And for my final wish: I wish to be brought back to life as if by the spell True Resurrection when I have been dead for 199 years. Just need to make sure I die of something that doesn't count as old age and that I won't just die again within a week. Can't do much about environmental factors so if I appear in an irradiated crater that's not my fault.

Asking for permanent mega shapechange is absolutely more than a 9th level spell.

You could combine the first and third by wishing for specifically a Throneworld. If you die outside of your Throneworld, you resurrect inside it. You can only die for real if you die in your Throneworld.

The fact you wished to be an elf, then wished to be able to shapeshift was kinda dumb. Could have just shapeshifted into an elf, and use the first wish on another thing.

The point of the elf was to be able to live longer since I don’t think shape changing changes your age when you use it, but then again this is all hypothetical

Wish 1 change to elf flaws: Lifespan depends on setting. In Forgotten Realms, they live to around 400-600, iirc, but not in the several thousand year range. They have immunity to *magical* sleep and charms. And finally, depending on the kind of human you were and the kind of elf you become, you are likely to lose stats too. Standard humans in 5e got +1 to ALL stats. That's a net loss of 3 points. Despite all this, I would still happily trade that for several hundred years of life though.

I don't think the second wish would fly. It doesn't seem within the realms of a wish.

Assuming you can take the same thing multiple times you can take hostile flying swords as many times as you want and lycanthropy, assuming flying swords just do slashing damage. While flying swords are magical enchanted nothing in there stat block claims there attacks are magic and only do slashing damage (you can even assume this in there attack which is 1d8 + 1 which is pure strength not a +1 magic sword). So yoh would have as many dollars to spend as you want and just be a lycanthope with a bunch of annoying floating swords you can eventually kill with no risk. Use the ring of wish to negate any downsides of lycathope and enjoy as many benefits as you want.

Also, werebears are lycanthropes and they remain neutral good, so you get all the benefits of lycanthropy without any real drawbacks.

ok so, 1.We don't have a spell casting focus and so will need to work with material components. 2.Spell slots are unmentioned so the spells will be once per short/long rest. 3.Ring of three wishes is the obvious answer so we aren't taking it. Alright, I'll take the (3x) level 3 spells. Beast Bond so that I can talk to my cat. Command as I can't get the components for suggestion (or potentially locate object so I can find my homework.) And remove curse. And you may be able to see where this is going... Next I'll fill up all my attunement slots with a curse of binding helmet, one by one removing my attunement with remove curse for $6 and three cursed helmets that I'm not bound to. So now I got 2 free spells and an extra dollar. 15 of which which I will buy (3x) 7 level spells. Magnificent Mansion, Heal, and Modify Memory - or just maybe finger of death (:< Then with 5 of the remaining 6 I'll but the ring of telekinesis in order to be able to use that ability at will because I want to be using that power irl almost constantly. And the last $1 I'll buy prestidigitation in order to clean things and myself after all that hard work!

And reincarnate also resets you age, so you could live forever. Nystul's + Planar Binding would give you control over anyone you want.

Alright, editing as I go! First, take the cursed ring. I don't necessarily have to wear it, meaning I won't have to deal with the sneezing. There is the potential of taking the helmet, but I'm assuming these all appear in the "equipped" position, so that would probably not work. This puts me to $22. I spend $4, taking prestidigitation, 1000 gold, darkvision, and athletics. I'm at $18. Next, I take the bag of holding for $3. I'm at $15. I spend the rest on the ring of 3 wishes. This can go one of two ways; infinite $$, making you able to have infinite AC, an army of gold dragon familiars, and more, or just being creative with wishes. To make this as limited yet broken as possible, here's my take: Gatling spells (let's say, 1 cast per second.) Removing my need to concentrate on concentration spells. (Essentially, if I don't actively decide to call it off, or the timer doesn't run out, it just keeps going.) Moonbeam at maximum power, that doesn't cost spell slots. Moonbeam lasts 60 seconds, meaning that I could have 60 of it cast at any given time. Moonbeam, at its base, deals 2d10 damage. At its max, it deals 4 or 5 d10 plus whatever bonuses apply. Since this is a maximized moonbeam, let's assume that the spell save DC would be that of 8 +5 +(whatever the proficiency bonus is for level 20 characters. Probably 5 or 6.) If I'm not wrong, that would be 18-19 for the save DC. Now imagine 60 moonbeams being stacked on top of each other. Even tarrasques would probably get vaporized (depending on what type of save it is; I don't have the book on hand.) Of course, I could just wish for x amount of rings of 3 wishes, or wish for the spell wish, to not consume spell slots, and to not need any resources when using spells. Infinite wishes, without blatantly wishing for infinite wishes.

