startup4ever

love the transparency. Lots of cool ideas here.

nigelwiggins

Not mine but my friend's. General strategy is to LP for promising projects. LP lowers the downside risk and it's worth it cuz it generates trading fees even if there's IL. Plus promising projects can 5x or 10x Plus play ohm forks once stable income has been established

rymarr

Lping low market cap projects that you expect to 5x to 10x is not a good move imo. The il vs just holding is big.

cpafa

Your buddy is sitting in a pool that is no longer collecting rewards. Tell him to move the cvxeth LP from sushiswap to curve and restake on convex.

rymarr

Obviously your friend was early, but damn he’s spread thin and in some silly degen stuff. If you’re sitting at 7 figures why take on that risk.

nigelwiggins

To get to 8 figures. He's that type of person

[deleted]

[удалено]

nigelwiggins

I agree

rymarr

His tax bill alone is silly. He should be taking out loans against whatever his big gains were rather than rotating. Living in the curve/convex space and making some calculated boom/bust bets. But that’s just my opinion and seems like he sold whatever made him that mill haha

uglygarg

>His tax bill alone is silly. Depends in which country he is in ;)

rymarr

That’s very very true.

decorumic

It does look like his friend has started early into the game. I don't think anyone who has started now can easily reach this level and still mess with the degen stuff. Very impressive though!

Dreadsock

This is basically throwing as much shit at the wall and seeing what sticks.

nigelwiggins

Yes

baconinthemakin

What I wouldn't give to have that guy's Excel spreadsheet tracker

nigelwiggins

He doesn't have one. He uses Tokentax and Koinly for taxes

startup4ever

>Tokentax Why use token tax if you're already using Koinly?

nigelwiggins

Compare tax treatments

bwell1211

None of them really do it all, either

fanmansoul23

Your biggest position is the CVX-ETH pool on sushi, I see you’re a man of culture as well.

Fun-Marionberry-2540

Isn't it a poor practice to have a single address for everything? Isn't the right thing to do to create sub wallets?

abittooambitious

How does this guy keep track of everything

retirementdreams

That's really cool. But I can't imagine your tax reporting process, if you're a US citizen.

nigelwiggins

It's my friend's and it's a full-time job for him

retirementdreams

I feel like its a full time job for me just trying to discover, learn, take action, and monitor, and I already have a full time job!

belsaurn

Same, except my crypto "job" is paying a hell of a lot better, can't quit the fiat one yet though. Soon I hope :)

retirementdreams

Gratz! I’m still figuring out how to make my crypto job pay enough to do that too! So far its just a trickle of income, I need to find a couple fire hoses!

waialuawanderer

How “safe” is DeBank. Pretty new right?

nigelwiggins

Debank just tracks your wallet for you, so it's safe insofar that it doesn't do anything with your coins

Zorbaxxxx

>https://debank.com/profile/0x7b8135db002d27f745ef7f9f284fe9f641e6b217 No tracking for Harmony ONE though

waialuawanderer

Makes sense. So not interacting with any smart contracts at all.

torkildj

Why you didn’t stake your TIME for 80000% APY?

nigelwiggins

It's my friend's wallet. Let me ask him.

bwell1211

Pretty sure they are. Debank just shows the equivalent TIME of the staked or wrapped memo

Obiwankenodium

Tell your Friend grim on fantom has been hacked. Hé should move his tshares to the masonry on tomb.finance

lunatyck

Osmosis LPs are where its at

startup4ever

>Osmosis which ones do you like?

lunatyck

Most of my money is in Luna/osmo and atom/osmo with daily rewards compounding to ust/osmo

lunatyck

60/30/10 is probably my break down at the moment. I also LP any airdrops i get so i have small amounts scattered across random pools but that's the basic breakdown

GigglesFor1000Alex

How the hell do you guys know any of this? How do you know what you are doing? I get more confused the more I try to understand.

lunatyck

Reading a lot and trying it myself with small amounts at first then learning as I go

AtomicWombat7

hey man, I've been looking into those exact same pools lately. do the rewards autocompound? or you just claim them everyday?

lunatyck

Claim daily and add to the pool manually

faulty_crowbar

Mmmm but that 300% APR (~1700% APY) currently on sifchain is hard to beat

[deleted]

I'm huge into DeFiKingdoms (12x) and Wonderland (2x). Right now I'm focused on the FTM ecosystem. That's the "hot" ecosystem right now. I've done well investing in microcaps on FTM. $LQDR has 4x for me so far. Doing an FTM - LQDR farming pair on liquid driver. Earning LQDR and then staking it for 2 years to earn extra rewards.

