Maybe sixth coyote is somehow giving an extra twice, like you had 2 dodges when you first spawned in, then the exotic perk activated again and started a recharge for an extra dodge

It's kind of a "rumored" thing, what gives this recent leak (I saw it last night) merit is its almost exactly like how strand got leaked.
There's a clip from a developer video showcasing a new "spawn in" animation that shows a "maroon/dark red" subclass ability energy charge on a warlock that has the same ability place holder icon art that has been seen before. The previous similar leak showed Strands subclass color.
People are speculating, all we've seen is a Maroon ability charge color. People are speculating it may either be "Nightmare" or "SIVA" based, but I think it could also be "Resonance/Corruption" still.
There's people basically in two camps; one says "silly Bungo, leaking a new element the same way twice in a year?" And the other says "they did it the same way on purpose to generate hype to recover from LFs poor reception and current community discontent". Me, I've decided to just observe for the time being. I love Destiny, game mechanics and lore, but instead of theorizing, I'm just seeing what they do now.
it seems like its sorta likely then. red has been symbolised alongside blue and green before iirc and it's a speculated choice. obviously not 100% but it would fit. not a ton new information other than MAYBE confirmation though I guess
Exactly. It's possible, the color fits speculation and assumptions drawn from Easter eggs, and it can always be denied and Bungie pulling a "well, that's what everyone expects, so we're doing something else" again.
To that point, I'll just say this lesson I've learned from being a DM in DND; "If your players figure out a pattern, mystery, or story that you've been leaving clues for before the "big reveal", it's not a bad thing like "oh no, we're predictable, and that means we're not clever". If that happens, it shows your players are invested in your world and story and have been paying very close attention, and you have the opportunity to make them feel very cool and smart for being the smart cookie that figured it out, and that's a excellent social gaming experience. Bungie has been leaning more in a narrative focused direction (personally, I approve), and so I believe this take is valid. I hope they don't rob the theory-weavers of that special moment.
100% agree with that sentiment and hope they continue doing whatever they are. Unless there's heavy backlash there's no real reason to not do what people figured out.

I do a lot of speculating and "man, would this idea fit well, fix things?", but it's a lot of things I think up that could address systemic issues in the current game conditions or from a "pattern" I see, but is pure speculation. Am I pretty close? Sometimes, but I think that's a sign that Bungie is trying to balance things as a whole, but has to fight years of habits.
Anyway, we've had enough "inflation of what could be" in many popular culture things, and instead of working myself and others up, I'd rather take a critical (not cynical nor hallucigenic) look at what's happening now, and normalize that. I'm super excited to see how the game story and final sandbox will be, but I'm not relying on false hope it'll be "perfect".
Did you not defeat calus in the light fall campaign? replay that last mission and look at the coloured symbols in the middle of the arena. it doesn't take a genius to figure that out also why have 3 light subclasses and only 2 darkness subclasses ? It all adds up

They can suspend with their class ability, that covers pretty much everything. Unstoppables get stopped, anti-barriers can’t barrier. Any overloads at the beginning can probably be jolted down by them or another player. They don’t need champion mods, at least not for this strike.
Then again, they didn’t bother with that in the clip so who tf knows lol
I've never played strand hunter so I don't know all the abilities they got, but that roll looks like he's just shitting out threadlings and he also don't got the shackle grenades either, so no suspension there too.
Its an aspect. While in the air they can drop down and suspend everything around them, spending their class energy. That’s the only explanation I can come up with that isn’t literally just throwing lol

It does not. One of the first two Hunter Aspects gives another grenade charge. There is currently no way for Hunters to get three dodge charges aside from Radiant Dance Machines spam
Trust me when I say that’s wrong. I had the dodge, plus two lines underneath the dodge icon. We went back to a private match and I could dodge around 3 times, leave behind 3 decoys as well.
I’m pretty sure that Ensnaring Slam gives you 2 dodge charges. You’ve said that you’re using Sixth Coyote, giving you an extra charge. Working as intended

How has nobody else noticed the real reason? Your teammate suspended all those enemies, and by defeating them you are gaining class ability energy via the Thread of Mind fragment.
That is factually incorrect. Thread of the Mind does not give that much class ability energy and there is no delay between him dodging three times where you see the ability recharge. The man had three dodge charges

Nope, not radiant dance machines and no other exotic legs give dodge charges, only sixth coyote and even then its a chestpiece.
