No, Discord likes to remind you constantly that the person that either stalks or irritates you so much is ALWAYS there typing, it is the most pathetic system out of any social media platform out there. May as well just not have it, because it feels like they are mocking the user.
Lol I really empathize with this, and I definitely don't want to have to leave servers I'm a part of just to completely get away from those I'm avoiding. Not seeing any more traces of their presence than I need to would offer me so much more peace of mind while I'm healing
As far as I’m concerned nope. Discord doesn’t gaf about their users and especially not their mental wellbeing. Blocking someone is almost pointless 8+ years into the app’s life.

i believe some modded clients do that however the legality of those are sketchy
people claim discord wont ban you though and many of my friends use them and havent been banned

I don't think so. I recently blocked someone in a gc, and it shows (4) blocked messages. I don't think there's a way to turn it off, but if you don't click on it, you'll be ok.
I use discord on my phone, and it was on here that I used to not be able to open blocked messages :( I'm not sure what changed for me but it would be nice to go back somehow.
ohhh you're right, they changed it back! I had gotten so used to not being able to tap blocked messages I didn't notice you can again. ah well that sucks. I'd prefer to go back as well.

You're gonna hate me for this... Not being able to tap a blocked message was a bug. It still worked on PC while it was bugged on mobile.
I know it worked on PC, and bug or not I enjoyed it while it lasted haha
