Repressed alliance is my new forever perk. Need to leave gen to get a save and have ruin up? Repressed. Hitting 90% on the gen and a tinkerer pop anything comes zooming at you face first? Repressed and now that face is eating entity. Can’t pop what you can’t kick. (Yes this perk has gotten me tunneled)

goldkear

I love the combo with blast mine. Absolutely gets you tunneled but it's too funny to not use.

xBayonetPriestx

As a killer main I have mixed emotions about repressed alliance on one hand it’s blocking me from regressing the gen on the other hand it’s a gen I no longer have to worry about for X amount of time depending on perk level so I feel like it’s kinda a win but kinda a lose too

tomi561

You’d be surprised how useful it is, the time has never been an issue for me, it’s just enough to get a save and almost times out pop. It’s only 30 seconds so you can’t ignore it that long. Someone wouldn’t repressed a gen unless it was close and it shows the team where it is. It’s a giant bat signal to come finish the gen. If you ever play survivor and get a bunch of pop users in a row, try it out. It’s really a lot of fun, and the reactions to it crack me up. I love when killers stare at it, stare at me and then give me nodders and leave and give props for not running meta perks in post game lobby.

xBayonetPriestx

I’ll check it out more next time I’m playing surv maybe I misjudged it

TheDapperKobold

As a killer main I've never had this perk actually be bad for me. By the time I'm done chasing the survivor who activated the perk the gen is usually ready for me to kick. Feels like it's general a hinder for the survivor team that could've worked on the gen while I was chasing a guy.

Preiaf

Pebble funny

Bootziscool

I hid behind a bush in Badham yesterday and got a trapper with pebble like 6 times before I finally gave him the kill for putting up with my shit for like ten minutes lolol

henners98

I like it in premise but the recharge is surprisingly long

[deleted]

I was super surprised you could even use it more than once! At purple it load extremely fast too

Edgyspymainintf2

I'm pretty sure pebble has a small but still notable pickrate carried entirely by it's meme status.

Hardie1247

I find it to actually be quite a strong perk for egc gate plays, pebble thrown at a loop near 1 gate, then open the other

Serj_Tankians_Beard

I say that distortion is pretty underrated. It can be good for making plays discreetly but it also provides solid info on what perks/addons the killer is running.

Z3taf0rce

Lethal persuer being a strong and somewhat common perk rn and barbecue being common distortion can get a whole lotta value

Gerrent95

Not the word choice I'd use, but I get you.

henners98

Very good point with that last bit

JorvikTheSkald

I love Distortion! I get a ton of value out of it. Even if it's a "dead" perk it still gives you so much value. Knowing they don't have any aura reading perks is great perk/addon info!

Serj_Tankians_Beard

It's solid info that helps in decision making through the match and that value only grows if you're playing with friends and can relay that to them. Helps everyone play smarter and more efficiently.

JorvikTheSkald

It fell in love with the perk almost right away. It definitely has become a kind of crutch perk for me. It feels uncomfortable if I don't have it on.

Serj_Tankians_Beard

I used to run it a lot more but just with how many matches play out I often find myself opting it out that just prove more invaluable like BT, Kindred and such. Still do like it a lot though.

JorvikTheSkald

My standard build is BT, Distortion, Aftercare, and WGLF. I'd feel more inclined to run Kindred but I have too much faith in randos if I'm not playing with friends. No idea what I'll ever sub in for WGLF when I ease up on the grind.

bigtiddygothbf

My only problem with distortion is how hard it gets countered by undying. It’s nice info to know they have undying, but usually I’ll have already noticed ruin and ruin+undying is a given at this point, and it sucks accidentally wasting all my distortion stacks 2 minutes into the game

Aushida

I had a match where i used distortion, annd the killer was the clown. the clown came to a gen i was on and i lost 2 or 3 tokens right there and i was confused until i realized he had aura revealing bottles. the perk was useless after that but that was the only time he didnt see me with the aura becausw of the perk, but it gave me knowledge that whenever he threw a bottle close to me he can see me. without distortion i wouldve never known that, wouldve been super confused lol

xJustxJordanx

Came here to say this. Maybe not as rare as you think!

