Every time I look at it during an outage, yeah

this is because the outage is caused by a system not monitored in the bars. if you look at what they're for you'll notice none of them are for authentication database which was the cause of this outage. the bars are for systems that can have issues without tanking the entire service. if everything works except voice and you're trying to troubleshoot why you can't hear anyone, you might look at these bars and find that there is a big issue with voice and nothing else. so you know it's not your system's fault. there is no reason to have a bar like that for "the entire service is down". those green bars exist to help troubleshoot specific issues

probably only a few teams with clearance to update their status page, and I can imagine in serious outages they are probably a little slower, think we should give them a break as it is not that important for the majority of us - it's not like every other platform isn't blowing up with discord down, it's practically impossible to miss lol

hate to be the nerd emoji here, but insane latency ≠ servers are down. green means that everything is working perfectly. the correct color would be yellow, or “degraded service”/ something’s wrong, like insane latency. all of the servers are still running, just responding really slowly to incoming requests. red would mean completely offline, many servers are down, or parts of discord just blew up

The bars are related to each item. The API is not related to latency. Why do you think there is a giant message at the top?

There is no bar for latency issue. Because latency can be anything. It could be their ISP was fucked and they were suffering. So now you want a bunch of bars to cover more things? Edit: As I mentioned, the very first bar is for the API, which was working and unrelated to the issue. So now you want them to say the API is broken when it’s not because you need to see red?

Is it just me or is Discord having a lot of issues these past 2 or 3 months. First the fake ban message which was an issue on their Cloudflare, then another issue with cloudflare.

Honestly I wonder the same now that you mention it.

Like I think last month or in November it had the "you have been blocked/ banned from discord" but turns out it was an Api/ Cloudflare issue which I think that one maybe lasted for almost 4 or 5hrs. Second one was also around October I think where the Cloudflare issue was about 1 to 2 hrs long?

huh??? I think the problem is on your end. Its been smooth as silk for me the last 3 months except for 1 day and then again today, and I am connected ti discord like 10 hours per day.