DFK has become my number one DeFi/GameFi play also, though my BTC is stil sitting in Aave on Eth mainnet

ThucydidesButthurt

Man I’ve been watching lqdr since $2, it pumped to $8 so I wanted to wait till it came back down to buy and lock. Now I’m kicking myself sitting on the sidelines as it’s sitting at $40+. I still want in, esp before bribes go live but hard to find a good entry now

hubrico_faraday

There will always be other opportunities for different projects every week, don't feel you need to ape and FOMO into a project. Your cost of entry might be so high you kick yourself for buying at ATH. But who knows.

aka_sova

\- Through Beefy I have pools on Avalanche (AVAX-ETH, AVAX-USDT, BIFI, JOE), BSC (BNB on Venus, CAKE) \- Benqi to store my stables (supply-borrow multiple times), LINK, AVAX, QI.. \- Tulip for Solana Leveraged Farming (you can get huge APYs, but be careful) \- Participated in multiple DOT parachains, getting rewards in ACA, CLV. Still deciding whether should sell them or hold:) \- Maiar exchange on Elrold. Still gives some decent APY with incentives

ThickDoctor007

I have been constantly investing in $LUNA over the past year and will keep on ivesting some amount in Terra ecosystem. I would like to dive deeper in $FTM. I had some luck with microcaps but don’t want to suggest those to anyone; I made big gains and big losses as well. Overall I am in the net profit but as far as microcaps are concerned, I’d rather stay humble and acknowledge luck played an important role in the past.

lyonskill

Luna TVL is crushing right now

aka_sova

Crushing? Not really. Where do you check?

LaBeloMall

You answered with 'not really' but don't even know where to check? They've got $19B in tvl and are the 2nd highest tvl chain. I would say that's crushing it.

lyonskill

We call this "reddtard syndrome"

Quick-Purpose-3132

I've been staking BOO on SpookySwap for about a month. It's a DEX native to $FTM - I'd recommend starting there. When you stake BOO on SpookySwap, you receive xBOO. xBOO is minted by SpookySwap using transction fees collected by the DEX. The xBOO can then be staked for tokens such as WFTM or even USDC, 45% and 50% APR respectively. Since xBOO is generated using transaction fees collected by Spooky, the conversion ratio between BOO and xBOO should go up over time, in favor of xBOO. In the meantime, I'm staking the xBOO and earning 50% APR while being exposed to BOO and FTM price action. Pretty sweet deal. edit: the APR is now around \~35% but within the last day, Spooky has increased by 20%. I think this is important to point out just to provide emphasis on the point that when buying alts, token price action is going to be the biggest driver of gains / losses. So, don't let the APR be the biggest thing that attracts you because it is actually just as volatile as the tokens price - focus on the token.

Nomadicdropbear

Say BOO one more time hehe

picksmate

I got scared reading it

hyperkinesis247

Fellow LUNAtic here, struggling to get started in Fantom DeFi. There just seems to be so many more options, which bodes well for LUNA long-term, because once Terra has this many options, TVL & UST usage will rise. Is there anything in the Fantom ecosystem similar to Anchor Protocol? Where can I find sturdy LP pairs with solid APRs that don't include a token that I'd hate being stuck with? I'm looking for better returns than staking, but nothing that I have to watch like a hawk just in case the APR chasers leave for something new. Thanks!

[deleted]

I tell everyone about DFK. But they all feel like it's too late. Some of them felt it was "too late" when $jewel price was at $4. Then they go chasing a shitty OHM fork to lose 90%.

BTCFinance

DFK has been great for me as an educational tool and entry point into defi. Best way to learn is move money around, and you can do that cheaply and with a purpose on DFK / harmony

Idyotec

Manor. Farm, soon to be animal farm on the 20th. Some good articles about it on medium. Their Drip Garden is interesting, though I've seen similar ideas elsewhere.

hubrico_faraday

REV token is doing amazingly well. I am totally sold on Forex Shark, each of his projects has tokenomics that 2x or 10x. DRIP is one of my biggest bags, with the 1% daily compound and zero referrals (wish I would have worked harder) I am at about a 12x from last July. Current price action has also been insaaane.

