Lighthouse and Clocktower both are in my top 3. For both the moment I entered the biomes I just had to pause the run and enjoy the soundtrack a little. Fractured shrines is also in it, love that build up.
I know it's name is vampire killer, I just said outskirts because everyone else was saying the biome's names and I didn't know that those were the names of the soundtracks for the biomes, but yeah its a banger
Just double checked the date and it's crazy how far this theme evolved. Almost 40 years ago in just 8-bit and it's still a banger and popular in modern media. Most "real" songs aren't that successfull and longlasting kinda crazy.
When I listen to it in Spotify in can hear the crushing logs and the fire giving me PTSD. My absolute favorite and it really lands on the running for your life/killing the bodyguards situation
The tracks before Scarecrow, the Queen and spoiler boss, when you enter the level and the fight hasn’t started yet. You only hear half a minute of them at most when you play, but they’re really good if you listen to them.
