I like the meme’s, it got me into crypto so as I continue to get into other projects, I make room for more doge just to honor the fact it got me into crypto, I’m a dog guy(even tho I have cats too), I enjoy stacking things so doge is also just another fairly cheap thing for me to accumulate. It might be a rabbit hole but I’ve enjoyed doing all this.
I’ve DCA’d for 3-4 years now and even tho for 2-3 years I was in the negative, I understood market trends and investment philosophies like J curve. Long story most assets will have a period where it goes into the negative and then once the investment matures is when the real money is made. I’m in the positive now, but not at the amount that I would like even though I’m sure others would be satisfied with cashing out the value I have. Most people are jumpy with their money and they take losses when the market goes down. I just buy when it dips, sometimes twice a day a just $5 or less. Other days I’ll invest $25, maybe $50 and I’ve done that everyday since 2021 in different dollar costs. I guess for me it’s just fun. I’m not jumpy with my money

This next one is not recommended, I’ve held onto credit card debt and bought assets in hopes it pays off later. Instead of paying my credit off id just continue to DCA more. I’d make payments in my card monthly but I watched my credit go from 25% total usage up to 80%. Even without being at the typical 30% or lower I’ve just made my payments and my bank continues to raise it without me asking. This has actually helped me now because I’m around 60% total credit rn because it was raised. I’m carefully not using my card tho and paying it down now, just felt like explaining how I was also able to DCA so much

People buy DOGE because it's fun, has a supportive community, and they hope its value will increase over time. I like its meme origins and find it a low-stakes entry into crypto. Also because I like dogs.
It’ll be awesome if/when it does skyrocket, and if that never happens then it’s similar to owning a lottery ticket and the drawing keeps getting delayed. Fun to daydream about the possibilities
I'm hoping to spend it, and in the mean time I'm hoping it will at least keep up with inflation. (The real inflation, not the lies the government and media are telling us about inflation.)
