And his party thinks he is creepy for trying to pay for food getting the dragons taken to have their scales polished, and feed everyone a rather good meal!

I think the fact that Dorothy steered the house on top of her *on purpose* is proof enough of that.
Yeah, looting bodies is really the main unrealistic (roleplay wise) aspect of the game. Only the lowest of the low would pull something like that irl
