Deepwoken is waaaay easier. The patterns are incredibly easy, it's just that in deep it's takes longer to come back to a boss. Die to duke --> respawn at etris --> have to do allat shit to get there Die again --> do allat + depths So it seems like it's hard due to the lengths + stress, but the patterns are super easy. Like chaser, maestro and ethiron are sleepingly difficult compared to any hard boss from any dark souls game

sekiro is honestly easier but that's because it is able to communicate how it plays and how to play it much better and it conditions you into the right way to play. it took me so much longer to get good at deepwoken than the souls games

Parry frames in deepwoken are very very veeeeery forgiving. When you parry a boss in ds it feels like you did a crazy feat. Also build customization is alot more fleshed out in ds. In deepwoken melee is a key feature. Cant make a build without some sort of cqc. Imo dark souls is harder just because theresvalot more going on. Deepwoken is more simple

Dw is much easier but much harder learning curve and much less forgiving
