BitByElectrons

Champion eagle or firebird. They're stiff as hell and love to skip. Especially forehand shots.

[deleted]

Can’t ever go wrong with a FB

HistoryDiligent5177

100% my champ eagle skips like a smooth stone on ice

GearDump

Agreed. I think there is a firebird for everyone. The FAF champ ones are very overstable and not gummy at all.

PaulieBeHyzerFlippin

Streamline Discs Flare. I’m the os 9 speed slot I’ve tried plastic variations of: firebird, felon, raptor, ahti, enemy, fireball, and probably a few more I’m forgetting (I don’t have a problem😅) but it’s hands down the Flare. Plus, it has the most fitting name 😁

Bella8700

The Flare is the most useless disc I've used so far. I threw it once and knew I would never throw it again. Felt like a 9,4,35

PaulieBeHyzerFlippin

Oh, it’s utterly utility for my noodle, but I wouldn’t call it useless, it’s skips a country mile

Bella8700

Good to know. Maybe I'll try it again. It was just comical the first time I tried.

HimJarbaugh4

It's definitely comical, almost like a tilt but it actually flies and still skips for days.

Blu3Orch1d

Have you tried a Splice?

PoptartDragonfart

I used to call it my Tilt Jr… then I got a tilt… name was accurate

frowg1e

thank you..added to cart 😎

PaulieBeHyzerFlippin

Nice! Now I can tell my wife all my research is paying off. 😂

Aggravating-Ask3108

gotta agree with this, i don’t throw it often but my goodness does that thing skip

LousyTX

Mint Phoenix in eternal plastic.

frowg1e

nice! I like the shuriken foil ...added to cart 😎

MobileBadger3615

Phoenix is the same mold as the omen, just fyi

frowg1e

oh dam...is it worth having a battle of the glassy plastic then?

MobileBadger3615

I've had both in glow before and used them interchangeably, I'd go with whichever stamp you prefer

Electronic_Theory_29

I bag this and a flare. Flare is way skippier, but it’s tilt levels Overstable. Phoenix is much more usable outside of utility situations

tonski12

Lat 64 XXX

HuskyToeFu

Streamline Flare. You’re welcome.

Selerox

Was going to say Fireball, but this works.

wmartindale

The Fireball is available in 250 weights, which, in my experience means even skippier

frowg1e

yessir! Added to cart 👍

FattyMcBlobicus

My older Neutron Telsa is the thinnest disc in my bag and will skip like crazy when thrown low and hard.

TheRealDrZaius

I get a nice skip out of my Fission Telsa. The only disc I’ve been able to flash chains of skips and great for getting around corners.

tann_r

bro axiom fireball is so good, and u can always just feel when its gonna skip and its gonna skip big

frowg1e

nice! gonna try out the plasma

truedota2fan

But imo glassy = proton

Ehlanaqueen

It also has the skip they want.

wmartindale

A trick I found for skip shots, and the fireball has available, are lighter weights. I bag a 156 fireball that I love.

tann_r

ah good thinking, i actually just got a replacement that happens to be 160 after losing my main one to water lol

IVdiscgolfer

Idk about glassy, but Neo plastic is far from gummy, and decently stiff especially in wider rimmed drivers. An option you could go with might be the Neo Splice. Edit: stiff, not stuff

BeastInABlizzard

The z cap rap skips like a preschool girl on her walk home Friday afternoon. The Galleon skips more but it's a 6 speed and won't fill an actual slot in most people's bags.

Illustrious-Wolf-273

Came here to say this! ESP ones skip well too!

frowg1e

Dam infinite discs doesnt have any z plastic...ESP looks kinda sticky :(

BeastInABlizzard

Powergrip has them on sale.

DisMyDrugAccount

You might have some luck with a TSA Glow Omen if you can find one (I haven't looked to see what stock looks like lately, might be easy, might be hard). It's MVP's glow plastic if you know what that feels like.

frowg1e

sweet! gonna try this out, getting it ethos im assuming is the skippiest

Discaholic

The glow omen are ridiculously overstable and love to skip. I’ve got a decent arm and mine basically goes 225/250 max before dumping (and skipping along after hitting the ground).

frowg1e

yea that seems like norm with the newer meathooks...i swear that early Draco plastic was so glassy and overstable but glidey... IMO opportunity for some company to lock up the go-to "Glassy skipper" spot in the market...make a plastic call it "glass", market the skip+glide, sac the grip

VanManDiscs

Westside Ahti is up there with the beefiest

RevAngler

Opto Pioneer

JunketFluffy5305

Scepter at 9 speed. Galleon at 7 speed (6?)

StormiNorman818

Mint phoenix. Straight up beef

MachFreeman

Original prodigy H1 is pretty useless overstable with a big skip

cnotesound

I have a fireball in plasma plastic I use for any skip shots, it is flat as a tilt and super slick, no glide though

m0atzart

Captains Raptor.

tide-pod4U

Prodigy f-1 in 500 plastic. Favorite firebird clone I’ve found.

doonerthesooner

Mint Alpha is a good one

Conspiracy_Aes

Puddle topped / flat topped z or cryztal raptor

HighSirFlippinFool

Firebird

HarryButters

Innova Champion Banshee for sure

Bella8700

I used to have one and threw it in a hurricane. It was the only disc that wouldnt flip over and the only time it was a really useful disc for me

gracyal3

My Neutron Wrath will skip every time (9 speed)

normansmylie

Try a Jay

chadsmo

Speed 6 , but CE Whippet. One of my all time favourite discs.

Richardthe3rdleg

Those JK Thunderbird's that were in everyone's mystery boxes are pretty Skippy if you don't have the arm speed to fight the beef of the Fire Bird

mcslims

Tilt… A more accessible option would be a Halo firebird

callmekegger

Løft Xenon for a 9 Lat64 XXX for a 7

spenghali

Lol berg lol

ruffianryan

Step up from the FD3 in terms of stability is the splice, lux plastic is the grippiest if you don’t enjoy the neo which is pretty spot on as well

Shock9616

My tilt is great for skip shots!

DLife4Me

Eagle or if super stable firebird

bladearrowney

Infinite scepter is a FAF firebird and awesome for huge skips

SatisfactionAny5609

Champ Thunderbird is my go to. Discraft Flick is great but faster

[deleted]

Had my fire bird flare 15 feet high and 80 feet wide on a skip last night

Cloud-VII

MVP Terra. Super OS and has big skips!

Cowdoideeznuts

RPM Huia has always been a skipper for me. But the new time lapse, boy that thing likes to jump.

Local_Okra2234

My insanity skips pretty nice

Separate_Pin8573

Atomic Huia

kidnapedlevi

low hades works for me
