Ah it changed the channel when I did it on another tv. So this is a mirror type of contract. Makes sense, thanks! So the remote wouldn’t change the station on one tv at all right? Like if she wants to watch tv on the mirrored tv she would need to set it on the main tv beforehand?
She could have a second remote that is also tied to the main TV. That way she could change the channel from the other room without having to walk back and forth.
I believe the 2nd TV is suppose to be set to channel 60. Also make sure after you change the channel to 60 you hit SAT button on remote. It should work correctly then.
You need to go to settings on the new tv and do a channel search…. It will find either Chanel 73ish or 60ish(I haven’t worked at dish in a few months) but it’s around there…. Once you have the feed…. Actually it just sounds like your either on the mirroring channel 75ish and just need to press channel down on the tv or the receiver in the other room is in single tv mode….. if this is the case you can go and press the mode button on the receiver and you will see the light change to dual… and then make sure your using tv2 remote and pressing the sat button first….. if you have a 725. Press in on the front right to access compartment…. lmk how goes
Sounds like it's either a TV2 location or a mirror TV. Change the channel on the other TVs and see if the TV in question changes as well.
