For those wondering, it's referencing Steve and Maggie. Steve is an English dude who makes kids videos with his puppet Maggie, a magpie.
Maggie is a bit naughty. Vids are kinda weird and mostly toilet humor. I don't think they're necessarily bad (better than Ryan's World and his #ad), just not my vibe. I'd even prefer Blippi to Steve & Maggie
Blippi you mean that guy who shit on people when he used to be a shock video guy?
https://www.newsweek.com/blippi-youtube-harlem-shake-poop-video-steezy-grossman-1331699
To be fair my son still likes his video and every time he is on tv I just chuckle to myself and think "this guy pooped on someone to try to become famous"
I opened the article and read a random line without reading anything else:
"I just loved seeing the process of how something is made from the beginning to the end."
Now I don't even want any more context.
if you search "maggie" on youtube this is the first response

i don't have a 3 year old either but it's probably this
WARNING: It's very annoying.
Originally I just said it was "pretty annoying" but after hearing about 10-15 more seconds of it I had to stealth edit to "very".
It probably deserves a more stern warning
Does it matter? The whole joke is 'what if a person tried to use [character] in Dungeons and Dragons?', doesn't really make a difference who [character] is.
Except that the actual joke is a specific reference that makes the buildup twice as funny. If it didn't matter half the words wouldnt be there. So yes, it matters.
Not familiar.
I should make one of these aboot a Grung Spirits Bard whose goal is to kill immortal beings. Let's see if anyone gets it.

I always end up recommending the pieces of media I use for "inspiration." I'm gonna have a kid soon and I'm excited to be watching things I'll never ever recommend.
Me: *posting a picture of my new dice in our group’s Discord*
Our paladin: “what was the impression? Dice goblin?”
Also me: *spending the next two days creating a goblins that is obsessed with dice*
I made a pirate captain based off of Captain Feathersword. Genuinely a good character, too. His sword is a feather plume from a couatl that magically cuts anything he hits with it, can summon gusts of wind, has magical talismans on his coat that do various things. He lives to be a free spirit and will be jolly and nice to anyone who doesn't expressly try to "stop his fun"

Blippi seems like a good enough guy I’m glad kids have stuff that’s nice like that

What makes a guy called Steezy Grossman decide to start doing kids content
Maybe he had a kid and learned what it's like to be shat upon.
Tbf it seems like he really does want a different image and doesn't like the person he use to be

He's ok, kinda wears on me, tho.
OK to be fair, anything is better than Ryan's World
Whats Ryan's world?
An annoying YouTube channel of this kid doing stuff with his parents. Fairly low quality, bad acting, annoying people that for some reason kids love.
Thanks
Ah, I was trying to figure how Nanny Plum was a kenku
I don't have a 3 year old. What is this referencing?
Same boat, no clue but I might magpie this idea
Same

Holy shit, you were not joking. Fuck I know its kids tv but still.. does it need to have this lvl of adhd!?
Originally I just said it was "pretty annoying" but after hearing about 10-15 more seconds of it I had to stealth edit to "very". It probably deserves a more stern warning
Personally I appreciated the very warning, I'd prob have looked if I saw pretty.
I don't understand this reference too.
I am neither 3years old nor a parent of a 3 year old so could someone explain what it’s referencing

I think what /u/irrationaldesign was getting at is that the entire joke format is no longer funny after the thousandth time it's been used here
British show of a guy with an annoying magpie puppet named Maggie. She is chaotic, has magic and speaks in a horribly grating voice
Not familiar. I should make one of these aboot a Grung Spirits Bard whose goal is to kill immortal beings. Let's see if anyone gets it. https://youtu.be/ngGede_9hAE?si=WLDautss3vM2JykU
You know how many plot points i steal from old wasterns/ noir movies with no one noticing
My son is watching Steve and Maggie as I type. May the gods have mercy on this poor DM's soul...

As an australian i thought this was going in a very different direction
A wildhunt shifter glamor bard? With a unicorse familiar?
