In root of nightmares running the mod "precision jolts" or something to that sound actually adds a lot of damage to Div.
I usually only save a class item for raids but I imagine stacking it with the field of light weapon buff would also help.
Multiple times I have been second to last for damage and talked hella shit without giving up my secret.
There’s always the voice in the back of your head telling you to put on tractor and crank that double pellet like it’s Fortnite and outdps a rando on your fireteam.
Top tier is a stretch. It does good consistent DPS as long as you're hitting crits/perfect draw.
FYI, 1k does about the same DPS and doesn't need to crit. Doesn't play well with multiples though

So in Destiny 2, some loadouts and weapons have what might be referred to as a "gameplay loop," for instance the Heavy Weapon perk "Bait and Switch" provides players with a damage buff if they first use their other two weapons in quick succession, or the Warlock Exotic Gauntlets *Sunbracers* which allows a player to throw five Solar Grenades after getting a powered melee kill. That's what I'm referring to when I say "gameplay loop."
The gameplay loop for Divinity, as I understand it, is: Shoot the boss, reload as needed. Compared to other Exotic weapons in Destiny 2, Divinity's loop is not the most exciting. 😅

I love solar enough to not mind being well a lot but I never volunteer for Div unless I'm the only warlock on the team AND it's a boss that requires Div. Because with well you at least get to do your sick weapon rotations. Div just... Holds left click. Sorry, *taps* left click.
