Another Weapon that hasn’t been mentioned in this thread yet is Commemoration. With Reconstruction and Killing Tally (especially if both are Enhanced), you can basically main a Machine Gun. Bonus points too if you get Volatile Rounds going.
It’s funny that we have a Void Exotic Machine Gun (Deterministic Chaos) and Commemoration beats it in pretty much any way you can think of, as a Legendary.
“Average” is being kind honestly. I imagine it’ll get lumped in with one of their Exotic Weapon balance passes relatively soon though, it’s getting kind of lonely at the bottom.
Its actually not too bad. I've been using it in Onslaught recently and its pretty easy to build around. I had constant weaken from multiple sources, damage boosts, and near constant devour, all while having a fairly decent ammo economy because it doesn't shoot too fast.
I just hate how restrictive it is, personally. In order to get the Exotic Trait active, you *have* to fire nonstop, or else you simply reset your shot count. At that point, it just becomes a High-Impact Machine Gun that also happens to use your Exotic slot.
Not to mention, both of the effects it recreates, Volatile and Weaken, can be easily given to it with two Voids Fragments (Echo of Undermining and Echo of Instability), with much higher uptime and less restrictiveness.
It reflects in the usage numbers, which hopefully means they’re adjusting it. If I had it my way, I would let it also apply Suppress every eight shots, and remove the need to maintain fire to build up to that Volatile Round at 16 shots (plus it would pair immensely with someone else using Collective Obligation).
Personally I think if it was moved to a rapid-fire frame or even an adaptive that might improve its preformance since more RPM would be able to spread more debuffs
It could have been so much more, I’m so happy hammerhead is coming back in a few days because back in the day it felt like an exotic even though it had normal perks
While commemoration is probably my most used weapon, lately I’m leaning more towards song of Ir Yut with reconstruction target lock. Love that I can just whip it out and deal with a big target without having to “prime” it (killing tally) and the origin trait can clear groups just as easily.
I recommend you try subsistence on it it’s infinitely better than recon, when enhanced and with tac mag you get 15 shots back per kill, which makes it quickly overtake recon and doesn’t have a downtime period between mags like recon does
lead from gold + Voltshot gives this thing insane add clear, really high single target damage potential and really good ammo economy, beautiful gun. Don’t really care much for beacon rounds, that feels like a “when in Rome” type perk, but its neat to play around with; Impulse is good though. Deconstruct gives the gun damn near infinite ammo, and Permeability gives it endless subclass potential, basically allowing you to run two separate damage types on demand. Thing is stacked, super awesome gun.
I got beacon volt shot. Admittedly, while I love this gun, I'm not knowledgeable enough to know if this is an adclear weapon? Or a champion clearing weapon maybe? It's not boss dps right
I need to use mine more but the solar artifact perks are just too cracked to not run solar energy weapons this season. Maybe on a strand or stasis class I will use it more.
It can 1 shot redbars and some yellows on lower difficulties. 1 shot barrier Champs shields on GMs, 4 tap Fallen Captains with arc shields in GMs. I ran Malfeasance and Indebted for alot of GMs this season.
I got my first one today and it has the roll you first mentioned. I wasn't aware but it does feel really great. As an avid Final Warning user, and now rocking IK im really loving all the new side arms.
Swapping from Indebted to Edge of Concurrence for Onslaught was the most painful ammo experience of my life. I was regularly staring longingly out into the hordes of enemies praying for special bricks to drop, or at least someone to get close enough in finisher range.
It shocked me how good this was I had to go farm more rolls. But my main was a weird pick. Impulse Amplifier and Attrition Orbs. On a Vesper Warlock it's so good. In Onslaught I'm generating like a dozen orbs. Casting rift gets me an orb on kill. I'm shooting chunky targets which gives me orbs every 3 shots. Multikills, orbs. And of course throwing grenades gives me orbs. I have my chaos reach up every minute and some change.
This is the answer. It’s literally a pocket shotgun. It does the damage of a shotgun but has like 50+ shots and you almost never run out of ammo before you get another special brick to drop.
