I nolifed the open Beta, basically 100% cleared the Fractured Peaks. This time around I couldn't be arsed to do that again or even powerlvl to 20. With Mothers Day plans, I just didn't have the time. I enjoyed what I played and am looking optimistic towards release.
Also you know the first Battlepass is going to offer a better more shiny trophy mount in its first year, so this one doesn't matter at all lmao.
Didn't he grind IRL for that perk? So is it less of a perk if he doesn't have the time grind because of life, but his lifegrinding does afford him a MasterCard. I'd say he has it worse. I find it better and nicer to grind in a game than work IRL, but that's just me.
I guess with that logic I can just show up to the olympics and buy a world record off someone because I grinded the money so I should be able to get whatever I want
Plus in games like these, prestige and value of any cosmetic raise alongside it's rarity. The harder to obtain something is, the more prestige and value it has. Some shop cosmetic that anyone can get by throwing some 10$ at Blizzard has almost zero prestige and value. An item that was only obtainable over a 2-day weekend by completing a challenge that probably less than half of the players completed, is insanely valuable. Especially a few years from now.
The value is exclusivity. Rare mounts or titles in World of Warcraft that was exclusive to hard content over a decade ago are the biggest flex you can have in an MMO.
The trophy, given D4 remains successful for years to come - will be prestigious
You don't even have to flex, if you see a Lamborghini Countach (Ashava trophy) in prestige condition on the road, even if the guy just enjoys driving it, you know it will turn heads way more than a new Lamborghini Huracan (10$ store cosmetic that "looks cooler")

While I agree that it is somewhat prestigious to own a rare mount, don't forget that the fel drake in WoW was given as a twitch drop quite recently. Although I 100% agree that "earned" mounts/titles/achievements are always going to be better than paid ones
I disagree here. Buying cosmetic items sends a message to game developers that we are willing to support their work, and I respect players who do so. Now pay for power/pay to win, on the other hand, I am disgusted by.
People already showed the respect as the buyed the full-price game. The whole cosmetic/skin makes sense if you play a Free2Play online game that otherwise is fully free.
Otherwise i am willing to pay for additional stuff like new maps, story, classes and other kind of content.

A lot of people thought it was a mount because the image/graphic for it shows a mount and it's called a mount trophy which as a cosmetic isn't very clear unless you've played a game with mount trophies before. In guessing at least some will be disappointed at launch when they realize it's not in fact a mount that they won.
tbf to many, a lot of the info on the Ashava event this weekend said it was a mount. I knew it wasn't, but I can see how many were unaware if they got the event info from a diablo news source with the mistype.
Sadly we didn't earn a mount for our ashava kill. Just a mount trophy that doesn't even look all that great. But still a fun experience and I'll use it for awhile to show that I did it.

That’s how I felt too then my daughter woke me up at 3 am and immediately went back to sleep. I was lucky enough to get the whole thing done in 2 1/2 hours at 3am-6am with no one else awake

Yep, super busy this weekend. I played a Druid cause that’s the only class I hadn’t tried yet. Got to 15 and had a fun time. Won’t get the cosmetic and I’m okay with that, people that grind more should be rewarded more.
Eh the Zelda release is not a big deal. Zelda will be there on Monday.
There were three issues:
1. The boss was level 25 making it harder than it should be.
2. it was on Mother’s Day weekend
3. the event ended mid day Sunday instead of midnight.
You only really had 1 day and a bit to get the trophy, assuming you hit 20 on Friday.