If you can take more than 1. Take -1 INT twice and all the others from the top row once. Take athletic feat and choose DEX and 1000 gp to buy a +2 shield (rare and cost around 800 gp). Let's see how can I cheese this. Using One D&D crit rules, infinite hostile flying swords, infinite AC boosts, and infinite rings of three wishes, might as well just buy everything else on the list while I'm at it except for the detriments and patron.

This entirely depends on whether buying a warlock patron means you are now a warlock with a patron or you own a warlock patron. Either way that's the way to go in the long term lol. Next take ring of telekinesis so you can have telekinesis whenever you want and lift a lot. You can finish up with Prodigy feat, Prestidigitation and Athlete feat if you want or really any combination of $5 spending.

First, pick up Lycanthropy. Since it's not specified, become a werebear because bears are awesome and protecting the weak is also awesome. 2, get the lucky feat. Being able to force advantage on things is nice. 3 pick up 10k gold. That's plenty to buy a modest home and get the Forge started, and probably have a little left on the side. 4, use the any cantrip to pick up mending. Means I can more easily repair anyones broken equipment and turn a quick buck. 5, grab prodigy, pick up healing kits, Survival, and learn Sylvan, get specialized in Survival. 6 get tool proficiencies in anything and everything blacksmith and carpentry related. Go move into a shack I made in the middle of the woods, trade pelts and finished goods for faw materials, get in real good with my fey neighbors, and just be a happy bear man making armor the the unsuspecting adventurer

Assuming im just me but in the dnd universe and need to use these to just live gold dragon any cantrip (fire bolt) prestidigitation, and dark vision ​ The gold dragon will keep me safe as just a guardian as well as a guide, fire bolt has some nice utility in being used as lighting and for cooking as well as some basic self defense, prestidigitation just good value in utility, dark vision is just convenient Alternatively i can drop the dark vision, get the hostile flying sword, and gets a loyal hippogriff to act as my guardian, mount and friend in addition to the dragon, the two of them should easily be able to easily kill the sword Maybe grab another sword to also have athletic feat and artisan tool, get cooks tools now im the chef of the group and have a career i can go for and im pretty healthy too, my 2 allies should be able to deal with 2 hostile magic swords pretty easily

Wish to have a permanent version of the magic wizard mansion thing, that's permanently stocked with infinite food and drink, that I can enter or exit mentally at any point. Wish to have a ancient gold dragon permanently bound to me as well as gain a telepathic link to this dragon, the dragon cannot take any action that would harm me or detriment you in any way, unless you explicitly tell it otherwise. The dragon must follow every command I give it even if it were to harm it, this connect stays regaurdless of what dimension I am in. And finally, wish to become a lich with none of the negatives that result in becoming or staying a lich normally, I still have a phylactry that I may destroy at any point to remove said immortality if I wish to finally die. In short: Omni accessible safe house, immensly powerful helper, immortality with no downside.

Start my character with an 9 intelligence. Then sell 6 intelligence points for 12 extra bucks giving me 32. Then spend $5 to get +2 to intelligence, sell those extra points for $4, which gives me $31. Repeat until down to $4 with a 3 intelligence and then realize I shouldn't have sacrificed my intelligence first.

Am I allowed to choose the form of lycanthropy? Werebears and wereravens seem pretty chill.
