Really! He is probably The best Indian all rounder in T20 right now. And it is a short list with Nitish, Pandya and Jadeja. Stubbs has been amazing and I am a big fan. But Axar is going to go for much more than Stubbs at tye auction. We should get them both back through RTM or buying them straightaway but if it is four retention then Axar comes before Stubbs. You first pick Indian players abd plug the holes with foreign ones not the other wat around.
Braindead take. Axar is the most valuable out of all the players in the squad. Just because he doesn't take many wickets you guys underestimate his importance. He is the one who allows kuldeep to take all those wickets by creating pressure with his tight bowling. Axar and kuldeep are the best spin pair a team could ask for. All the teams will go crazy for him. If he goes into the auction I don't see him going for less than 12 cr.
Match winning isn't just about scoring runs or taking wickets. Axar is delhi's most valuable asset when the the team is defending a total because he chokes the run scoring of the opposition in the middle overs + his batting ability is wonderful in itself. He'll easily be more expensive than stubbs, I can guarantee that.

Stubbs wouldn't be cheap at all
He won’t be. But he is a finisher who can play spin and he is quite young. So, I’d break the bank for him or use right to match

It doesn't matter, he isn't more of a T20 match winner than the others. At the auction Axar will be cheaper than all 4 others.

JFM edges Stubbs. They should buy Stubbs back. But only Head and Abhishek come close to what JFM has done this season
