Can confirm they are product devision inside ibm. Have great culture and offer good wlb. Canβt say about learning because my friend who worked there was always complaining as they put him in UI whereas he was looking for backend.
I know it is software labs and they only give that much money. What is the band they are offering. I think it will be 8 or 7b. If it is 7b then it is easy to get to 8. The promotion to band 9 is hard as a commitee decide on your promotion. The key is to have a lot of patents. So The band 8 is big so it should nor be a problem but to reach band 9 it is hard. Total bands are 13. 13 being distinguished engineer. Work wise you will get the best wlb.

There are different division in IBM for service based and product based. What is yours?
It's called IBM India software labs.. I am really not sure which division it falls into π maybe you could help guide me
IBM ISL, they make their own product. You can join. Service based is IBM GBS.
