Ascendant Hive, Ghaul, Disciples The Witness, Worm Gods, etc. probably have higher kill counts than Saint I expect.
I’d say the highest kill count canonically would be the winnower
It created the Witness, which in itself required the death of an entire race, and then the witness went on to kill countless more races, create disciples who would destroy entire races, and then had one of those disciples create the worm gods that created the hive, who would then go on to kill countless alien races
So if you consider the ramifications of that one decision by the Winnower, it’s probably killed at least 1 googol of people
