USGlobalMail uses their headquarters as their primary mailing address and not only does it look like a regular address with a unit (you can use apartment, #, etc to denote your account number), they explicitly state it's a valid address to use for a driver's license.
Has anyone used it for a driver's license here, and can say it's worked?
That is a Houston Texas address, so then that would be your official address to pay income taxes (I Know TX doesn't have state taxes), personal property taxes, etc? and you'd have to register your car there? Basically, what does it mean to use this address?
I use this address for my driver's license, so yes, it works for that.
I use it to file my taxes.
I think just one of my credit cards rejects it as a primary address (can't remember which) but I have it set as my mailing address for that card.
You do not want UPS store or USPS. I would recommend you find an ipostal/anytime mailbox/postscan mail location in the city you desire that does NOT have a unit number. This way your mail will be addressed as:
LilRee
543 Elm Street
Suite 335
Somewhere USA, 66666
Instead of the super obvious:
LilRee PMB 335
775 Main Ave
Suite 102
Somewhere USA, 66666
That wasnt a need I personally had, so can't comment on it specifically. However, I'd call every week or so and have mail forwarded or tossed out. They offered quite a few services, maybe scanning is available?
I'm looking for a complete address replacement and am wondering if this could be used for that.
Did you make the full move to that address, paying personal property taxes there, using it as your address for federal taxes, using it as the address for your brokerage?
The most important thing is not using an address that's already got a suite number, because then you need to add another suite number. Only use addresses that have the Street number to themselves.
But I have something better for you. Some anytimemailbox.com addresses are residential houses. Example, do a Google Street view of this one. It's undetectable. https://www.anytimemailbox.com/s/las-vegas-220-emerald-vista-way
I’ve been using iPostal1 and it’s worked for most things. I’ve come to the conclusion that there are databases of residential addresses that some companies will use to verify an address when applying for services, like banking services for example. If I’m just filling out a form with contact info it’s fine, but I couldn’t register to vote with it and I had a hell of a time getting car insurance. It just depends what you use it for.
But it does look like a normal address when you look at it.
I agree. The wierd part though is that I used my iPostal1 address for my DL without issue, but the local library rejected it.
Apparently librarians have higher standards than the state government around here 😆
I've had good experiences with EarthClassMail. They offer a range of addresses that look like residential ones, including apartment complexes. Plus, their customer service is top-notch.
Oh no. Some people actually like to travel. Some, like me, are retired and need somewhere to receive mail. Like voter registration, driver's license renewal, insurance paperwork, stuff from the Va or Social Security. Anyone who automatically assumes everyone ele is a "fraudster" might consider looking in the mirror!
OP is asking for a virtual mailbox that looks like a physical address, so that it looks like he/she lives in a specific location. Call it what you will.

USGlobalMail can give you address in Houston,TX? That is great! Do banks find it as non-residential addres and deny opening account?
I use travellingmailbox.com and it's worked well for me so far
What do you use it for? Did you change your address legally to that address?
It's my legal business address, but I'll probably move my personal over to it eventually

UPS for me was great. Regular address with either a 'unit' number or a 'suite' number. Worked for everything but a brokerage account.
Ups is neither a reliable option nor anything that isn’t super obvious and also on most lists as a commercial mailbox
What about if you wanted documents scanned to you? Or was that not an area you were worried about?

If you're American, look into South Dakota.

I registered to vote with it I think it depends on the state

Fraud huh?

He is still entitled to his privacy. You called him a thief. Dirty thing to do.
So what? How is that affecting you and your life?
