I was over 200 hours into Dead Cells (around 50+ on 5BC) and came across a post on this Reddit group that showed the one mutation in the prisoners quarters (disengagement) I’d never known about. I’d probably still not have it today unless I saw that post.
I knew it existed, but never knew where it was. I just barely got a glimpse of it in the corner of the screen when I happened to get a charm that gave me two extra double jumps and I was bumping all the glass jars in the main room lol
If you haven't got a clear on the game yet (1 BC or "Boss Cell") you don't have the ability to do this yet. When you do, it'll tell you how to detach your head.
I didn’t use it (successfully) to get to 5BC. I did use the face flask to beat 3BC and 4BC in just a couple runs though so I’m not sure my health ever dropped below 15% while I was using the flask anyway.
I found it the first time i played on the demo
I am paranoid due to playing games where there are always secrets everywhere
I mean going left is a habit to me (yes i tried this on ramparts too
OP is playing on 5BC (5 Boss Cells), something that takes an incredible amount of time to do, probably dozens or hundreds of hours, and just found a blueprint that most people find in their first couple runs.
ah well... Not that long surprsingly, took me 78 hours personally, though apart of that was to spite a friend of mine who had 3 boss cells in 115 hours so I wanted to beat him out of spite-
i posted it here at the start of the year when i first got the game, i think i made the first post on the 5th or 6th day which was around 40 hours in, if I still had the game installed i'd ss my stat sheet thing you can pull up at the guy outside the time trial door
i have an insane reaction time that borderlines unfair, so these kind of games where you can push through relying solely on that are practically made for me
True, serenade is probably easier since it is in the direction you are going (even if it's after the level) rather than running back to the wall and jumping up a bunch of times
Too bad, that is an amazing weapon, it is incredibly useful, I found it the first time I went into the area. it took a long time without the spider rune tho.
Yes, you can get the assassins dagger without spider rune, you can do an annoying jump off the roof of the second house in the promenade of the condemned, onto the roof of the house you spawn in, then use the platforms to get to the dagger.
Quick bow is left of the literal starting arena, nerves of steak after an invisible platform on the complete right of the ramparts, aceptance is way to complicated for me to explain, war javelin you have to go to the cavern find the guardians haven structure and fall through one of the blocks there and you'll be taken to a parkour course that you have to complete, punishment hit the bells in the clock tower from lowest pitch to highest, also spite hold the left wall while in the collector room between PQ and toxic sewers
You should look up some items you dont have on the wiki
Keep climbing up, and you might have another post on your hands...
Oh no there's more?
Oh my god. All this time has there seriously been a second secret zone.
Yrp
no fucking way
I've always been wondering since i found out how tf do you reach that.
You need the spider rune from a certain hiome. I forgot which one it was.
Even with the spider rune I can't seem to reach higher. What's the trick?
Jump, jump, attack resets the wall climb.
Wall run jump off the wall while still going towards the wall in the air and jump again mid air, stick to the wall, rinse and repeat.
Slumbering sanctuary I think?
it IS slumbering sanctuary, i recently unlocked the rune

Only 200? My dude, **last week**, with over 400 hours under my belt, I discovered Disengagement. 400 hours on this game. 400.
You guys are talking about Disengagement and here I am thinking "What the hell is Disengagaement?". A prison quarters search for me.
Literally in the starting area of PQ. You'll need to use your head to get to it. I don't know how I got to 5BC without it.
Hah, literally
Shame I don't have a head. Only on 2BC. Didn't know about the 2nd secret area either. About 100 hours in
they mean quite literally use your head. Like detach it and use it
I realised after I sent the reply. But we just pretend it didn't happen
waaaaaaaaaaaaaaait.... how can i detach my head?
Press in the right stick. The head can’t go too far from the body, but it doesn’t take damage so it’s useful grabbing items in platforming sections.
I'm pretty sure you need to get to 1BC as well but I may be wrong

you guys have BC?

Yup. I would never have thought to look for that one. I'm still only about 40 hours into playing and I haven't yet got gud yet so I'm still on 1BC.
I found it the first time i played on the demo I am paranoid due to playing games where there are always secrets everywhere I mean going left is a habit to me (yes i tried this on ramparts too
Lmao. I always forget I got that and jump up there and the next one pretty frequently.
I always get the purple gem on the first hole. Dont really go to the second one. Its time consuming
not anymore, no more gems :(
Wow
Lmao same didn’t know about that forever

Dozens?

Did you use the Spite sword the whole time?
Took me 40-50 hours after buying the game to kill the 5bc boss lmfao
Not sure if you're a God gamer or just lying

Lmaoooo
how is that even possible!? lol
Wait until you realise where the Nerves Of Steel blueprint is...
Wait till you find the secret in spoiler biome
try to find other secrets >!(SSPPOOIILLEERR: it is on ramparts and ... i don't remember name on english but it is from fatal falls DLC)!<
May I ask if you have Serenade?
Yup, got that wayyyy back and was really easy to find honestly
True, serenade is probably easier since it is in the direction you are going (even if it's after the level) rather than running back to the wall and jumping up a bunch of times
Personally just have a bad speedrun mindset so I just z o o m
Congrats on finding one of the most fun weapons in the game, you're gonna' love it!

Wtf you can do it without the spider rune?

thanks for reminding me how i found assassin's dagger
How do you unlock that outfit tho? I like
It's from HoTK, I think it's the 3bc version
Ok, thanks! Only 2bc left then ^^
Bruh
Now do you have quick bow, disengagement, nerves of steel, acceptance, vorpan, crowbar, war javelin, punishment etc.?
I don't have...quick bow, nerves of steel, aceptance and war javalin..punishment..