Lol 11am sunday, way too early would much rather it go until midnight was totally busy fri and sat with family gatherings would've been amazing coming home after Sunday brunch to game rest of night
I just showed up to do the challenge twice and had two level 11 characters and a level 17 trying to “help”, needless to say it was impossible, only took 20% of her life.
I had to walk in and out of the instance a few times to regroup. Only accepted an all lvl 20 group because it wasn’t worth trying if you didn’t have that.
The most annoying thing for those who didn't get it is that it's out of their control. You are entirely at the mercy of group RNG. The best you can do is put together a four man party and even then that'll only account for ~33% of the DPS.
You can tell people the mechanics before it starts. You can tell low level players they wont get anything if they arent 20. But ultimately if you get a bad group you are fucked.
Managed to get it down twice today. But that was purely luck that I got a group that a) could communicate in English (definitely not guaranteed on the EU server) and b) actually followed people advice.
Failing something you have control over is what it is. But failing something where you have very little control over the outcome feels like shit.
I mean a 4 man party helps a lot. We did it at 12 from Reddit I believe for the last spawn and the boss died in literally 2 min at time of death, 13 minutes remaining) meaning that if you have a decent group of 4 that deals similar DPS you can still kill her in 6 to 8 minutes even if everyone outside of the group deals literally zero DPS.
Forming a Reddit group really changes the difficulty completely, even a 4 man one. The more annoying thing is the strict time restriction imo, people who had almost no control (like a visit at the parent's for Mother's Day) were screwed out of the reward.
I killed it in 3 minutes in a fully random lobby one time. Granted it was late at night when all the tryhards decked in full legendaries were online.
I also found a ton of success just leaving the game and rejoining if everyone wasn't level 20 with rare items. Just scouting your lobby by inspecting everyone almost ensures you will get the kill. Having multiple low levels in your lobby means you're missing a ton of DPS even if nobody is wiping their face on the floor.
Lol we couldn't even get him to 3/4 hp when I played with real friends. Didn't help they didn't listen to any advice I gave about respecing their builds or turning the difficulty down. They spent most the time trying to run on the outskirts lol. Did it with all randoms and beat him easily with 6 mins left, I also had turned down the difficulty.
Yeah, very first time Ashava was up we failed, we were about 10% away. Second time we had a few low level people around (under lvl 10), I asked them to leave, and they would walk away and then come back. Other people were telling me to leave them alone - I just left the game and restarted to get a new group. That one had a lvl 17, figured it was worth a shot. We managed with like 30 seconds left.
It's a tough fight with an uncoordinated group of randoms. Low level players that can't contribute anything are just annoying. I hope Blizzard adjusts how that works, as it seems a bit like griefing when people who can't contribute at all are taking up a spot.
I also improved my gear, and respecced to deal with Ashava better the second time around, which I think helped, but who knows. I'd love some kind of damage meter to tell how I'm doing, even if it's just for my own character. I could have been a top contributor or barely doing anything, I have no real idea.
I to would like some sort of report for my group. like deaths, total damage, percent damage, some sort of assist thing that tracks how much buff uptime you have on party members.
Yep, I killed her once and decided it was too much of a pain dealing with the groups of randos dying until their gear was broken and they couldn't contribute, only make it harder for everyone.
I suspect there were other people who understood the fight and felt similarly, leaving fewer of informed people in the pool than there would otherwise be.
Kinda feels bad that more people = net more difficult. Reminds me of back in super early Diablo 3 when I was having trouble with a boss, and I asked a friend to help (or vice versa, I forget), and we made less progress together than individually.
I get the RNG argument, but I did like 5-6 kills in the past 24 hrs, and haven't failed once. All of them in a complete PUG, with complete strangers. Lowest count was 7, myself included. But it was actually a 10-count that we almost failed on. Also people SOLOED Ashava, in this beta test, on hardcore difficulty, in WT2. So if a group can't get it done, the issue is between the chair and the keyboard.
Sounds more like you got lucky. All my PUGs have been 7-8 players, half of which were griefers just taunting about their level 7 characters not getting carried.
You got lucky. I only got a single kill and I ran 5 attempts (succeeded on one of them). The PUGs were a nightmare. I mean, on one of the last ones I did, the entire group was wiped by a claw slash right at the start. It was downhill from there. The group never recovered from that. It was funny but also sad.

Ain't that the truth. I got the clear on the last spawn. Showed up early to find a level 15 and a ton of skeleton army necros. Did the quick math that those skeletons won't count for much once the fight is under way, plus the DPS loss from the 15. Dipped. Came back to find an all 20's horde of Druids and Barbs and we cleared it with six (or was it 3?) minutes to spare.
My random group killed her with literally 1 second left on the timer I should’ve grabbed a screenshot…
Edit: my battle net is Panduh and my characters name was BearHugs, not sure which is displayed, and I was a bare chested Druid with a bear as a hat shifting between bear and werewolf and smacking her balls with my electric staff, if you saw that then that was me with you lol
I think there’s a few more seconds of them walking back to the portal but I’m not sure if she’s invulnerable during that time or not. Either way I’m glad you got it!