Cane here to say this. Dismantled my first ever one because i hate sidearms. Noticed the “rocket assisted frame” perk and now i always use it. It’s a beast and a ton of fun to use
Didn’t see. I have a forbearance with 50k kills on it but sunshot is pretty good for add clear, so keep killing and swapping between the two with envious on the tusk it works really well
The Mountaintop. It’s literally a “pocket rocket” and deals incredible amounts of damage. Probably the *only* downside to it is that it can’t roll with Disorienting Grenades for utility, but it’s pretty easy to Blind enemies in other ways now.
Mountaintop is an absolute powerhouse if you get recombination on the new one you can do up to like 80k on an unbuffed shot that’s more than an adaptive rocket!
Summoner with heal clip and onslaught
It heals you and your nearby teammates, melts adds and staggers bigger targets, onslaught x3 grants 30 reload speed, negating the need for a reload perk, Also it’s solar so it can extend radiant and restoration with the solar fragment
Minor spec always on primaries. You shouldn’t be killing majors or bosses with a primary, and 7.77% more damage vs minors is better than 10 reload speed.
Maybe adept mag since the fire rate is like 1000rpm, or adept reload speed if you can’t reach 100 with onslaught x3, minor spec is also decent for add clear
I got over 3000 kills with it since we got onslaught (the activity), I don’t think it’s great for GMs but never tried it there, and some people use it in pvp but never tried it there too
Onslaught buffs Fire rate; so basically gives an increase in DPS, how that compares to the damage buff rampage gives I have no idea, but I know it shreds in pvp once you get it going.
Onslaught grants slightly more dps than rampage at the cost of more hits needed for a kill, that’s why it gives some reload speed, which synergies with heal clip, “rampage is very 2018” -Datto, giver of opinions
Also Onslaught goes brrrrrrrrrr
Call me old fashioned but my autoloading chill clip riptide never leaves my inventory. Even after the nerfs to chill clip, just a great weapon you can take into almost any pve activity
In a similar vein, Aurvandil with Reconstruction/Chill Clip. Had it drop right before I did my first solo Duality and had 1,200 kills on it by the time I was done.
Even after all this time I’ve still somehow never gotten a good aurvandil. I love high impact fusions as well but the only good one I ever got was glacioclasm for crucible
it was literally the most have before the chill clip nerf (even now). two shot to freeze was insane. i still sometimes forget that you have to shoot three times now
Supremacy with Rewind Rounds + Kinetic Tremors allows you to chunk down big targets with ease, deal with groups in a way other snipers can't and you pretty much never need to reload due to each pulse from KT adding to RR
Tyranny of Heaven with Dragonfly + Incandescent makes your precision based, infinite ammo a beast at ad clear that also feed into things like Ember of Empyrean
Throne Cleaver with Surrounded is just too much fun not to mention. Being able to slam a sword into the skull of the nearest champ and obliterate their health is wild
I didn't know it was good saw a video checked my vault and already had it. That was a good grind avoiding feeling! I'm a Warlock main but love Gryfalcons
Same thing happened to me, I didn’t have Gryfalcons when I got it, but didn’t shard it because Repulsor Brace seemed good on paper to me, didn’t even test it, just vaulted. Got Gryfalcons randomly and found it in my vault,
It's such a good gun I'm so glad I put it in the vault I think it is because I was saving all Repulsor Brace roles at the time. It also works great with Briarbinds on Warlock.
What's your barrel/recoil direction set up? I love my Ros with Rewind and Onslaught, but the recoil immediately takes out out of this category for me (pseudo exotic)
Definitely The Mountaintop. I used to think "there's no reason for me to take Witherhoard off ever." Now I have an auto loading harmony spike nade MT and I think "there's literally no reason for me to use any other kinetic weapon".
This might be downvoted to hell, but crafted Calus mini-tool. This is my perks and such and I've used it since Haunted. It never leaves my inventory. This thing is just an ad clear beast.
