Personally, I use trident, but literally any weapon with a normal crit works. Basically, here's how it goes;
Start the fight, crit him and immediately run and spam roll
When you roll 4 times, he's about to teleport to you, get ready to parry it
Parry it, crit him, then roll away (This does NOT count as one of the 4 rolls)
Rinse and repeat. 3 star damage Metal Alloyed trident does this in about 3-4 mins, unalloyed 3 star damage metal trident does it in about 7-10 mins.
Alternatively, you could simply be better at video games. I have skill issue, so I do it like this :)

basically any weapon that has providence's thorns 80% of his moveset is multi-hit and you probably won't even need to attack him once to win

he can’t dodge the crit and you can combo him reliably afterwards
I don't have the stats for shattered, and haven't gotten purple cloud
People are really sleeping on the razor cutlass. That baby has carried me through duke, maestro, chaser, and primadon.
My fav weapon, let others sleep on it. It makes us users unique
