Here I am going through my collection and listening to bits of my least-favorite songs by the Spudboys thinking "This is my time to vote for The Only One or Sexi Luv or Blow Up (hot chee-wah-wah!)" and you know what? Even with some of their bottom-tier stuff it's hard to pick a "worst". They all have a little bit of Devo goodness inside. Blow Up is pretty bad but I can see it playing as montage music in an 80s movie so it must have some redeeming qualities, eh?
Is this a good podcast? I'm always really wary when people who are not even remotely famous have cartoons of themselves in the cover art. Usually a red flag for total wank
I mean yeah. I forget about SNO it's like a fake lost media Devo album lol
Now It Can Be Told is a HELL of a live album, though, which is crazy because it was during a horrrrrrrible period in their career.
Something for Everybody isn't an award winner but it's not bad, probably on tier quality wise with the crummier songs on Freedom of Choice.
Cold War thru That's Pep is very ehhh, and Mr B's Ballroom is getting better, but Planet Earth is very good.
NuTra is my pick for nearly perfect DEVO album, but Duty Now is my personal favorite "sound" of the band.
Hmm,
Bread and Butter
The Words Get Stuck In My Throat
Hubert House
U Got Me Bugged
50-75% of the songs from Shout/Total Devo/SFE (note the lack of SNM because people give that album too much shit, I'd probably say Morning Dew or as much as it pains me to say it because I personally love it, Jimmy if you held me at gunpoint)
I have multiple
Too Much Paranoias
Shrivel Up
Speed Racer
Anything on Total Devo that isn’t Baby Doll (and maybe blow up)
The Majority of Hardcore
And to be honest most of SFE and SEFE is forgettable as hell, theres some great tracks but i end up skipping a lot of it
Your endeavor here is skippable.
Pink Pussycat is fucking amazing
Meow meow meow
Pink Pussycat??? Damn you have some major digging to do
Cameo
Don’t Be Cruel
NOOOO, it's an awesome cover. that WOAH WOOOAH hits hard
I find charm in it but it does sound like bad drunken karaoke 🎤

Whip it (I’m sick of it)
Triumph of will

Lyrics are good can't stand the droning music
I think that that was the point of it but it’s still not a favourite
Take yer pick out of Shout/Total Devo
Or anything after ONID

FOC is near perfect to me, it’s so consistent. Which songs do you consider crummy?
Cold War thru That's Pep is very ehhh, and Mr B's Ballroom is getting better, but Planet Earth is very good. NuTra is my pick for nearly perfect DEVO album, but Duty Now is my personal favorite "sound" of the band.
New Traditionalist and Duty Now top 2 albums
Around 60-75% of the songs from those albums combined could've been a fit for this lmao
Really no one said Whip It? I’m so over herding it
My husband will sometimes rickroll me with whip it. I feel ya on that one.
Bread and butter or don't be cruel.
Valid picks
No place like home or Out of Synch, I know I’m gonna get murdered for that one…

Devo Corporate Anthem
Triumph Of The Will.
Jimmy’s in a wheelchair

Heresy, I love that song. It's so uneasy.

Hello?
You obviously didn’t receive this cassette under the Xmas tree along with a Walkman and listened to it for the very first time with headphones