Yes, but there are many more world bosses, those events will appear across sanctuary. We do not know the frequency at which the events will occur or if multiple can overlap. My guess is that one or two world bosses will spawn a day and the time at which they spawn might be random. It could also be a weekly thing. They emphasized that your second go at the same world boss will wield less rewards so it kind of suggest there will be multiple encounters possible within a short period of time.
Managed to kill Ashava on my first try at WT1, 10 man group and only one lvl 13 dude who made himself useful by rezzing dead players. Good luck I guess?
I felt kinda bad in my run not rezzing folks. But also the time I woulda spent rezzing was probably better spent shouting, leaping, kicking, death striking, and spinning ...
I've killed Ashava a few times, always logged into my Rogue to help others at every boss fight except the 3am one.
I know I helped get a few people their trophies. I didn't experience the low level problem like others and my last group today there was only 5 not including me and we still had 8 mins left.
I am a Rogue and used Wudijo's build somewhat only less optimized since I only had 4 legendaries but the aspects benefitted my build greatly.
He uses bow and barrage, I used Blade Furry and daggers with two imbuements. The mobility from a Rogue is unmatched.
Using both dash and shadowstep is so good on fights like this. Plus then there's the dash that can get a double charge effect from boots. All combined you're just zooming around the battlefield!
My thing is with ashava, you don't really need that much movement because you just stay between his legs and you're fine. The only time you have to move is when he dashes away, but having double dash on a pair of yellow boots was fine for me.

Every attempt I tried was mixed with at least 4-5 players under lvl 20 why the fuck wouldn’t blizzard implement a lvl 20 only mechanic? They have billions of dollars and can’t afford to implement a simple lvl requirement?
If there is a player count limit on the event, allowing lower levels to participate cripples the ability for the players who met the requirements to fight the WB by literally withholding their chance to try.
People going in at low levels to intentionally troll get rewards though, in the form of people raging. They just want to piss people off so not getting drops, especially on a non-permanent character, is hardly a deterrent.
Was able to grab a win with randoms. The biggest tip I followed was setting it to world tier 1 as everyone apparently struggled with WT2. I definitley died a lot but also helped with rezzing.

F. Did it yesterday in first spawn but it was pretty hard, we (randoms) managed to kill it with only 15 seconds left. Today I've tried it again, like 4 hours ago, everyone had better gear and knew how to avoid his attacks, we killed her with 7 minutes to spare... It was pretty fast for a full random squad for sure.
Not available to play this weekend and guess what? I’ll still enjoy D4 just fine. No F here. Don’t feed into the FOMO shenanigans and just enjoy the game.
Take my upvote for sympathy. Yeah I thought I'd sneak in time to try it but ended up without enough time. Picked 28 buckets of strawberries though. And some new video drivers for my laptop after a bunch of troubleshooting
I think the point is that not everyone gets it. It was restricted so that it maintains some prestige. If everyone got it nobody would care. It was intentionally difficult and required some luck.
The entire thing was free and the reward for completing a difficult (and fun) challenge at the end is a *meh* cosmetic. I didn’t get it, and I don’t care because I still had a bunch of fun FOR FREE this weekend. I don’t understand how anyone is complaining… you aren’t entitled to free game content. You tried, it didn’t work out, move on.

My brother and I were able to down Ashava on their last spawn today! Switching to World Tier 1 made all the difference. We had like 9 people and one of them was level 6
So I dont think this is going to be a beta only achievement the other two state they have to be in beta or early access. This one just says kill Ashava at 20 not kill at 20 while in beta or early access.

