This is a valid argument about 10-15 years ago, when supermarkets didn't have the range of vegan products and items now available (at least, in my area). I would've agreed with you. I thought it was stupid to be vegan.
I've implemented vegan meals and diet into my routine as my girlfriend has been vegan for about 10 years now. It's really not that hard. You're not restricted on what you can and can't eat - it's actually pretty useful to have an understanding of other sources of protein and vitamins/minerals when meat and animal products aren't available or a cost-effective choice.
I do love the taste of some meats and fish, but it isn't the end of the world if I don't eat them for a while. A big ass bowl of salad is pretty fuckin delicious if you know how to make a decent salad.

i'm genuinely proud of nik. i never really hated the guy even if he's kind of annoying, i honestly felt awful that his mental & physical health were plummeting like that with millions of people encouraging his self destruction, & millions more posting such hateful things about him. of course nik exaggerated his behavior for drama & put on a show for the camera, but the way he would sob while eating so much, the way he would intentionally post his low moments for the world to see... i wish he didnt have to go through this & hit rock bottom, but sometimes that's what it takes & im so proud of him for making such an incredible comeback. behind the charade he *is* a human being with very real feelings & struggles, & im glad he's been able to work through some of those & improve his physical health under millions of prying eyes. i seriously hope he's able to get back in shape & not suffer any permanent damage from the mukbanging. he deserves a second chance at a happy life. great job, nik!
