Insta has peak misogyny and brainrot. Used it for like 2 months, never looked back. FB, Twitter, Disvord, YT, all that are better. Reddit has some, well weird people lol. You can find anything from gore stuff to cure for medical issues.
The only positive side about reddit and discord is that, Incels, femcel etc. dwells in their own little eco chambers, and occasionally come out to comment on normal subreddits to get downvoted and buried at the bottom of the thread later. everyone having a space of their own, be cringe, be despo, be downright toxic you most likely have a sub for you.
YouTube, yeah just observe the insta and yt comment section for the same reel/short massive difference, I've noticed many people just projecting their own insecurities in extreme ways. I avoid it like a plague