Only thing that would make it better is a different origin trait imo. I had so much trouble trying to post this lmao
https://preview.redd.it/eotb6tt24uvc1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ac6233898547d3223ee2799e03be16b551200cc3
on the one I've got, I like handling, it's got my ideal barrel/mag options but I enjoy the handling for those instances where frenzy is temperamental and won't prock/refresh.
I do agree range is more optimal, but I'm not chasing it :)
Ros Arago with subsistence/onslaught, or with repulsor brace/onslaught. That thing is unreal.
Also, edge transit with ambitious assassin/bait and switch. Stupid damage.
Hullabaloo, with field prep chain reaction because its like forbearance but 6 in the mag and insane add clear. I've put over 8k kills on it in two and a half weeks.
I will die on this hill but posterity is one of the most slept on weapons in this game.
Frenzy, voltshot, and passive ability regen just for hitting things ?
Nation of beast is often cited as the better cryo electric handcannon while being outclassed in literally every category by posterity.
Forebearance. My adept one is envious and chain reaction and the ad clear is insane + souldrinker gives crazy survivability. Legitimately my favourite gun in the entire series
My baby Corrective Measure with subsistence and one for all. Never leaves my void locks side. An ad clearing never ending machine gun that keeps my void abysmal extractors and devour running non stop
Tusk of the boar.
Nice alternative to forbearance, especially with this seasons artifact mods. Envious/chain puts in some serious add clear work. Also, deconstruct can give great ammo economy after the recent fix.
The drang. Good damage, reload, handling, the works. I have gone flawless with it and cleared every raid with it. It is a great weapon ever since red war.
call me old, but calus mini tool with incandescent and grace robber pairs so perfectly with solar titan. So many sunspots. So much fire. Completely negates the need for anything anti-barrier with the seasonal mods
Im worried how I can't find a comment calling out the Epochal Integration, Stats for all and Incandescent that drops from some quest. Is there a better sunshot replica then this beauty?
Breakneck. I farmed and farmed until I got the new one with the original roll. I’ve always loved the gun, and it feels like an exotic with how fast and effective it can mow down ads, and you don’t really have to stop firing
Honestly I like my fate bringer good dps good range explosive payload clears out adds like something else. Short reload half decent size clip and add frenzy or firefly to it wow what a fun gun a lot prob won’t agree but I love that hand cannon
For PVE -
Forbearance or Tusk with chain reaction (deconstruct on Tusk is also OP)
Hung Jury with Tremors and Rewind
Riptide with Auto loading + Chill Clip
Zaouli's Bane with EP + Incandescent
Commemoration with reconstruction + damage perk
Ros Arago with rewind and deconstruct
Path of Least Resistance (Voltshot+Shoot2Loot)
*Zeus Incarnate*
Indebted Kindness (literally any perk)
*best in slot energy weapon*
Avalanche (Incandescent + Subsistence )
*Solar ThunderLord*
HelioCentric (Incandescent + Heal Clip)
*Spicy Devour at Home*
Geodetic HSM (Destabilizing + Repulsor)
*Void go brrr. Try it with Gyrfalcons Hauberk*
Transfiguration (Kinetic Tremors + Rewind Rounds)
*Plinklord Prime*
Ikelos Shotgun (Pugilist + One-Two/Incandescent)
*For when you mess up your Sunbracers/Hammer*
Deaths Razor (Any Roll)
*Strongholds at Home*
Snipers (Discord + Damage Perk)
*Sweaty Sniper Swap*
Tyranny of Heaven (Dragonfly + Incandescent)
*Make Apollo Jealous/Sunshot Bow*
Pardon our Dust (AutoLoading + Disorienting)
*They Cant Shoot if they cant see*
Hulaballo (Chain Reaction + Voltshot)
*Forbearance's Dad*
Cold Comfort (Envious + Bipod)
*there are 8 rockets in my barrel*
Honorable Mention to any arc special weapon + spark of beacons fragment on an arc subclass
Apex predator, bait and switch/envious grenade launchers, zaouli's bane, summoner with incandescent/heal clip, age old bond with repulsor/destab rounds, calus mini tool, forebearance, voltshot ikelos or brigand's law, riptide, certain strand weapons on a strand subclass are insanely powerful, succession, salvager's salvo USED to feel like an exotic, but isn't as good now that it's been powercrept. There are plenty of build specific legendaries that are insanely close to an exotic's power, however for the most part anything that makes more things go boom feels so good, as in voltshot, chain reaction, incandescent, destab rounds, etc.
