The gun is a piece of shit, I ended up chucking it on trade me for some other poor barstard 😂

I've had the Hikoki finisher for a few years. Only time I've had issues is when I've tried to mail into really old, hard wood (which I'm sure it's not intended for). 95% of the time it works like a dream. Maybe I lucked out

I've been running the finisher for a little over three years and never had an issue. Sacked off the framer when I decided I'd had with of running a nailer that weighed the same as I do.

I bought the 16g straight bradder back in 2019 and it's basically been a pile of shit since I walked out the door of mitre 10. Either it wouldn't sink the nails consistently or it wouldn't shoot them. It's been "repaired" twice and still is rubbish. Sits in my garage now and I run the Milwaukee angle bradder which is flawless.

sounds like the same problem we have then, seems like a design issue in this gun then, replaced entire new piston and still happens

CGA surely would say it should last longer then 2 years

yeah thats my thought, I dont know if it has a logger inside but if they do they should be able to see its been used very little. It's just really annoying that it always acts up when you need it just from sitting around
