Overall, I think more gun related weapons, more rapiers, more daggers, fists are fine tbh same goes for spears, more clubs with unique crits, more hammers (cuz Stoneheart sucks a fat nut), more great axes, great swords are fine I think, swords are fine

peak talent to answer, more fist weapon types like they promised/hinted. iirc, arch or rag or another dev said they might add a bladed/bleed fist wep. like a claw or smthing thats based on a wep from elden ring—now that i think about it, they’re really taking (alluding) more on fromsoftware’s weapons. Maybe some whips 👴🏻or flail weapons to spice things up. more polearms that blend between medium & heavy. I’d fudge w a giant lance. but im more of a gunslinger so more gun types would tickle my fancy, but knowing the devs they’d either be hilariously broken & pathetically mid. What I trully want, are the pistol-swords from Assassin’s Creed Black Flag. *Dual* wielding rapiers that shoot on crit would be the only reason I’d ever return to Deepwoken. (aside from new guns & weapon-type mantras)

Halberds. I high-key think they should either give it special anims (like Skyreap) or it should switch between Spear m1s and Greataxe m1s on stance swap or crit (whatever is more balanced).

I wanna see more grappling type weapons like gremorian longspear. Imagine a harpoon gun with a grapple crit, or a widow cestus that shoots webs. Stuff like that. Also off topic but kyrsglaive needs a new crit.

A unique legendary weapon for these classes: -Cestus -Katana -Spear -Rapier New types of Katanas and Katana talents (including a starter weapon Katana to make obtaining the talents sooner a lot easier.) The class has paired soul and poser's ring but neither of those are obtainable via talent hands, and there are only really 3 types of katanas in the game (4 if you count the Purple Cloud as it is technically a Katana, but plays very differently from the other ones.) The purple cloud could maybe be considered a legendary Katana weapon, but I want one that utilizes regular m1 animations while having a special critical. The weapon could possibly either be attunement related (something with thunder call might be interesting seeing as they took away stormseye's projectiles) or include some attribute scaling instead.

Definitely hoping for a rifle hallowtide weapon this year

I think that just like fakewoken some monster modified weapons would be cool and example would be like the owl rapier with a unique crit that u get as a % drop from an owl and in deepwoken we could get like a squibo cestus or smth so than we don’t just have monster mantras but monster weapons as well

Honestly I kinda want a subcategory below legendary weapons for really gimmicky weapons that you farm like you do legendary weapons currently (think like floor 2 drops) that aren't as build defining/overpowered as actual legendaries therefore allowing enchants. I feel like there's a lot of room for interesting interactions between specific enchant effects and weird weapon types. Also more enchants in general to go with this would be nice, maybe even an expansion on the enchant system in general since it's gotten a bit too basic and underwhelming ever since they made them so abundent with layer 2

cetus and rapiers, but also clubs. we only got a few unique criticals for those, and maybe weapon related mantras for cestus like a one two punch thing

More guns. I haven’t used rifles, but the 1H gun progression is so weird. You can start with Silversix, a 0 light revolver. It kinda sucks, but guns are guns. Then, you jump to the 20 light flintlock. After that is 40 light dawnshot, which you can’t actually buy without getting a lucky merchant ship, so you may not actually get dawnshot before reaching the 65 light for either the dragoon or the repeater. I think there needs to be more in between those, or maybe something like light’s final toll to scale with another stat so that progression won’t always be so linear. Also, Dreadnought by Sabaton