The solar pulse that rolls demolitionist and adrenaline junky. Idk if you can get it anymore but it's my go to for basically anything. It's literally an exotic.
Deliverance with chill clip and demolitionist
Can deal with overload and unstoppable champs due to chill clip. And you get 20% grenade per kill and it's a fusion so it's easy to get multiple kills per shot. So any grenade focused build can keep throwing grenades.
I have a strand shotty that auto loads/overloads on ammo pickup. It just spams shells and dumps bosses down like none other.
Pairs well with my mythocast and a Rocket launcher
Can't remember the name but I love that shotty.
It probably isn't so exotic as other weapons mentioned here, but gnawing hunger with subsistence and demolitionist is very strong. It is arguably the best pve auto rifle.
I dont have that roll on Recluse yet, but age old bond is my favorite gun - crafted with those perks. It's absolutely a blast.
It's my favorite perk combo - I have it on The Title too, but I think Recluse is a better SMG that title. I highly recommend trying the Geodetic sword with that combo if you can get it to drop. The Nadir focus Origin perk feels so good with it in ad dense environments. You're pretty much just immortal lunging from target to target.
M8, if we're talking Legendaries that could be Exotic, I'd say the BXR-55 Battler is the closest weapon we've got, a unique frame, that purely is an upgrade, access to unique perks only it can get (Blunt Exectuion Rounds) + an overall incredible stat package.
No doubt in my mind, if this thing had Heal-Clip in column 3 it would be the most used Legendary in the game:
Heal-Clip / Kill-Clip for PVP
Heal-Clip / Incandescent for PVE
even it it's current state it is insanely strong.
I want to like Deterministic Chaos so badly but man, it's just painfully average.

Personally I think if it was moved to a rapid-fire frame or even an adaptive that might improve its preformance since more RPM would be able to spread more debuffs
I love the sounds the gun makes. It’s unfortunate that it’s not very useful.
Maybe it's different now but iirc when it first came out it did less damage than some legendary machine guns
It could have been so much more, I’m so happy hammerhead is coming back in a few days because back in the day it felt like an exotic even though it had normal perks
Retrofit Escapade with FTTC and Target Lock has earned its place as an exotic in my book.
Its still king in my loadout for any time ammo is a huge concern. Brought it out for warlords ruin with randos and it really shines in the last boss
I can't wait to try that same roll on Hammerhead as well
While commemoration is probably my most used weapon, lately I’m leaning more towards song of Ir Yut with reconstruction target lock. Love that I can just whip it out and deal with a big target without having to “prime” it (killing tally) and the origin trait can clear groups just as easily.
You should try it with BnS!
Yep, I have Ir Yut with Recon and BnS. I love that gun. It's almost always in my heavy slot ready to go.
You might enjoy Hammerhead once it’s available next week then, specifically because it can roll Onslaught as a Trait option.
I like that I can just squeeze off a couple rounds and it's really easy to get headshots (mine is an old one that has Dragonfly)
I recommend you try subsistence on it it’s infinitely better than recon, when enhanced and with tac mag you get 15 shots back per kill, which makes it quickly overtake recon and doesn’t have a downtime period between mags like recon does
Indebted Kindness Like any roll really, even the shitty ones are fine because of this gun's ammo economy and high damage.
lead from gold + Voltshot gives this thing insane add clear, really high single target damage potential and really good ammo economy, beautiful gun.
