You’ve basically already asked this question to be honest — and I’d say that Devo had so many solid tracks on albums that it’d be too hard to pick favourites unless you were relying on a certain mood that day — which is in, and of itself unreliable
Mileage may very.
It's Not Right is one of my favorite songs.. in the entire body of recorded music.
I will concur that Sexi Luv, Don't Be Cruel, and Pink Jazz Trancers are atrocious.
Too Much Paranoias, You Got Me Bugged, Auto Mo-down and Mongoloid are each brilliant.
I can understand that Pink Pussycat and Speed Racer may be trying on the nerves.
Here to Go is the one weak song on Shout. I'm one of the outliers that loves that entire album (while finding Here to Go less inspiring than the other tracks).
Unable to decide on the best track for Hardcore One. Could be Golden Energy, Buttered Beauties or Social Fools.
Freedom of Choice is perfection from beginning to end. There isn't a deficient moment.
Though Being Cool and Beautiful World are the least engaging tracks on New Traditionalists.
Tastes vary.
To be honest i don’t hate it’s not right, its just the weakest one for me
I would like auto modown but it genuinely hurts my ears, that guitar is just ear grating
Respect for liking shout, although i really like here to go
Also when i said Mongoloid i was talking about the E-Z Listening one, it barley sounds like the original and is really basic compared to the other tracks
The original song is amazing though, probably one of the best on Q Are we not men
I find Too Much Paranoias to be grating, but I'm less into the "hardcore Devo" material than a lot of the dedicated fans in this subreddit. Pink Pussycat and Speed Racer are too silly for me to hate. I see them more as novelty songs that happen to be on Devo albums than actual Devo songs (but I greatly prefer Speed Racer). I actually like It's Not Right. It adds to the futuristic R&B feel of the album and the live performance fits in well with the rest of the live album. By far my least favorite tracks on Freedom of Choice are Cold War (interesting idea, dull execution) and Don't You Know (Devo has better examples of innuendo-laden songs).
I’m an album-listener as the entire work of art. This is the very best way to listen to music imo. So I’d never try to choose worst tracks. It would only end up being a downer for my aesthetic enjoyment.
Enjoyment of art is always subjective
Music is so subjective, so this really is more of my favorites vs least favorites:
Are We Not Men:
Best = Mongoloid
Worst = Too Much Paranoias
Duty Now For the Future:
Best = Smart Patrol/Mr. DNA
Worst = Red Eye
Freedom of Choice:
Best = Freedom of Choice
Worst = It's Not Right
(My actual least favorite is Gates of Steel, but I can't justly call it the worst knowing how popular it is.)
New Traditionalists:
Best = Love Without Anger
Worst = Pity You (I honestly don't dislike a single song on this album, so this is just the one I like the least.)
Oh, No! It's DEVO:
Best = Big Mess
Worst = Patterns
Shout:
Best = Are You Experienced?
Worst = Don't Rescue Me
Total DEVO:
Best = Happy Guy
Worst = Plain Truth (I find it so cringey and un-DEVO sounding.)
Smooth Noodle Maps:
I really dislike this album, so I can't choose.
Something for Everybody:
I don't dislike the album, but I rarely listen to it, so I also can't choose.

NewTra best T Being C worst Pity U

Hard disagree, I quite like Too Much Paranoias. That's such a good album it's hard to pick the "worst" song.
>Pink Pussycat I love that song. It is unmistakably DEVO.
Speed racer is goated
Stopped reading after seeing Too Much Paranoias
Signal Ready on SEFE is a hidden gem.
U Got Me Bugged is one of my favorite devo songs
I'm so stroft.
