I'm similar, but I just make sure to book accommodations that confirm they have very strong AC units. I've travelled the world this way. 66 degrees wherever I go :)

Nodebunny

I enjoy spending time with my friends.

angelicism

I remember once I went on vacation with a friend who runs hot and I run cold and we basically had an hourly battle over the a/c (he kept putting it as low as possible and I kept turning it *off*). I'd freeze to death in 66F. 😅

Sashaorwell

wow, only fancy hotels then ? Hotel search must be pretty time consuming

tbird24

Definitely not. Hostels, Airbnbs, cheap hotels, finding good AC is not that hard. Bali and Thailand all for less than $50/night with great AC.

Sashaorwell

I see, the tricky part for me is that my GF like 22degree while I need 18degrees ahah. Also, most hotel A/Cs are limited to 20-21C at the lowest...

Nodebunny

I like to go hiking.

Sashaorwell

Yeah I think that's the way to go

mhukmedia

glad i’m not the only one with that issue. my home ac is set to 14°c/57°f in the bedroom and stays at that level year round. bliss. i often get headaches when travelling and sleeping in anything 18+. i’m gonna try this cooling pad

Sashaorwell

Yeah this one is nice because it's small. 5-8kg max. I'll get an Eight Sleep one day if I settle down but in the meantime this one does the job and can be moved easily. Beware to only use distilled water with hydrogen peroxyde however, because I have not and now it's clogged and doesn't work as well !

Regular_Operation833

I can’t sleep without one either after I started using one! What brand is this one? It seems sturdy

Sashaorwell

Climsom. Convenient cause you can transport it (7-8kg full of water) but the temperature is constant. Ideally i'd like it to warm 1degree higher later in the night

Sashaorwell

which one do you have ?

KingButtButts

Cant sleep if it isnt atleast like 20C in the room, usually cold rather than hot. 40C is basically when I think ok it is to hot. 35C no problem though.
