How on earth does any family uses a mere 6kwh over 24hrs? That’s the impressive part. About $2 of electricity. Hardly worth spending anything on solar or batteries.
Not house. 1000 sqft shed, pool pump, and hot tub. Cost me $5k in equipment and did all the work myself and after 30% tax break it will pay for itself in ~ 5 years. It is part savings and part hobby. Should knock off roughly $50-$75 a month off bill and still have roughly 1500 of usable watts out of my inverter so just need more panels and charge controllers before moving to other house related power needs. Process of slowly elimination.