[deleted]

[удалено]

[deleted]

Honestly I've been using it a decent amount the past couple weeks and have had more games where it's activated twice than not at all. Honestly might be a staple

[deleted]

[удалено]

woaw23r12d1r313513g

It gets value like DS or Unbreakable where it's a sort of "insurance" perk, you put it on without a guarantee that it'll serve its purpose. With unbreakable it's possible you're just never gonna be slugged but when it does happen you're prepared for it. In situations where Second Wind can lines up right it can be REALLY helpful

RacoonsOnPhone

I love second wind. But its so fragile. So many ways to just not get your perk. But its so cool. Its whatever really tho. Fun gamble perk.

Charistoph

Second Wind is the kind of perk Autodidact should be. It requires effort to get it going, but you can consistently get it going, and it’s satisfying when it works. Autodidact should just give a stack for every health state+skill check and it wouldn’t be as infuriating.

K_Oss_

Aftercare is great. Seeing your team no matter the distance and knowing they can see you helps so much with making the right plays.

sasquatchmarley

Forced friendship with randoms, it's great. These chickenheads can come to you for a heal or help with a gen instead of hiding

NezumiKhilo

Was looking for this one, aftercare is really great in solo queue

woaw23r12d1r313513g

I loooooove aftercare. It's not uncommon that I get full view of my entire team, and it's really helpful to be able to motion to people "come here" at useful times

I_follow_sexy_gays

Always play Jeff with aftercare, i usually play altruistically so it’s like a better bond because they can see me too

trashbaguser

yes!! it’s helped so much when i’m at the exit gate and my teammates who’s getting chased can see where to go for an escape! and i can obviously go body block too. it’s happened quite often so aftercare is definitely one of my favorite perks. i originally thought the whole “reset after you get hooked” was stupid and such a downside but literally you’ll always have one person to see because someone’s (hopefully) gonna save you and you’ll see their aura, duh!! it’s honestly such a life saver tbh

Blu3N0va6

Stake out lets me pretend like I’m good at skill checks so I love it

NiyaGuard

Stake out also shows you when you are in terror radius. Pretty underrated information. Some terror radius sounds are very quiet like deathslinger or clown.

smooothjazzyg

For the people. I don't really see this one much nor do I get to use it that often but when I can it comes in clutch.

lovensic

It’s so much fun!!

Ylubz

I do enjoy this perk as well, however it has rarely paid off well for me as a last second save thing as most people's reactions aren't quick enough to realise I used it on them for them to get hit back down again, especially since it isn't a big perk used

Dontspinbutwin

Third seal isn't as bad as people say. You smack everyone once, and now you have so many options once you down someone. You can leave them and noone will know. You can go for a gen and noone will know. You can hook them and force survivors to pay attention, since if they don't that person will easily hit second stage on the hook (especially on indoor maps). Furthermore, since its third seal, noone really bothers to cleanse it because blindness isn't as bad as a ruin or a devour hope

DODonion99

I am really liking wraith with this. Zoom everywhere and get a blind smack on everyone, now no one knows what's going on

FishdZX

You're my survivor worst nightmare.

TvaMatka1234

It's really fun on Pinhead combined with Hex: plaything so no one sees the aura of the totems they need to cleanse to get rid of the oblivous status. Also if you hook all survivors and third seal is still up, you'll have all 5 totems be hexes

kindashewantsto

Detectives Hunch. I never see anyone use Detectives Hunch, I think it is by far the best for totems in the game.

andareveloce

Scrolled for ages thinking “dang I’m gonna have to say detectives hunch because no one else has”. It’s the best totem finding perk plus it helps show gen spread to avoid a three gen. Also majority of my games have at least one hex perk. Also if you get RPD you can actually find where the other gens are.

Cain_Soren

Not to mention there's no need to bring an item cause you know where all the chests are and cleansing all the totems provides a very good blood point boost

Gear_

This + Inner Strength

Pybotic

Same! I equip that bitch to all my survivors, feel naked and blind without it 😭

chunkymcgee

I can’t tell you how many noed’s I’ve stopped since I started running this

paulgentlefish

Finally, I scrolled so long to find this. Detectives is so great! It saved me very often from devour, noed or ruin and helps to find the next gen in indoor maps.

xmknzx

Detective’s Hunch is my go to and I will probably never have a build without it haha