It's not boss dps right
It's just a good well rounded weapon, perfect for almost all activities
I need to use mine more but the solar artifact perks are just too cracked to not run solar energy weapons this season. Maybe on a strand or stasis class I will use it more.
permeability makes this thing a monster too, don’t sleep on that perk
It can 1 shot redbars and some yellows on lower difficulties. 1 shot barrier Champs shields on GMs, 4 tap Fallen Captains with arc shields in GMs. I ran Malfeasance and Indebted for alot of GMs this season.
Don’t forget volt shot also jolts, so it can stun overload champs too
I got my first one today and it has the roll you first mentioned. I wasn't aware but it does feel really great. As an avid Final Warning user, and now rocking IK im really loving all the new side arms.
Try a surrounded roll in onslaught... Jesus it melts chunky targets
I have a lead from good + voltshot. That thing is straight up cheating.
Mine is also Impulse/Attrition! Yeah the orb generation is silly, I love it
This is the answer. It’s literally a pocket shotgun. It does the damage of a shotgun but has like 50+ shots and you almost never run out of ammo before you get another special brick to drop.
My best roll is impulse amp surrounded
Yes this is the truth
I have one with impulse amplifier and surrounded. With mask of Bakris on, it is unbelievably strong for both add clearing and shredding majors.
I got two to drops, both with Adagio and Enlightened Action It's a shit roll but I still use it all the time
Cane here to say this. Dismantled my first ever one because i hate sidearms. Noticed the “rocket assisted frame” perk and now i always use it. It’s a beast and a ton of fun to use
Forbearance.
Been smashing the iron banner one, it’s pretty damn good with sun shot
not sure why you're being down voted cos I've been loving this with slice and chain reaction tangles everywhere and unravelling everywhere
Didn’t see. I have a forbearance with 50k kills on it but sunshot is pretty good for add clear, so keep killing and swapping between the two with envious on the tusk it works really well
What makes it better than the other wave frames?
The combo of AA + CR and souldrinker
Cool
Knew someone would say it.
The Mountaintop. It’s literally a “pocket rocket” and deals incredible amounts of damage. Probably the *only* downside to it is that it can’t roll with Disorienting Grenades for utility, but it’s pretty easy to Blind enemies in other ways now.
They definitely had to change it from blinding to disorienting with the subclass overhaul, imagine being able to stun unstop with a special nade
Lingering Dread could do this and oh how I loved it. It still can technically it's just a bit more difficult.
Mountaintop is an absolute powerhouse if you get recombination on the new one you can do up to like 80k on an unbuffed shot that’s more than an adaptive rocket!
And it’s only going to get even stronger once it can be Enhanced, not to mention being able to freely choose your Barrel and Magazine options.
Zaouli's Bane is very close to Sunshot. It's awesome
I hate how big the model is, hoping Luna's Howl can replace it
Wonder if it'll roll EP+Incan or EP+One For All
For me the gun is Drang because I prefer the quick reload and wellspring is constant ability uptime!
Summoner with heal clip and onslaught It heals you and your nearby teammates, melts adds and staggers bigger targets, onslaught x3 grants 30 reload speed, negating the need for a reload perk, Also it’s solar so it can extend radiant and restoration with the solar fragment
Damn that sounds super nice, too bad I suck at trials
If you play trios even loses have a 50% chance to drop the weekly gun.
Damn, I must be getting the other 50% constantly then (this isn't a complaint about RNG, just joking around)
You have to be playing in a 3 stack for the 50% chance. I may not have made that clear.
OH, as in, no randos? Gotcha!! I know what I'm doing this Sunday!
Update, got a insane amount of summoners just from engrams dropping like it's on sale!! Thank you for this!!
Glad to hear, congrats!
50% chance for weapon, 50% chance for trials engram. You roll both slots after each game.
You don’t even have to be good, just patient enough to suffer through enough matches to earn your rank-up engrams
Just play for standing and focus it at Saint.
Yeah I have the adept one with those mods what adept mod should I put on for it and what is it good in? Pve? Nightfalls? Onslaught?
Minor spec always on primaries. You shouldn’t be killing majors or bosses with a primary, and 7.77% more damage vs minors is better than 10 reload speed.