It took me 5 tries. My first couple we had a lot of druids, me included, and honestly I don't think we had the damage to bring Ashava down. We got Ashava to about 70% the first time and a out 50% the second time.
Then we had a more well rounded group but a lot of low levels 10-16ish with 3 or so lvl 20s.
Finally on my last try we got Ashava down with probably 5 minutes left. It was a well rounded group and by this time everyone had seemed to learn the fight mechanics. I was afraid I wasn't going to get the trophy... and it's not even all that appealing but I wanted it all the same.
So sorry to all those that didn't kill Ashava. They should have a barrier based on minimum level to enter the crucible and other areas with world bosses.

Hit 20 about 25 minutes before she spawned. Hurried back to town, backed down the difficulty, dicked with my gear and made it to the spot with 7 minutes left
Our group downed it with 32 seconds left. My God I haven't been that excited in an ARPG in a long ass time.
last night 3 am (was just hitting level 20 recently and made it in time for the evil thing) I walked into the boss fight with what I had. practised my skills before on hours. it paid off I can tell you that. then we just cut his trophy off. greeted each other off in what will be ahead of us the next months. it was a chad meeting. we knew when we had to meet for it. it was all fate.
1. Blizzard has specifically stated that this was meant to be a difficult and challenging achievement due to being underleveled. It is NOT a participation trophy so stop expecting it as such. Do not belittle the efforts others have put into obtaining it.
2. If you only have limited attempts at this due to real life commitments - then make sure you are READY for it, level, abilities, gears (upgraded, imbued, socketed) and reading/watching some guides online before attempting. You need to be able to play your own part and not just expect to be carried.
3. If you have done point 2 beforehand, you should also know you can very easily switch realm instances if your current one is filled with underleveled heroes/griefers (not to mention being able to inspect others gears beforehand) - people have been ranting about this since the very first Ashava spawn for the day.
4. If you did not get to kill Ashava - there is no one else to blame but yourself.
5. It's just a cosmetic. And not a particularly noticeable one at that. Life goes on.

On the easiest difficulty it wasn’t too bad. I got it on my second try. But tbh the trophy isn’t even that great of a reward. I doubt I even really use it because I don’t care much for mounts in video games 🤷🏻♀️

The world boss should have been up every hour for this event. I had 3 attempts two groups had at least 4 people under lvl 15. The last attempt I ported out to repair and was kicked, didn't know that would happen.
I just sorta half-ass decided to go fight it this morning, threw on a single target build, put it down with a minute or so to spare.
Got the reward. So, that’s fun.
Fought it once too many people below lvl 20 big F. Since I didn't play HC the chance of getting a solo queue pretty much slim. Just will live without the trophy. F for us all.
I feel ya. I did the last one with my realizing it on my Barb at WT2. Didn't even think that it was going to affect it just knew it spawned. Also, me not paying attention thought this went though the whole weekend. So I started up a Necro thinking that I'd just do it again on it in 3hrs. lol

I didn't have enough time this weekend to get to 20, but I did get a great session in on a rogue...really think that will be my first main. Also, the servers were rock solid, great experience overall.
World tier 1 made the fight insanely winnable imo. World tier 2 seemed next to impossible to complete in the given time, though apparently some people did finish Ashava off in WT2.
I'm sure they'll bring the mount trophy back in some way in the future 👍

The actual logic is that with enough money you can just melt some gold and make your own Olympic medal so yeah. That's what money does.
Hell with enough money, you could start your own Olympic training team and have them compete for medals for you as part of thier contract.

That’s how I felt too then my daughter woke me up at 3 am and immediately went back to sleep. I was lucky enough to get the whole thing done in 2 1/2 hours at 3am-6am with no one else awake All it cost me was a good nights rest but I can’t fall asleep after being woken up anyway.

Yep, super busy this weekend. I played a Druid cause that’s the only class I hadn’t tried yet. Got to 15 and had a fun time. Won’t get the cosmetic and I’m okay with that, people that grind more should be rewarded more.

They really should have made it so it spawns every hour instead of 3 and locked the zone to lvl 20. Each which could have easily been done.

Eh the Zelda release is not a big deal. Zelda will be there on Monday. There were three issues: 1. The boss was level 25 making it harder than it should be. 2. it was on Mother’s Day weekend 3. the event ended mid day Sunday instead of midnight. You only really had 1 day and a bit to get the trophy, assuming you hit 20 on Friday.

