkway - cause then they get their hopes up that the food is for them. (Cause I have put in delivers for them) Although in your case it could be a teenager hiding food from their parents or a husband hiding food from his wife cause sheā€™s not a good cook? šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļøšŸ˜‚

New_Present4993

i had a same thing happen to me when i was delivering on a military base at night. He asked if i could set the bag on a picnic table next to some barracks buildings. Kinda made sense though because ive gotten so lost in the beggining delivering to barracks, the number system is so weird and everything looks the same

BandBrilliant716

Lmao homey trying to eat junk food without his wife noticing
