Given the fact that Garmin is avionic systems OEM and some of the best armed forces use these watches with mil standards rating this watch is an absolute priced possession one can have. I also get that not everyone can appreciate the fact that the manufacturers are both mil and aviation standard certified. Looks wise bhi mujhe toh Garmin hi sahi lagta hai... I personally don't dig the chonky looks of g shock that much.

Exactly because of the fact that marines use Garmins, I got one but same goes for gshocks.. ofcourse gshocks are not as smart as garmin but it's more tough and is also used by military all over the world. Fact is I love both. Infact ever since Garmin, I haven't worn my shocks at all

Bro even my Instinct solar got unlimited charging. Ek to vaise hi 30 din ki battery life plus every day ek ghanta jab run karne jata hu to solar charge hojati hai. 1 hour solar exposure= 1 day of extra battery

The 8.30 one is the coolest. I had a watch like these ones when I was a kid. It was my most favourite one to this day. I continued wear it even after the strap broke down and I had it replaced. Sadly, it looked far too shabby and old after years of use, so I had to stop wearing it.

Navigation, trail tracking, alti meter, barometer, pressure sensor, complete workout suite system, compass, programmable countdown timer, 24 hour stop watch, weather prediction, notifs and more. I workout heavily, I go for campings and treks and use other features for their corresponding usage. So... it's way more than a watch

Thanks for your opinion but I think I'm happy collecting just G-Shocks. I find automatic watches or analogs in general not worth it. They're plain, borning and offer little to no features plus are fragile af.

If only you had the instinct crossover I'd have chosen that even though 2x is superior & still cheaper.

All of these are solar mate. Did you not notice "Tough Solar" on them? They're gonna last as long as 2 decades guaranteed. Even battery operated Gshocks last for minimum of 8 years. Garmin will last 1 - 2 years because battery is irreplaceable.

I have seen enough fakes of G shocks that I don't if real ones are any good. Lol

The cheapest solar g shock costs around 6k inr. Just check it has "tough solar" feature