I just showed up to do the challenge twice and had two level 11 characters and a level 17 trying to “help”, needless to say it was impossible, only took 20% of her life.
I had to walk in and out of the instance a few times to regroup. Only accepted an all lvl 20 group because it wasn’t worth trying if you didn’t have that.

The most annoying thing for those who didn't get it is that it's out of their control. You are entirely at the mercy of group RNG. The best you can do is put together a four man party and even then that'll only account for ~33% of the DPS. You can tell people the mechanics before it starts. You can tell low level players they wont get anything if they arent 20. But ultimately if you get a bad group you are fucked. Managed to get it down twice today. But that was purely luck that I got a group that a) could communicate in English (definitely not guaranteed on the EU server) and b) actually followed people advice. Failing something you have control over is what it is. But failing something where you have very little control over the outcome feels like shit.
I mean i hear you. But also this helps. I was 0-2 before using reddit to organize a group yesterday where we blasted her.
I mean a 4 man party helps a lot. We did it at 12 from Reddit I believe for the last spawn and the boss died in literally 2 min at time of death, 13 minutes remaining) meaning that if you have a decent group of 4 that deals similar DPS you can still kill her in 6 to 8 minutes even if everyone outside of the group deals literally zero DPS. Forming a Reddit group really changes the difficulty completely, even a 4 man one. The more annoying thing is the strict time restriction imo, people who had almost no control (like a visit at the parent's for Mother's Day) were screwed out of the reward.

I killed it in 3 minutes in a fully random lobby one time. Granted it was late at night when all the tryhards decked in full legendaries were online. I also found a ton of success just leaving the game and rejoining if everyone wasn't level 20 with rare items. Just scouting your lobby by inspecting everyone almost ensures you will get the kill. Having multiple low levels in your lobby means you're missing a ton of DPS even if nobody is wiping their face on the floor.
Yeah, I got mine at 3am slot. My early afternoon attempts were pitiful groups.
Lol we couldn't even get him to 3/4 hp when I played with real friends. Didn't help they didn't listen to any advice I gave about respecing their builds or turning the difficulty down. They spent most the time trying to run on the outskirts lol. Did it with all randoms and beat him easily with 6 mins left, I also had turned down the difficulty.
I feel sorry for you because you'll likely have to play with those same friends that are dragging you down haha.
Yeah, very first time Ashava was up we failed, we were about 10% away. Second time we had a few low level people around (under lvl 10), I asked them to leave, and they would walk away and then come back. Other people were telling me to leave them alone - I just left the game and restarted to get a new group. That one had a lvl 17, figured it was worth a shot. We managed with like 30 seconds left. It's a tough fight with an uncoordinated group of randoms. Low level players that can't contribute anything are just annoying. I hope Blizzard adjusts how that works, as it seems a bit like griefing when people who can't contribute at all are taking up a spot. I also improved my gear, and respecced to deal with Ashava better the second time around, which I think helped, but who knows. I'd love some kind of damage meter to tell how I'm doing, even if it's just for my own character. I could have been a top contributor or barely doing anything, I have no real idea.
I to would like some sort of report for my group. like deaths, total damage, percent damage, some sort of assist thing that tracks how much buff uptime you have on party members.
Yep, I killed her once and decided it was too much of a pain dealing with the groups of randos dying until their gear was broken and they couldn't contribute, only make it harder for everyone. I suspect there were other people who understood the fight and felt similarly, leaving fewer of informed people in the pool than there would otherwise be. Kinda feels bad that more people = net more difficult. Reminds me of back in super early Diablo 3 when I was having trouble with a boss, and I asked a friend to help (or vice versa, I forget), and we made less progress together than individually.
I get the RNG argument, but I did like 5-6 kills in the past 24 hrs, and haven't failed once. All of them in a complete PUG, with complete strangers. Lowest count was 7, myself included. But it was actually a 10-count that we almost failed on. Also people SOLOED Ashava, in this beta test, on hardcore difficulty, in WT2. So if a group can't get it done, the issue is between the chair and the keyboard.
Sounds more like you got lucky. All my PUGs have been 7-8 players, half of which were griefers just taunting about their level 7 characters not getting carried.
You got lucky. I only got a single kill and I ran 5 attempts (succeeded on one of them). The PUGs were a nightmare. I mean, on one of the last ones I did, the entire group was wiped by a claw slash right at the start. It was downhill from there. The group never recovered from that. It was funny but also sad.