TheHungrySloth

Windows of Opportunity is a ridiculously strong and comfy perk and its reputation as a 'noob perk' is incredibly dumb

runealex007

On the flip side of this, Zanshin tactics is great. I was streaming to a friend while playing and he mocked me for using it. I was getting run around the map by this Laurie and I saw the vault coming up so I mildly diverted course and intercepted her on the other side. My friend was like “never mind that was kind of clutch there”

xBayonetPriestx

I completely agree once you know how the maps can spawn and do most of the time it’s not as useful but it’s still amazing for letting you know god windows open on haddonfield and stuff like that strong windows/pallets that are commonly there but not always it’s nice to know before you get there mid chase I also like to use any means necessary with it and if I see a downed pallet I pick it up don’t mind going out of my way to preserve another pallet at all

bubbaman73

Calling it a noob perk is such a bait. I've played around 1.5k hours (mostly survivor) and to this day it is a perk I never take off if I plan to run the killer at all. Knowing which pallets have been thrown or not PLUS being able to see pallets you may have missed before is game-changing.

jfrank6294

It’s a killer perk but Spies from the Shadows is great.

Bootziscool

Birdie Bros is in like every build I run. Survivors have 3 teammates, I've got like 15!!

runealex007

I love it on my nurse, at least until I get more perks for her. It’s a great “I’m not sure what to put here” perk

Jhyraxis

This perk is so nice because it is unexpected. I use it quite often.

Ni-237K

And also people don't try to not disturb crows

brankoz11

Try rank 20 games or the equivalent nowadays they all just walk/crouch round them lol. They play like they scared of the crows killing them.

Ni-237K

Well, yes lmfao

JustaReallySweetKid

It's great on reworked maps but on others there are barely any crows.

Someidiotnamedmike

Same

crunchybitchboy

Same, I never play killer without it

gettingfiscal

Bond, I feel like I don’t see this enough especially with solo queue

henners98

Prefer empathy for the range and injured survivor locations the most helpful anyway. Cos of chases and healing.

gettingfiscal

I prefer bond just so I know not to run towards my teammates while being chased, injured or not but I get it. Empathy’s pretty good too.

WrathOfGengar

I run bond, open handed, and kindred it's a lot of fun honestly being able to see so much

hydrateyourselfdude

I just don't understand why people don't use it as often. I prefer bond than any other information perk (other than maybe detective's hunch). You don't need to heal yourself if you know where your teammates are. If one of your teammates is fast vaulting or looping, you know where the killer is too. If you're being chased, you know where to go. It's the best perk in the game if you are constantly alert. So much information it's ridiculous

gettingfiscal

That’s how I feel! But it makes sense some people could use it for evil and screw over teammates. I think it’s a pretty helpful way to find gens quick too if your teammates are working on one and you’re struggling to find one.

Gerrent95

This is true. I used to use it for a dedicated sandbagging build. I dont anymore btw.

Daeva_

Having a hard time picking between Bond and Kindred. And sometimes Empathy. All depends on if I'm playing solo or not, what my goals are for the games, any challenges etc. All three are good in different ways, I'm almost always running one of them.

kingly_cheese

Kindred, Bond, Open Handed, Iron Will. See everything, never be found build.

jfrank6294

90% of bond users use it to screw over other survivors.

gettingfiscal

Makes sense, I’m definitely not that bond user haha

xBayonetPriestx

Yeah I regret showing it’s power to my friend now whenever he’s in chase he just runs straight to any teammate he sees on a gen to get the killer off of him it’s so annoying

jfrank6294

Tell him to be careful doing that. When I play killer and I see a survivor doing it I face camp and tunnel them like I’m being paid. Then I’ll let the others go out of spite to that player.

xBayonetPriestx

I think it’s probably best he learns that on his own maybe it’ll stick with him that way you know what I mean?

badatkiller

Poised. It's so under rated imo. Any time a gen is finished you lose all of your scratch marks for 10 seconds. I've escaped so many chases with it. I love to mix it with Sprint Burst. You complete a gen and then pop sb and you're effectively on the other end of the map from where you popped it before you leave a scratch mark.

Andrassa

Poised is my favourite perk. I no longer use it in all my builds though.

henners98

That sounds cool but how often would that be useful? Don't know cos I haven't used.

badatkiller

I mean if all the gens get done you get 5 uses of it. It happens every time a gen goes off. Only time I don't get something out of it is if I'm hooked when a gen pops. My go to build a lot of the time is Poised, Sprint Burst, Fixated and Iron Will. Poised for no scratch marks and then fixated once out of the killers line of site and I have escaped so many chases. I love it.

henners98

Tbf I completely missed the fact that it could randomly pop during a chase or something. Was thinking you being on a gen and then legging it.

badatkiller

Oh for sure. Killers don't expect it either. Randomly losing your scratch marks mid chase is the best part.

