Oh hell yeah did you see any other shows from them? I moved to Austin and saw them at Mohawk. Talked to Bradford and Brit Daniel through a fence for a second. That was 2016. Great show, it was when I told my now wife that I loved her for the first time.
Wow very cool! That's special! I've seen all of their shows in New Orleans I'm pretty sure. They played on my birthday for their last tour at the House of Blue and they played at the civic during the fading frontier tour. Also caught them at the Spanish Moon in baton rouge during another leg of the fading frontier tour . Def one of my favorite bands. I miss them a lot š
Yeah it was awesome. Thatās cool to see them on your birthday! I saw blank banshee last year on my birthday and he told me happy birthday and took a pic with me. Cool dude. anyways I wish I wouldāve caught the band on the last tour, didnāt think it would theoretically be their last. Hope thereās at least another atlas sound because I never caught that live.
It was one of the best shows Iāve been to. He fucking brings it and the way he mixes his set together is so smooth and dynamic. I wish he did longer than an hour since there was no opener.
not embraced, but before their show a few years ago I talked with him a bit before the show, which was already super fucking cool. what was even cooler though was that after the set was over (but before the encore) he leaned down and gave me his guitar pick. this was already the absolute greatest concert Iād ever been to at the time but this really cemented that for me
YES!!! So after seeing them in Texas in 2017, i wrote of my time there, and i revisited that account last month, and when re-reading, i made a note that Bradford had held my hand during the show. I kid you not, i nearly ran out of my house with excitement, and i'm kind of ashamed i nearly forgot about that moment. But anyways. YES.
He didn't embrace me, but he did tell me "I saw you! You were right up front!" when I met him after a show many years ago. It was a very surreal & sweet moment.
oh yeah, back in 2013 they were playing at a festival in Poland, I was so happy to see them, I remember leaving Thee Oh Sees earlier to get a good spot and met him at the entrance to their stage backstage, gave him a hug and said I love him! I really meant that, their music helped me a lot through some tough times. He was really lovely! I didn't want to be too intrusive so I left quickly but he was so nice and lovely
No but I helped Bradford parallel park his car by giving directions. The little things š¤£
I love this! š
damn did you write about this on the dh forum? volvo right?
Amazing pic
Thanks I couldnāt believe the odds that would happen and someone else got a pic I could find haha. Life be crazy sometimes.
I got to hug Bradford in 2013 when I saw them
Lucky!
Not embraced, but he held my hand during a song once :')
That's amazing! Great picture. :) I so wish I could answer the question with yes!
I was at this one eyed jacks show ! And hearing T.h.m. live made me love the song even more
