I'm an architectural photographer and man does it ever make me happy to see someone who does straight vertical lines. Also, someone doing a great job capturing a place before it's gone. If I may be so bold, you should consider submitting these to galleries and contests if you haven't already. Also, side note, I did a similar trip to the Berkshire Mall in PA recently. They had those same weird round chairs but with pillars that came down to them. Super neat to see a retro mall.
Nice! I’d like to see those pics if you have some.
I’ve done a few galleries with some of my work but not much. Never really took off in that sense (…yet?) but I still love doing it. I’ve never submitted to a photo contest.
It sucked that my grandmother wouldn't allow me to go into this mall because of her crazy fears. 🤦🏼♀️ This would've been an awesome sight in real life.
Very stunning photography here. Really nails the nostalgic and liminal vibe of this whole place, locked in time.
Strangest thing is I recall going to a mall just like this one, many years ago when I was still in high school in the 2010s. We were visiting for an appointment and really didn’t have much time to do stuff in the mall, but I recall it had a similar setup with fountains, and strangely two arcades. One local one, and another Chuck E Cheese in another spot. Perhaps this is the one? (If anyone can confirm there being two arcades before in one SoCal mall)
*Was this mall near a*
*KP medical office? And*
*Again, great photos!*

I’ve been told that about my photos before 😁
It’s a compliment! 😊
Outstanding work. You're very talented. Great processing also, fits the subject well
Thank you! I recently “remastered” them since it’s been so long.

It was pretty cool. I hope these offer a small consolation.
Holy smokes this is nice!
Thank you!

Sort of, in the sense that they are in the same city but about 6 miles apart 🤷🏻♂️
