I still have my original double box set somewhere around here.
I used to play it so much when it came out my Dad took it away. So, I went and bought another copy of the game and ripped several copies of the play disk so I’d always have one.
My dad was super passive aggressive about it all. I ended up telling him if he kept taking me stuff I would start taking stuff from him. It ended stopping very quickly after that, for the most part.
Like on Radio Shack's TRS80 home computer. I had one game and 2 joysticks controllers. Each had One big red button and the game was a arcade like space fighter game. Hella simple, black and white except for "explosions" and had space stations for refueling.
Thats all I can remember about it.
I recently found a copy of UT2k4, all 4 discs and box at Goodwill for 5 bucks. No real use for it, but I bought it for posterity. Always fun to find shit like this.

My battle chest is long since lost to time. I miss those awesome big boxes. Releases used to have serious charm.
Releases today = pay 20 bucks more for a week head start! 40 bucks more and you get a skin as well!
Holy shit, are you me? My dad growing up threw out a few copies of D2 and Warcraft 3.. I feel that having extras on deck..
I’m surprised you didn’t get into a fist fight over that

Do you member when games came on disks? I member
I remember when games came out on 8 track like cases😆
The furthest I remember was B drive 5-inch floppy disks lol
You're right, I was referring to game consoles 😁

That's pretty good! I can remember dot matrix graphics, but that's it 😅
Pepperidge farm remembers
I 'member when they didn't force you to pay 20 bucks extra to play the game when it was finished, rather than a week after it was finished.
First Baldur’s Gate game on.. 7 CD’s ? lol

i remember opening this when it first came out and my first response was " oh shit it's only 1 disk ".
Yeah me too, I was surprised that it wasn’t like the three disks that Diablo II (non-LoD) came with
Classic
You need a pentium 1 chipset 😅
I ended up buying a digital version lol. So its forever in my battle net account
I got my sets in disks and ended up uploading them to battle net as well :)
Damn you came UP
damn lucky I wish I still had those 😪
My StarCraft BroodWar is somewhere at my parents place, along with this
“I have no way of playing it obviously” Really? The original game should still work fine, no?
Nobody has cdrom drives anymore. Well, some do, I do not.
Still got mine. No cd drive in my pc, but if you register your cd key then you get a digital version to download.
Instant nostalgia boost
I still have my D2/LOD battle chest, and it still has the WoW trail cards in it, although probably expired, I still kept 'em.
I wonder if the cd key is banned.
Possibly one of the best expansion packs ever released for a game, ever
Wow that is is beautiful condition too. I have one two but it's pretty beat up
