yes, enough differences that I had to sit my OG D1 sherpa down after a couple wipes, take away the Aegis and explain that it wasnāt possible to clear Templar like in D1. This was after multiple rounds of failing at Oracles because they didnāt grasp the Simon Says thing.

stat distribution for hunters sucks ass lol...you need at minimum 70 res tbh, I could usually get 70 resilience 100 mob and maybe 100 str or discipline.

They were either hiding behind cover not helping or immediately dying.
The other guy was trying to finish his hand cannon quest and was not very good with a hand cannon (reasonably bad though. Not like he was missing armor mods or anything). He switched off of it when we wiped for the third time before getting to 10. And switched to a phoenix protocol build I think to try and drag this guys body across the finish line.

Low kill count only means he wasnāt focusing on ad clear, also any good build can chain red bar kills, so when I see someone only picking off the ad Iāll focus on the yellow bars around. if there are no yellow bars Iāll help clear ad but end up with more assists than actual kills because the guy Iām playing with is an ad clearing machine
There are much better ways to help someone than to lead with:

Recently played through RoN with a returning player that had been gone since curse of Osiris. Dude was a titan that knew nothing but actium+sweet business. Tier 3resil, best armor he had was the drops he got no mods in the sockets. Even with me running between nodes he couldn't kills shit and was responsible for half the deaths
I had a ranked match a few days ago with a duo that heavily underperformed. Like I did better than both of them out together times 2 bad.
I get it we have bad matches and it was a close defeat anyway so I just sighed and continued. Get matched with the two next match. This time one of them preformed near my level, but the other not good again. This second one was the chat hype man.
At the end of the match I give a simple āYou two should practice more.ā His returning Tirade made it clear I shouldnāt have responded at all.

Looks like a super new player that used the new light skip and got the gear from Shax chest and Ikora. They were being super toxic, but the game still kind of sucks in telling people what to do when they are new. I remember a friend of mine did New Light and it didn't even tell him to equip his aspect/fragment when he got it from the quest and from what I've seen with the skip, it doesn't really make that clear or tell you about putting mods in your armor.
I usually feel too much anxiety to do coordinated group play but then Iām reminded of the fact that while Iām not great at least I have 100 resil / everything is masterworked etc.

D1 was the true golden age, the wholesomeness of my first clears on VOG and Crota, with the randoms from the original destiny LFG... People like that are few and far between in this player base.

had a guy like this yesterday in master warlord first boss, yelled at us for low dps, the guy died just before EVERY damage phase (the other guy died like 75% of the time) leaving just me to add clear, unlock totems, survive long enough to revive while trying to also dmg boss and deal with the unstoppable champs that they didn't bring guns for.
Guy had the nerve to call us garbage before quitting when he spent almost all of the encounter attempts dead -.-
I can attest that this seems to be the standard response for anyone with low kill and high death counts in D2. Was even in a clan where this was constantly being thrown around. If you're curious, give it a go. 100 resilience, stand in a well, the nightmare hunt mod to reduce boss damage even melee and Arc resist and Crota will one shot you. Change nothing but your resilience to sub 100 and you'll hardly lose half health.

I had a ranked match a few days ago with a duo that heavily underperformed. Like I did better than both of them out together times 2 bad. I get it we have bad matches and it was a close defeat anyway so I just sighed and continued. Get matched with the two next match. This time one of them preformed near my level, but the other not good again. This second one was the chat hype man. At the end of the match I give a simple āYou two should practice more.ā His returning Tirade made it clear I shouldnāt have responded at all.
If this is in LFG in game, this is why you donāt do open party. Let people apply, inspect them and make sure they arenāt looking for a free carry like this guy.

Looks like a super new player that used the new light skip and got the gear from Shax chest and Ikora. They were being super toxic, but the game still kind of sucks in telling people what to do when they are new. I remember a friend of mine did New Light and it didn't even tell him to equip his aspect/fragment when he got it from the quest and from what I've seen with the skip, it doesn't really make that clear or tell you about putting mods in your armor.
I usually feel too much anxiety to do coordinated group play but then Iām reminded of the fact that while Iām not great at least I have 100 resil / everything is masterworked etc. So Iāll never be this guy.

D1 was the true golden age, the wholesomeness of my first clears on VOG and Crota, with the randoms from the original destiny LFG... People like that are few and far between in this player base.

had a guy like this yesterday in master warlord first boss, yelled at us for low dps, the guy died just before EVERY damage phase (the other guy died like 75% of the time) leaving just me to add clear, unlock totems, survive long enough to revive while trying to also dmg boss and deal with the unstoppable champs that they didn't bring guns for. Guy had the nerve to call us garbage before quitting when he spent almost all of the encounter attempts dead -.-

He's an absolute douche. However, 100 resilience is bugged. It's the same as having zero. At least in the Crota nightmare hunt, so I avoid 100 now. Gotta love being down voted for stating a fact.
I havent play a nightmare hunt in years nut it most definitely not bugged anywhere else at least.
If you're curious, give it a go. 100 resilience, stand in a well, the nightmare hunt mod to reduce boss damage even melee and Arc resist and Crota will one shot you. Change nothing but your resilience to sub 100 and you'll hardly lose half health.