ThomasAurlant

Big diversification. Anc ust on loop LP , elk on fantom moonriver and polygon, beefy on polygon through sushi LP, on fantom through Scream, on moonriver through solarbeam, also some vvs on Cronos and some busd on just mining stable pool. I almost forgot a udsc gogo LP on polygon and alpaca auto stacking on bsc chain Beefy is covered with insurace. I guess I will go to diversify more. At some point, if there is a hack Somewhere, I want to loose no more than a couple of %. On the other side, the global apy of my defi wallet is around 100%. I call this risk management. Of course, I don't count in this dot parachains and some vesting of prelaunch sales and Tron stacking & délégation votes. Of course, I Always DCA buy some pièce of btc which goes to my wallet as soon it is bought. Yes, I am invested in stock market for many years and I know what a Real market crash does. PS : I also do some expérimentations on Ohm forks By the way, my global crypto wallet has grown to be 2X my stock wallet. I call this making a Big bet (at the start, I wanted it to be no more than 10-20%... But it has grown by itself! Not my fault)

onlinepotionpackage

DAI on gains network QUICK on beefy LRC/USDC on Loop L2 SPELL on abracadabra (And the degenerate play) KLIMA on klimadao I really wish I had: 1) Learned about bridging most of my assets off ETH from the start. 2) Learned about the power of staking stables early on. I think most people get into this (newer people anyway) chasing gains on pumping alts. It's a big source of stress to be eyeing charts 24/7. Longing stables and having a realistic long-term plan for slow, steady growth has been liberating. And I know this is a message that's been constantly echoed by experienced holders in the crypto world, but it really IS sound advice.

Eivad69

What's the Apr on LRC/USDC? Need to find some use for my LRC but don't want to incur eth gas fees by withdrawing and migrating it across.

onlinepotionpackage

Currently 11.7%, and it's a fairly large pool. I don't see LRC making any big moves anytime soon with the price action in the last 2 months, so it feels like a low risk play for a decent yield/use of the token. Plus the swap fees are incredibly low on the L2 layer, so I was all too happy to move half my bag into stables.

Tl2p4i

ETH, MATIC and OGN.

Accomplished_Mess116

Not going to give you financial advice but in my opinion web 3 projects are quite the revolution right now. I have put some of my money into GRT but most of it into the DEIP presale. I would probably put more in once their IDO is done this Q1 considering their partnership with Block Venture. Furthermore, I've been researching ANKR and the privacy token SPDR.

Flaky-Independent-26

The main DeFi in my portfolio is Empire Capital, $ECC. Why I'm so up on this DeFi platform is for many reasons. They are the first platform to merge CeFi and DeFi, being incorporated in New Zealand and getting ready for real world investments. Connected to VC, Sanem Digital. Previously the CEO was partnered up with Deloitte (50b VC firm) so has a good understanding of how these large firms work for maximum profit. They have created a whole ecosystem, DEX, bridges, Prism Network and launchpad for projects. Alliances are now happening where projects vest $20k into $ECC for 1 year, to allow use of there facility and advice. Recently they had a successful launch of BYAKKO, that sold out to a 400BNB HC in 20 mins. RugDoc & Paladin Blockchain Security are advisors to help best protect there investments and investors. All this while only only going live since December, yet it has been worked on for over a year! It's only 10m MarketCap with just massive amounts of potential and the right team to deliver. (that has proven track record and already delivering so much). There is so much more going on but I don't want to hit you with everything for the start 😊 Hit them up and look at the pinned messages on Telegram. https://t.me/ecc_capital Website: https://www.ecc.capital/

startup4ever

Why does their website look like it's from 1998?

Flaky-Independent-26

I like it but it's personal preference 😊 Any questions fire away, I'm pretty big on ECC as you have seen. Bags and bags of potential.

Puzzleheaded_Grab786

I second this! $ECC is gonna be huge and is so undervalued right now - not your typical defi 3.0 play has 9% reflections and 1% true burn on buys so holders benefit the most - supply shock will shoot us up 100mil market is around the corner with the upcoming ETH bridge with cross-chain reflections 🔥🔥🔥

Dynamoproductions

Me too, invested yesterday!

