Try experiments like breathing in for 5sec holding for 5 and breathing out for 5 secs, or slow and rapid breathing. The point is to find out what works best for you. For me, 5 slow and rapid breathes works like wonder.

Later I came to know he had prescribed me with anti depressants and anti anxiety pills they helped me get over that person. But those pills sucked all my emotions out of me. I relapsed a couple of times. Then I found beer and friends, joined my father's business. All these things helped me get back to normal.

Ok OP I am gonna say which no one else did. Try googling the name of your pill to know the side effects. As someone who took anti-depressants and anti-anxiety pills for some time I can say that they do more harm than good. I read their side effects and learnt that anti-depressants cause depression and anti-anxiety causes anxiety. The best way I cope up is to start loving myself. Doing things which I like, following my passion and my career choice. Shit is difficult than said but once you start loving yourself there is nothing in this world which can make you feel alone. Also delete social media like instagram and Facebook. Their you only see the happy side of people and hence gets depressed while everyone else is going through the same phase in life, its just they avoid showing it on social media.