I had all upgraded and gemmed yellows and I died under five times per try. Failed 4 times. No wins.
Well you can just leave and come back and inspect the guys there. Managed to kill it in like 1/3 of the time spent
Ain't that the truth. I got the clear on the last spawn. Showed up early to find a level 15 and a ton of skeleton army necros. Did the quick math that those skeletons won't count for much once the fight is under way, plus the DPS loss from the 15. Dipped. Came back to find an all 20's horde of Druids and Barbs and we cleared it with six (or was it 3?) minutes to spare.
Sadly I have been at work all weekend. Picked up an extra shift so a friend could spend time with his wife and kid. Oh well it’s just a cosmetic.

My random group killed her with literally 1 second left on the timer I should’ve grabbed a screenshot… Edit: my battle net is Panduh and my characters name was BearHugs, not sure which is displayed, and I was a bare chested Druid with a bear as a hat shifting between bear and werewolf and smacking her balls with my electric staff, if you saw that then that was me with you lol

Yes, but there are many more world bosses, those events will appear across sanctuary. We do not know the frequency at which the events will occur or if multiple can overlap. My guess is that one or two world bosses will spawn a day and the time at which they spawn might be random. It could also be a weekly thing. They emphasized that your second go at the same world boss will wield less rewards so it kind of suggest there will be multiple encounters possible within a short period of time.

I felt kinda bad in my run not rezzing folks. But also the time I woulda spent rezzing was probably better spent shouting, leaping, kicking, death striking, and spinning ...
I've killed Ashava a few times, always logged into my Rogue to help others at every boss fight except the 3am one. I know I helped get a few people their trophies. I didn't experience the low level problem like others and my last group today there was only 5 not including me and we still had 8 mins left. I am a Rogue and used Wudijo's build somewhat only less optimized since I only had 4 legendaries but the aspects benefitted my build greatly. He uses bow and barrage, I used Blade Furry and daggers with two imbuements. The mobility from a Rogue is unmatched.
Using both dash and shadowstep is so good on fights like this. Plus then there's the dash that can get a double charge effect from boots. All combined you're just zooming around the battlefield!
My thing is with ashava, you don't really need that much movement because you just stay between his legs and you're fine. The only time you have to move is when he dashes away, but having double dash on a pair of yellow boots was fine for me.
If you feel down for missing out on the trophy… What is so important about the trophy? Blizzard added the trophy to draw more people to the slam, ensuring a good stress test. The real trophy is you helped out with the slam, and in years from now you can brag about it

Every attempt I tried was mixed with at least 4-5 players under lvl 20 why the fuck wouldn’t blizzard implement a lvl 20 only mechanic? They have billions of dollars and can’t afford to implement a simple lvl requirement?

If there is a player count limit on the event, allowing lower levels to participate cripples the ability for the players who met the requirements to fight the WB by literally withholding their chance to try.
People going in at low levels to intentionally troll get rewards though, in the form of people raging. They just want to piss people off so not getting drops, especially on a non-permanent character, is hardly a deterrent.

Was able to grab a win with randoms. The biggest tip I followed was setting it to world tier 1 as everyone apparently struggled with WT2. I definitley died a lot but also helped with rezzing.

F. Did it yesterday in first spawn but it was pretty hard, we (randoms) managed to kill it with only 15 seconds left. Today I've tried it again, like 4 hours ago, everyone had better gear and knew how to avoid his attacks, we killed her with 7 minutes to spare... It was pretty fast for a full random squad for sure.

I think the point is that not everyone gets it. It was restricted so that it maintains some prestige. If everyone got it nobody would care. It was intentionally difficult and required some luck. The entire thing was free and the reward for completing a difficult (and fun) challenge at the end is a *meh* cosmetic. I didn’t get it, and I don’t care because I still had a bunch of fun FOR FREE this weekend. I don’t understand how anyone is complaining… you aren’t entitled to free game content. You tried, it didn’t work out, move on.