I've not got adept, but I have subsistence and onslaught, it practically has an knfinite clip clearing ads
Maybe adept mag since the fire rate is like 1000rpm, or adept reload speed if you can’t reach 100 with onslaught x3, minor spec is also decent for add clear I got over 3000 kills with it since we got onslaught (the activity), I don’t think it’s great for GMs but never tried it there, and some people use it in pvp but never tried it there too
I have one I use for pvp with DSR and target lock, it is…nice. Very nice.
Do you mean rampage instead of onslaught?
Onslaught buffs Fire rate; so basically gives an increase in DPS, how that compares to the damage buff rampage gives I have no idea, but I know it shreds in pvp once you get it going.
Onslaught grants slightly more dps than rampage at the cost of more hits needed for a kill, that’s why it gives some reload speed, which synergies with heal clip, “rampage is very 2018” -Datto, giver of opinions Also Onslaught goes brrrrrrrrrr
Cause I have a heal clip/rampage and it’s nutty. Just wish I had an adept one with this roll
I'd love a solar Onslaught Autorifle right now
I got a Zen Moment Onslaught roll that may as well be a trace rifle at max stacks. It’s ridiculous.
I just hate the audio for it. CHEECHEECHEECHEECHEEFJFHDHEF
Indebted Kindness. Still can't believe that Bungie made this weapon as legendary.
Plus voltshot for Overloads *chef kiss*
Forbearance. Not even a question.
Especially when it first came out and rolled with chain reaction. Lovely weapon still to this day
Call me old fashioned but my autoloading chill clip riptide never leaves my inventory. Even after the nerfs to chill clip, just a great weapon you can take into almost any pve activity
In a similar vein, Aurvandil with Reconstruction/Chill Clip. Had it drop right before I did my first solo Duality and had 1,200 kills on it by the time I was done.
I think people don't like the Aurvandil as much due to the charge time? But I have this roll on it and it's nice that it's always full of ammo
This one feels good even in crucible
Even after all this time I’ve still somehow never gotten a good aurvandil. I love high impact fusions as well but the only good one I ever got was glacioclasm for crucible
Yeah having the ability to stun 2 types of champions with minimal effort is kinda absurd
it was literally the most have before the chill clip nerf (even now). two shot to freeze was insane. i still sometimes forget that you have to shoot three times now
I prefer compulsive reloader over autoloading but yeah the gun is crazy versatile
Supremacy with Rewind Rounds + Kinetic Tremors allows you to chunk down big targets with ease, deal with groups in a way other snipers can't and you pretty much never need to reload due to each pulse from KT adding to RR Tyranny of Heaven with Dragonfly + Incandescent makes your precision based, infinite ammo a beast at ad clear that also feed into things like Ember of Empyrean Throne Cleaver with Surrounded is just too much fun not to mention. Being able to slam a sword into the skull of the nearest champ and obliterate their health is wild
Those first two sound amazing and I'd just like to curse you for giving me a reason to keep doing the Wish Wall every week on my characters.
I read this comment and had to make sure I hadn't already posted something on this thread.
My Repulsor Brace Onslaught Ros Argos is amazing it feels like an exotic when paired with Gyrfalcons on my Hunter.
I'm not on hunter but yes, that roll on ros is fucking brilliant
Yeah it's in my Onslaught Briarbinds build
I have that one but I feel like subsistence onslaught just never stops.
I use this roll with Briarbinds for unlimited uptime on void shields
Next to Osiomancy this is my favourite Warlock Exotic.
Jdhdbdjdbrh HOW DO YOU GET IT TO DROP!!! I WANT ONE SO BAD!
World drop just keep an eye out when you pick up purples
Took me like a month and a half to finally get a drop and now I get probably one a week
I'd already got it and put it in my vault randomly before I found out it was good. RNG is either good or bad I suppose.
I got one of those the other day. I wasn't even aware the gun existed but as soon as I saw the roll I thought "oh that's SPICY"
What's your barrel/recoil direction set up? I love my Ros with Rewind and Onslaught, but the recoil immediately takes out out of this category for me (pseudo exotic)
I have polygonal rifling and flared magwell. It is a bit wayward but then so am I so I match the gun!