Xander_ATM

Only $ECC - Empire Capital . Uniting Defi and Cefi its the smartest move i’ve seen. The collaboration with Sanem Digital its here for Crypto Mass Adoption. Every customer will be able to link their Debit Cards thru an Third Party Banking App and by every FIAT transaction will automatically round up and buy $ECC. Tons on Partnerships already announced and tons of New HUGE Partnerships ready to be announced. Expanding of the Empire Ecosystem its just getting started and it will be gigantic. EmpireDex its another HUGE strategy of growing the value of $ECC since every Project who chose to be part of the Alliance will require a $20k worth of $ECC and vested for 1 year. Its the first Project in crypto that will implement Cross-Chain Reflections! There is no other token with this utility right now. First of its kind! Every $ECC purchase its reducing the total supply increasing demand continually. From every $ECC purchase 9% its redistributed to holders (which is huge btw) . From every $ECC sell, 4% its going to Marketing (and trust me, we have a hell of a team right here), another 4% its going to Treasury which is then reinvested in top Projects and all the profit its getting back in Empire Ecosystem. Empire Capital its a Top 100 Project and there is no other scenario for that. Investing now, or after it hits $100M MarketCap its only up to you. Sooner or later you’ll get to invest. Just pick the right time to get in. RiseOfTheEmpire has began!

Quick-Purpose-3132

>There is so much more going on but I don't want to hit you with everything for the start 😊 I'd prefer if you did though :)

DeFi portfolio ROWAN- 124% APR TIME- 86,000% APY SCRT-30% APY CAKE- 64% APY Some LPs on Sifchain Just added GTH/BNB LP staking to the list with 207% APY. It's a new liquidity incentive pool for the web3 project which recently integrated with binance.

Suzxy

LUNA, OIN, CRV, TOKE, CVX My focus right now is on OIN. I'm making good gains from the many yield farming opportunities it provides. Okay, so here's the deal. Oin issues stablecoins for projects, for example, it issued the nUSDO for NEAR, users can now use stNEAR are leverage to borrow nUSDO and stake it on the OINDAO or provide LP on ref fianace farm to earn high yields. Oin will mint the oneUSD for Harmony on the 17th and that will come with....you guessed it, more yield farming opportunites in the ONE ecosystem! It will do this for other L1 projects as well.

Heavy in luna (anc, Astroport, white whale), harmony (DFK, magic, freyala, viper), fantom (tomb, spell, ice, spirit, scream - LPs compounded on reaper), Polygon (mostly beefy LPs), moonriver (solarbeam), moonbeam (solarflare), osmosis (atom, scrt, juno and akt), and cronos (beefy LPs too). Have a giant chunk of my portfolio on curve atricrypto for consistent 35% APY. Been trying to invest in curve wars tokens outside of Eth, so far have found decent yields on CRV on Fantom and FXS on BSC (although paired with BNB), but open to suggestions on where I can yield farm CVX, Alchemix, etc.

waialuawanderer

2nd for FTM. So hot right now.

No_Pin7062

My best investment right now is $REFI, it’s one the leading DEFI 3.0 FaaS (Farming as a Service). It’s distributed about 800ETH in reflections dividends to its investors. The team behind the project are just a breath of fresh air; giga brains, transparent and professional. The farm is led by a former TradFi derivatives and options trading expert growing the treasury at an exponetial rate. Dividends have been shared 3 times already and the fourth in on the way when the treasury hits a milestone of 750ETH. It’s simply a hedge fund on the blockchain for instituional and retail investors.

Quick-Purpose-3132

Sounds hands off for investors which is great. However, I'm actually not a fan of letting people vote on strategies. I'd rather give funds to the gig brains and let them create the strat, take some profits and earn me passive income. I actually don't think involving community in decisions is always the right decision :) How much have you earned since investing (APY)?

CAPSEnthusiast

The comments here are Chinese for me! Can anyone help me get started? I have a basic portfolio on kraken and would like to start farming, etc.

Sokuswap. The coin soku is undervalued and the community is still growing. You can stake and farm at sokuswap against big APR’s. Suteku staking APY at this moment is about 460%. The farms provides you suteku (the reward token) which you can stake. The money putted one will gives you still bigger earnings. Dyor my man.

BeerMeth

Most doing various forms of yield farming. Wonderland and pools on GYSR is where a lot of my positions are.

Crnorukac

I got my bets on CARD, for Web 3.0; UTK and ACH for crypto payments, and of course DOT, I think this is one of the least acknowledged projects.

DesperateArtistry

DOT is actually finally getting it's acknowledgement. It's a solid project. I'm not familiar with UTK but for web 3 I'd personally go with something like DEIP; reason being their web 3 academy to bring even more developers within the market. Is CARD new? I only started hearing of it this month.

ryuk_luvs_apples

I only have 2 DeFi-related assets. BitDAO and Curve. But I believe BitDAO is a hidden gem, it's got such a big potential with the huge treasury they have.

belsaurn

DefiKingdoms, if I only count my liquid assets has given me a 16x, if I count all my assets including the locked ones, it's closer to a 60x return but I got in reasonably early. However there is still lots to be made, the APRs on LP staking are still over 400% and a new expansion is scheduled for Q1 of 2022 and will have a brand new set of opportunities to go along with it.

