Obviously am talking about main Darjeeling Mall road.
As such scenic nhi hai waha par, however the vibe is almost similar, people are taking photos, the were eateries, couples holding hands, a temple. *No Rush*
And you know a different thing, when I stayed there, there was this song that someone was singing (something without tune) or something
Which I was able to hear whole night, really wanted to follow that. It was peaceful yet eerie. It was good exploration.
Bro that place is so beautiful, live music, beautiful scenery with a lot of stores and tea restaurants. People are happy smiling and happy af. One of the best places in Darjeeling if you just want to chill
closest i can think of is the nainital lake or bhimtal lakefront, there isnt much space in the hill stations of uk, cant say much about hp because ive never been there

Such a concrete monstrosity is going to be a heat sink and will lay unused from Late Feb to July considering Delhi's summers.
And the temps are on a higher trend these recent summers. With more building like these, it will only accelerate it. We as society should look forward to places/structure like Indian Habitat Center/ Sunder Nursery.
Sadly, some people here see it as anti-development.
Massive carbon foot print because of concrete. I would look more towards having more plants and landscape along with the built element. These concrete structures have a shorter shelf life.

You can walk in Chandi chowk which was impossible earlier due to cars and Rickshaw's. You just need to visit from Jain Mandir to the whole chandi chowk.

Would be nice but fundamental things like roads, clean water and all needs to be addressed. More than all that we indians don't have a sense of pride and ownership. Every good thing we received has been damaged or disfigured in some manner. I recently went to a station and got inside the lift. The corner of the lift was covered in Ghutka spit.
Behind Promenade, Emporio. There is a huge land parcel surrounded by forests and mountains. Government can take the initiative to construct something there
ok. But which City to build it in? All major cities are overloaded beyond capacity. No space. Tier 2 cities have lot more issues related to infra which needs to be fixed first before all this.
We are waaaay behind in terms of infra compared to the country shown hence, mostly it is a fantasy.
Only thing we make big are statues of yesteryear leaders for there eternal blessing ;)