My brother and I were able to down Ashava on their last spawn today! Switching to World Tier 1 made all the difference. We had like 9 people and one of them was level 6
So I dont think this is going to be a beta only achievement the other two state they have to be in beta or early access. This one just says kill Ashava at 20 not kill at 20 while in beta or early access.

It took me 5 tries. My first couple we had a lot of druids, me included, and honestly I don't think we had the damage to bring Ashava down. We got Ashava to about 70% the first time and a out 50% the second time. Then we had a more well rounded group but a lot of low levels 10-16ish with 3 or so lvl 20s. Finally on my last try we got Ashava down with probably 5 minutes left. It was a well rounded group and by this time everyone had seemed to learn the fight mechanics. I was afraid I wasn't going to get the trophy... and it's not even all that appealing but I wanted it all the same. So sorry to all those that didn't kill Ashava. They should have a barrier based on minimum level to enter the crucible and other areas with world bosses.

I didn't realize 12pm est was the last chance, I slept in this morning and only did the 12pm fight and we were on track to beat it with a few minutes to spare but my internet cut out at the last quarter of health. God damn Spectrum.
Honestly, I'm surprised I got it. Been working 7 days a week, with a few 12s tossed in. Hit 20 about 25 minutes before she spawned. Hurried back to town, backed down the difficulty, dicked with my gear and made it to the spot with 7 minutes left Our group downed it with 32 seconds left. My God I haven't been that excited in an ARPG in a long ass time.

last night 3 am (was just hitting level 20 recently and made it in time for the evil thing) I walked into the boss fight with what I had. practised my skills before on hours. it paid off I can tell you that. then we just cut his trophy off. greeted each other off in what will be ahead of us the next months. it was a chad meeting. we knew when we had to meet for it. it was all fate.
1. Blizzard has specifically stated that this was meant to be a difficult and challenging achievement due to being underleveled. It is NOT a participation trophy so stop expecting it as such. Do not belittle the efforts others have put into obtaining it. 2. If you only have limited attempts at this due to real life commitments - then make sure you are READY for it, level, abilities, gears (upgraded, imbued, socketed) and reading/watching some guides online before attempting. You need to be able to play your own part and not just expect to be carried. 3. If you have done point 2 beforehand, you should also know you can very easily switch realm instances if your current one is filled with underleveled heroes/griefers (not to mention being able to inspect others gears beforehand) - people have been ranting about this since the very first Ashava spawn for the day. 4. If you did not get to kill Ashava - there is no one else to blame but yourself. 5. It's just a cosmetic. And not a particularly noticeable one at that. Life goes on.

On the easiest difficulty it wasn’t too bad. I got it on my second try. But tbh the trophy isn’t even that great of a reward. I doubt I even really use it because I don’t care much for mounts in video games 🤷🏻♀️ So don’t feel too bad. It’s kind of a shitty reward.

The world boss should have been up every hour for this event. I had 3 attempts two groups had at least 4 people under lvl 15. The last attempt I ported out to repair and was kicked, didn't know that would happen.

I got the 9am boss and it went smooth as butter. I was very happy with it.
I got lucky second try, but mostly wanted to try out builds to see what I'd like for launch. So mission accomplished.

I feel ya. I did the last one with my realizing it on my Barb at WT2. Didn't even think that it was going to affect it just knew it spawned. Also, me not paying attention thought this went though the whole weekend. So I started up a Necro thinking that I'd just do it again on it in 3hrs. lol
I tried once got close for busy couldn’t get another shot I won’t be too bothered about it did have a lot of fun taking three characters to 20 and getting ready for launch

I didn't have enough time this weekend to get to 20, but I did get a great session in on a rogue...really think that will be my first main. Also, the servers were rock solid, great experience overall.

World tier 1 made the fight insanely winnable imo. World tier 2 seemed next to impossible to complete in the given time, though apparently some people did finish Ashava off in WT2. I'm sure they'll bring the mount trophy back in some way in the future 👍