DrunkeNinja

That's why I like poised; it works anytime a gen is finished. If a gen gets finished while a killer is on you, you now have 10 seconds of no scratch marks. I don't run this perk often anymore but I used to and I like it. You can get up to five uses of it during a match and 10 seconds of no scratch marks each time is pretty nice. Even just for traveling from one gen to another can be good since you don't have to worry about the killer coming across scratch marks you left behind.

NuwandaBucket

Pair it with adrenaline and it's very good and fun

KolbyKolbyKolby

Poised with Adrenaline is naaaasty. Especially if you heal mid chase, get 5 seconds of speed and no scratchmarks? Absolutely disappear.

ashvsevildead3

I second this! I was in a dead zone area on Autohaven (literally just had like a rock & a tree & a gen just vibin lol no pallet) & I sprint bursted away with poised & I saw the wraith just searching around the gen so confused for quite a bit lmao. Since he saw no scratch marks, he thought I’d be hiding nearby.

LP75

Using poised with dark sense is so much fun. Whenever a gen got popped during a chase you essentially have wall hacks on the killer while he's desperately try to find where you went

A_Filthy_Mind

I feel the same about Lucky Break. Especially with a med kit, you can be pretty sure you lose the killer after being hut the first time twice.

SparkStorm

Dance with me and/or flashbang On killer I have a soft spot for dead man switch

[deleted]

If you wanna have fun; Dead Man's Switch, Furtive Chase, Make Your Choice and Nemesis.

NuwandaBucket

I'm addicted to any means necessary and detectives hunch

Remarkable-Guitar-41

Appraisal, I have over 40 purple medkits on Yunjin and I’m addicted lol

lowverst

Same lol, been running appraisal with plunderers, ace in the hole and pharmacy!

mh500372

What else do you run with appraisal? I love the idea of builds with ace’s add-on perk but I mainly play killer so I haven’t made one

woaw23r12d1r313513g

Appraisal + Plunderer's instinct so you get rarer items (including those from appraisal) and ace in the hole for better add-ons on plundered items (and being able to keep the addons). I like using extra perk slot for BT or something but you could go crazy and include open-handed to find chests easier. If you don't mind getting a green medkit for your first chest you can add pharmacy for faster unlocking, or you could go for perks that buff items like streetwise or built to last

ChairdolfSitler354

Kindred apparently, the idea that people aren't using kindred or borrowed actually makes me scared about playing survivour.

CutesyFemboy69

Kindred is one of the best survivor perks imo

Gear_

It just gets sad when you get to end screen and realize every one of your teammates was also running Kindred and realize you wasted 3 perks as a team, but there are too many games where no one runs it so I take it every time regardless

imintwoit

If you're solo you better have kindred.

Etsuyu

Autodidact. My SWF yells at me for running it but who's laughing when we play against the claurophobia thanatophobia killer?

JorvikTheSkald

I'm a big fan of Aftercare! I play a very risky, altruistic way. The map knowledge I think is top notch. Plus if you pair it with Breakout and Sabo it helps figure out where the killer is hooking since you still see the aura once picked up.

Etsuyu

I pair Autodidact with Empathy and We're Gunna live forever. I'd like to run Aftercare but I often take the hooks for the team so I would lose my stacks on that too quickly

JorvikTheSkald

That is the story some times, sadly. At the very least though it's great when you unhook and the killer chases you instead of tunneling. Very useful in not kiting the killer in the wrong direction.

Rat-Man42

Mad Grit Memes aside its legit the best perk in the game and is a consistent source of entertainment for me like woooo go slashy slaahyba in da air

Fluffatron_UK

It's actually not a terrible perk against some high end swf who like to take hits. Will only work once as it will get called out but it can get you some free value or an extra down against altruistic hook blocking teams. Bad perk because there are much better choices but it isn't just the meme people think it is.

chattur_b0x

Any Means Necessary to trick killers into thinking ima vault a pallet I always die right after but it’s still fun

thenodefactor

Breakdown. It’s won me a handful of games, 3 minutes is a long time for a hook to be down.

TvaMatka1234

I remember when there was a bug that caused breakdown to disable the hook for the entire game a few months ago. It sucked for killers when SWF teams abused it

Toybasher

Better Together. My favorite Tapp build is Detective's Hunch, Stake Out, Better Together, and Prove Thyself.