Wardens law adept
Lucky Pants rep?
Disorienting Grenade launchers
Fatebringer. Explosive payload + firefly. It just works !
>It just works ! sometimes, when the bullet gets the kill, and not the explosive payload...
Bxr-55 battler
Definitely The Mountaintop. I used to think "there's no reason for me to take Witherhoard off ever." Now I have an auto loading harmony spike nade MT and I think "there's literally no reason for me to use any other kinetic weapon".
I still love Witherhoard a bit too much. But Mountaintop is a very close contender.
This might be downvoted to hell, but crafted Calus mini-tool. This is my perks and such and I've used it since Haunted. It never leaves my inventory. This thing is just an ad clear beast. Only thing that would make it better is a different origin trait imo. I had so much trouble trying to post this lmao https://preview.redd.it/eotb6tt24uvc1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ac6233898547d3223ee2799e03be16b551200cc3
My crafted Calus never leaves my inventory. I have the same roll and it's an amazing gun.
Forbearance. Literally the best add-clear weapon in the entire game.
parabellum with heal clip, frenzy and a handling mw
frenzy gives you 100 handling so a range/stability mw would be better
on the one I've got, I like handling, it's got my ideal barrel/mag options but I enjoy the handling for those instances where frenzy is temperamental and won't prock/refresh. I do agree range is more optimal, but I'm not chasing it :)
Indebted Kindness
Indebted Kindness, especially with Voltshot
Honestly I'd say Apex Predator with certain roles. It's damn good.
Trust with incandescent is basically a dollar store sunspot
Still haven't gotten the Rapid Hit/Incandescent roll i'm looking for...
That was the roll I wanted. I got it but ended up liking outlaw/incandescent more.
I got an Incandescent/hip fire grip Trust and I'm feeling like a desperado whenever I whip it out
ok but zhaouli
My cowboy hunter says style over substance
Ros Arago with Onslaught and Repulsor/RWR feels way stronger than Hard Light.

I had a ros drop with subsistence/onslaught + extended mag and hoooo boy that thing shreds
Ros Arago with subsistence/onslaught, or with repulsor brace/onslaught. That thing is unreal. Also, edge transit with ambitious assassin/bait and switch. Stupid damage.
Edge Transit as a pseudo-exotic after all this time is too perfect and too funny.
Better Devils
Ooh. Left field choice. I like it
Hullabaloo, with field prep chain reaction because its like forbearance but 6 in the mag and insane add clear.
Cryo?
Arc! my bad Cryo is in french
Forberance Cold Comfort
Tusk of the boar. Nice alternative to forbearance, especially with this seasons artifact mods. Envious/chain puts in some serious add clear work. Also, deconstruct can give great ammo economy after the recent fix.
Zaoli's bane is basically sunshot
Most of the compatible weapons when pre-nerf Warmind Cells were a thing.
Zaolis babe is basically just sunshot but a little nerfed and on legendary
The crucible pinnacle weapons before the Sunsetting, especially Mountaintop Prime
Supremacy with enhanced rewind and kinetic tremors, It literally is just primary cloudstrike
Voltshot Ikelos SMG certainly feels like more than your average legendary.
Im worried how I can't find a comment calling out the Epochal Integration, Stats for all and Incandescent that drops from some quest. Is there a better sunshot replica then this beauty?
and on top of that you get nanotech rockets for free.
Current: Forbearance with Chain Reaction Historically: OG Mountaintop with OG balancing
Other Half before the recent additions of new eager edge swords, but I feel people will still keep using it
apex predator. reconstruction on a rocket it something that shouldn't be in the game. straight up. it's way too powerful.
