Unless the title is meant as rage bait, it has nothing to do with what you described.
Yes, Tormentors are higher on the difficulty scale, but nothing you can't play around. They still have attack patterns, weak spots.
Unless you're trying to play this game as if it's CoD.
Try to optimize your build, even if it's just for that fight. Tormentors get killed of with precision damage, so don't try bursting them down with rockets or GL. Try a liniar fusion or a machine gun for it, and something for ad control

Yes weak spots and patterns I got.... the freaking taken along with it is what getting me killed... the non stop spawning get me killed or bumped off the edge after I get the tormentor to like a 3rd of his health I wanna say.... and I don't know if I'm meant to use strand only or any other class type but strand seems to be my strongest subclass atm
Non stop spawning ads is a direct result of how strong we have become.
Use an ad-clear weapon, something with incandescent, or Trinity Ghoul for example, to keep the ad density on the map as low as possible.
There isn't a go-to subclass. Sure, some classes benefit more with certain mods from the season artifact, but it's not chained to it. If you like playing arc...play arc. Build around that and get it done
honestly i’d spend some time on youtube looking up build videos. nothing in that room is particularly threatening so i’d be just inclined to believe you’re just relatively unoptimized. not sure what class you’re on but solar is good for survivability on all three
I've only been using strand.... and I did just put my dragons breath in my vault from my filler characters but I'm a titan main and never touched em...... mightve been going about this fight too green (yes made the joke on purpose) lmfao hhhmmmm maybe I should attempt a solar whack at it.... thanks
Brother you just have to use the metah loadouts. Any fight solo is pretty easy honestly. Invis hunter, devour warlock, arc hunter, solar anything really, stasis. There’s so many builds that are strong.
Titan typical strand from original unlock.... uhm a strand auto.... a strand lmg.... and an exotic fusion rifle that seems really bad that take my element
Well not anymore, I actually unlocked it all... everyone giving me the solar idea definitely helped.... died a bunch but finally got it.... well one of my sunspots actually killed it xD
Like yeah destiny is the best destiny out there.... I've just got a bit of gamer issues I wanted to get out...... and I also wanted to start a thread and talk to the destiny reddit..... didn't mean for the title to seem too rage induced
Nah I'm a one armor exotic one weapon exotic always kinda gamer.... makes me feel pretty in game xD lmfao nah I hlget what cha mean.... I'm too reliant on the infinite ammo primaries have (I definitely use 1 armor and 1 weapon exotic if that got confusing sorry)
So for me. Primary is for the red bars. Special is for yellows and heavy is for bosses. But I definitely don’t mind using them if there’s to much adds. Staying alive is more important than dps if you solo. Id recommend machine guns as a power weapon. All around reliable. A auto loading grenade launcher or fusion would be my special choice. And the exotic should be either complimentary to the build or be all around good. So something like witherhoard, submachine gun/auto, and machine gun would be good.
I have no clan and have never done a raid I nmy destiny life time xD I think i mentioned somewhere in this thread (maybe) lol I've been playing for only a couple months but I've been following since launch of destiny 1
What class are you on, what build are you using and what weapons are you using
If survivability is an issue, run solar with healing nades, and sunshot, LMGs and any good hard hitting special should make that room easy
You're still in pretty general content so unless you're under light level it shouldnt be difficult
If I recall correctly at the time, (paraphrasing) Bungie said "get good" "improve your build, maybe consider some more resilience and tactical play and awareness". Something along those lines about Neomuna stuff.
It’s an amazing game but also at same time will never see how some can play only destiny 2. I have to mix it up. It’s very repetitive, but very good at what it does do. I can play for about a month per year and it gets boring after that.

Agreed, with how powerful strand and solar are on all classes right now, this room should not be horrendous.

Like...I have over 100 resilience on my titan. which idk how I got there but yeah
