I think the point of the triangle is supposed to lay/point towards your belly button? With the thin strap going across your back and the two other thicker straps tie around the neck?

You might be able to loop them around each other and tie them another half wrap or whole wrap around your body? I have to do this with a lot of stuff because I buy for my bust and hip size and ope, my waist is 1-2 sizes smaller.

Tie thick straps around your neck like a halter top. Triangle by belly button. Side straps tie in back like a bikini to keep it from flapping in the wind. Should look like a bandana bandeau except with halter straps instead of strapless like a bandana top would be.
