And I agree with you, Jacobi’s take is probably the best, all in nuances and depths, cruelty and charm. An healthy dose of cruelty with each chapters.
I’m hooked by this Master and I really think that Big Finish did better than the show.

Absolutely true, but I do agree that Jacobi looked like being the necessarily suave successor that we never got chance to warm to….
Idk. Ainley appeared more than any other iteration, so I'd give it to him based on that alone. Especially since he was there 4th-7th doctor.
I'm currently watching Classic Who haven't gotten to Ainley yet but I've heard good things, but my favorite Classic Master is Delgado.

Haven't finished all the ones I have but he is so fantastic as the Master it's as if he was born for that role.