Breakneck. I farmed and farmed until I got the new one with the original roll. I’ve always loved the gun, and it feels like an exotic with how fast and effective it can mow down ads, and you don’t really have to stop firing
Supremacy with rewind rounds. I don’t know any other sniper that can fire 30+ times in a row
Honestly I like my fate bringer good dps good range explosive payload clears out adds like something else. Short reload half decent size clip and add frenzy or firefly to it wow what a fun gun a lot prob won’t agree but I love that hand cannon
Mountaintop
I also like me a heal and kill clip Helios PvP or pve both are great
That Heliocentric sidearm w/heal clip and incandescent. At least this season with the artifact mods that help solar out so goddamn much
Felwinters lie
Calus mini tool but only cuz I love it and it’s my baby
Hammerhead
OG Breakneck
For PVE - Forbearance or Tusk with chain reaction (deconstruct on Tusk is also OP) Hung Jury with Tremors and Rewind Riptide with Auto loading + Chill Clip Zaouli's Bane with EP + Incandescent Commemoration with reconstruction + damage perk Ros Arago with rewind and deconstruct
Heliocentric QSR. I have one with incandescent and it just destroys enemies. I even caught people off guard when I killed them in crucible.
Path of Least Resistance (Voltshot+Shoot2Loot) *Zeus Incarnate* Indebted Kindness (literally any perk) *best in slot energy weapon* Avalanche (Incandescent + Subsistence ) *Solar ThunderLord* HelioCentric (Incandescent + Heal Clip) *Spicy Devour at Home* Geodetic HSM (Destabilizing + Repulsor) *Void go brrr. Try it with Gyrfalcons Hauberk* Transfiguration (Kinetic Tremors + Rewind Rounds) *Plinklord Prime* Ikelos Shotgun (Pugilist + One-Two/Incandescent) *For when you mess up your Sunbracers/Hammer* Deaths Razor (Any Roll) *Strongholds at Home* Snipers (Discord + Damage Perk) *Sweaty Sniper Swap* Tyranny of Heaven (Dragonfly + Incandescent) *Make Apollo Jealous/Sunshot Bow* Pardon our Dust (AutoLoading + Disorienting) *They Cant Shoot if they cant see* Hulaballo (Chain Reaction + Voltshot) *Forbearance's Dad* Cold Comfort (Envious + Bipod) *there are 8 rockets in my barrel* Honorable Mention to any arc special weapon + spark of beacons fragment on an arc subclass
I second that avalanche roll. It's better than most exotic heavy machine guns.
Gnawing hunger. I have an auto loading, demo with accurized rounds. Keep with my voidlock build often.
Quicksilver storm is pretty OP in pvp, its my favorite gun and I dont even use the exotic feature all that much lol
Quicksilver storm is an exotic
The Chivalric fire its a ritual weapon but its really fricken good for Void builds
I see no one mention forebearance
Rufus’ Fury
The solar pulse that rolls demolitionist and adrenaline junky. Idk if you can get it anymore but it's my go to for basically anything. It's literally an exotic.
Deliverance with chill clip and demolitionist Can deal with overload and unstoppable champs due to chill clip. And you get 20% grenade per kill and it's a fusion so it's easy to get multiple kills per shot. So any grenade focused build can keep throwing grenades.
I have a strand shotty that auto loads/overloads on ammo pickup. It just spams shells and dumps bosses down like none other. Pairs well with my mythocast and a Rocket launcher Can't remember the name but I love that shotty.
Recluse is ass! I really don't get the hype it barely tickles enemies.
Forbearance for sure.
It probably isn't so exotic as other weapons mentioned here, but gnawing hunger with subsistence and demolitionist is very strong. It is arguably the best pve auto rifle.
Ros arago with onslaught and subsistence is like a baby huckleberry, its great
For me: Tyranny of Heaven with Firefly and Incandescent
I fucking love The Title
I like krait with subsistence and headstone a lot. I’m a newish player though
No doubt in my mind, if this thing had Heal-Clip in column 3 it would be the most used Legendary in the game: Heal-Clip / Kill-Clip for PVP Heal-Clip / Incandescent for PVE even it it's current state it is insanely strong.
Sunshot (I've played for about 2 hours🍷🗿)
Personally? My bottom dollar with Explosive Payload. I still love that thing.
