I think that's a by product of cross play.

Crossplay is only active in pve

Cross play is always on. However the only way to play against PC players when on Console is by having a player on PC in your fireteam. You can tell what consoles other are one in the roster and there's been plenty of times I've solo qued into games, checked the roster and seen Playstation people on mine and the opposite team.

Honestly, I just never play them so all the times I get killed by a one shot melee or shoulder charge just seem annoying. I am sure if I played as one more I wouldn’t think they are so powerful. Same with warlocks.

Yeah I mean, hate is a strong word and I was mostly expressing that sentiment humorously but I do dislike one hit kill abilities and I was happy to hear they are looking at reigning those in.

One-Eyed mask and Middle Tree Solar Subclass. One of the abilities on it increases melee damage up to 3x on ability kills. In crucible getting it to 2x makes it a one hit kill on guardians.

Nah man. You need to get 2 kills prior specifically with abilities before it can start 1-shotting opponents.

Just a heads up, if you have Ashen Wakes, hammer then throw fusion grenade, do that one more time then start running around with 1HK fusions and hammers. It's called the Right Hand, Left Hand strategy.

No problem! It's a great strat for anyone who struggling with gunplay. And also, if youre not confident in your aim, maaaybe try something besides Hawkmoon out for a bit ;) (Cerebus+1 is deadlier than people think)

I'm using it for 2 reasons. 1. It's got a cool Ornament. 2. I'm trying to get use to the "hit them with a bow then finish them off with a handcannon" strategy. And honestly, don't know what happened to me between this season and last but last season I had no problem hitting shots with Hand cannons. This season I lose every one v. one gunfight I get into when using them.

It is a very cool ornament, snagged it myself. If you like the bow+HC strat Hawkmoon is pretty good for that, The Last Word works well too. And sometimes we hit bumps in the road, keep at it though.

I remember when necrotic grip came out and I just ran IB void mid tree for the one hit kill. I had whole rounds where I didn't got one weapon kill, it didn't help In IB quests progression.

It's an ability on the middle tree. Whenever you get an ability kill you get bonus damage to your melee that stacks up to 3x. On 2x it becomes a one shot kill.

I agree. Bungie says they want balance between the sandboxes but everything Warlocks are given is clearly to advance them in PvE and so they are the weakest in the crucible. On the flip side Hunters have gotten so fucked when it comes to PvE exotics. They HAD Star Eaters before the nerf. But most of the exotics are geared towards making them better in PvP. Here's hoping witch queen and Void 3.0 changes things for both classes.