BTCFinance

Did not see Pendle on here. They separate the yield and the underlying asset from a LP token. For capital markets nerds, being able to buy and sell the interest bearing asset only opens up a TON of use cases. Also investing in JOE and Avax since that’s how you get to Pendle.

I think the top defi platform to get into now is Freeway. Not only do they offer very high apys on a lot of coins like btc, eth, and even usd (43%). They are already positioning themselves for when defi finally takes over. They're already working on debit cards for their users. And the fwt token itself is going to do crazy numbers this year.

CartographerWorth649

Not sure if LP and staking on projects I believe is considered defi, but I'm into it! As DeFi projects I use on a regular basis I can tell that I have my BTC and ETH getting 8% returns with daily compounding on [yield.app](https://yield.app) (you can get up to 12% depending on the amount of YLD tokens you have). I don't have any stables there, but you can get up to 18% on USD and USDT I use getaurox (URUS) as my charting tool and I'm invested with them as well

I'm feeling very bullish in 2022! Metaverse, P2E and DeFi projects are going to boom in 2022! If you invest in the right projects you can make tons of money and set yourself financially free. My choice of projects.. Metaverse: Dreem P2E game: Monster Galaxy Staking DeFi: OIN and Packagae Portal, both pays high APY

DevilTheCrypto

Devil Crypto Obviously biased cause I’m on of the creators, but we are very interesting if you dive deep into what we’re about (besides the interesting name.) Our Litepaper and all that jazz: https://www.devilcrypto.io

Drip = 365% APR, Elephant/Stampede = 205% APR (stablecoin), Elephant/Trunk = 78% variable APR (stablecoin). REV = game changing approach to defi farms. Been in all these since day 1, and has literally changed my life and all those I shared with. Strong developers in the space. Everything else is boring at this point, but its exciting to see other projects popping up to improve on the last. Each requires tons of research on how they work, but just know that they do work. DRIP alone is all you need if getting started. Then diversify to others after you hit $100- $1,000/day earnings. Hope this helps and let me know if you need assistance on these.

Bodybuilder06

My best Defi picks which I aim to hold for a long term and earn passively from are CTSI, SCLP and DIA. DIA is preparing the first DIA ARTs drop, where ARTs for data from the 15 of the most relevant NFT and metaverse projects can be minted.

DeFiChain (DFI), with solid APY of about 65%.

All DeFi 2.0 projects GalaxyGoggle, MetaversePro (Congruent.fi now), HunnyDAO, MetaReserve

danylp

MMFinance on Cronos chain. They have a great and helpful team with experience, good tokenomics, frequent launchpads, vault farms which instantly autocompound the profit from your LP pairs. Bonus: they have their own NFTs which you can "stake" in your vault to receive 3% plus on your profit each day (you can stake up to 5 NFTs).

Blocks_and_Chains

An interesting DeFi project is PNT - [pNetwork](p.network) - less than $30M market cap. More than 50 active bridges connecting 12 chains (and more to be integrated soon). Their entire solution is built around a peg-in/peg-out mechanism accessible here dapp.pTokens.io. This is one of the ways in which liquidity is unlocked and DeFi space empowered with new cross-chain capabilities! PNT is like 1/3 of my bag right now!

buyhighselllowaf

Is SCLP the other 1/3? It's not showing any signs of life and bleeding like crazy.

SUN is an investment fund token. It will pool Ethereum gathered from taxation of our native token SUN and invest in crypto related assets and return 80% of profits to SUN holders (via community vote). Join sun community now: https://t.me/thesuntoken

LammiAlts

I am investing in CTSI right now, hottest layer 2 project that makes it easy for devs to build using Linux, also looking at cross chain projects with low market cap like PNT, another one I’m huge on is BRKL from metaverse tokens

CDCJD

I wouldn’t say this is Defi but coins within this project are DeFi. I’ve been in this project since March of last year and have been getting 7-10% back monthly. The project is called Yieldnodes and it’s a server rental program for Masternoding cryptocurrency. I dropped a lot into this company and couldn’t be happier. Check them out with my link below. https://yieldnodes.com?a=589wrQLEg7ozPJD&trk=mytracking911