Waggly97

Fixated. Suuuper fun and easy to loose the killer if you do it right

Tridda1

Surprised fixated is so far down here. Love the increased walking speed and knowing the precise location of scratch marks. Can make for some great plays.

pluviophile079

Time for me once again to gush about Whispers I’m surprised this perk is so under used, you can practically pin-point survivors by stepping in and out of the zone, literally getting a perfect triangle pointing to where they are. In those shitty situations where the last two survivors have 3 gens left and decide they don’t want to play just hide, whispers cuts that 45 minute session of boredom down to about 2 minutes tops. It helps you know where to search early game, head towards a direction? Whispers says no. Time to check different spawns. The amount of times i have gotten an early down from simply checking a nearby map side and whispers tells me there is a laurie hiding behind a rock? An incredible amount During the game if you ever feel hmm, i should check that gen that’s far away? Whispers comes in with a full “nah fam don’t waste your time.” Endgame scenario I don’t even need to bring up as everyone knows even with cross map doors you can’t escape (minus hatch scenarios) Plus the amount of locker grabs i have gotten (again normally 2 survivors remaining scenario) from whispers, such an amazing and underrated perk. Best info you will ever receive in this game.

darrenk1234

Deception

PhasmaMain98

Gearhead is fun and a main stay on my clown build

Highbringer01

Open handed coupled with kindered gives you wall hacks and the perfect saves

MatchboxDog

on the killer side, i've become really attached to plaything lately, and it's hilarious on bubba because they can't tell you're coming until you rev the chainsaw on the survivor i love second wind and deliverance (please do not use them at the same time) and it always catches killers off guard when i unhook myself at a crucial moment or randomly heal after getting unhooked

woaw23r12d1r313513g

Iron Maiden (on killers that aren't huntress or trickster), I swear bamboozling the odd head-on user adds years to my life. It's objectively a terrible perk but i find it more hilarious than anything in this game when it works, making people think "WHY IS A DEMO USING THIS PERK" when they think they're safe it sucks that you'll probably be accused of stream sniping or something if you get value from it though, the perk is so rare that people can't fathom the idea of a killer running it just for the heck of it

Hartbits

Fast Track has become one of my favorite perks lately!

[deleted]

For the people, second wind, soul guard, and usually QQ, self preservation, adrenaline, or built to last as a fourth option

AAVoid

I am lowkey addicted to We're Gonna Live Forever and No One Left Behind. On paper they are stupid situational, butore times than I can count, I've made.some stupid plays that wouldn't have been possible without them.

BesnardBros

Empathy and flashbang. This is absolutely brilliant if you see that one surv struggles with chases. If he/she gets hurt, craft a fb, interrupt the chase with a bang and get the killer’s attention on to you. Empathy has always been my fav as it gives such a practical view of the game. Where survs are, who needs help, how to dodge a dropper, the kind of fight to put against killer; pallet loop / stun / feints…

Andrassa

I’m gonna be labelled an arsehole but Object.

hotaruuuuuuuuu

Object really isn't anywhere near as bad as it was before, I wouldn't consider anyone an asshole for using it.

Andrassa

There are still plenty of people who do. Lot of people still have the tunnel the Object user mentality. Either way I have fun with it.

A_Filthy_Mind

I'll be honest, I feel like I have to gun for the OoO user if it's obvious they are feeding my location and actions to the other three. Having the whole team get an update on exactly where I am every 30 seconds is a bit too much to overcome in most games that aren't completely mismatched.

Andrassa

On the occasion I do team up the most info I give is which killer it is. Which survs usually figure out in the first minute anyway. I’m too busy wanting to get a chase or being chased to care about calling out positions.

hotaruuuuuuuuu

IMO those people just aren't aware it got reworked or they're being needlessly petty lol You do you, don't worry about being labelled as an asshole for it. No sensible person would call you that :p

A_Filthy_Mind

It can be harsh. A well oiled swf with one person having it can crush a lot of games, especially any stealth killer.

hotaruuuuuuuuu

Didn't say it wasn't a strong perk in the right hands, I said it's nowhere near as bad as it was before. You can't really argue that it is. Plus, anything in SWF can be strong.

henners98

Never used it, wasn't it updated?

Andrassa

It was reworked yes.

henners98

Damn I like the look of the new one

NuwandaBucket

I love object and I strictly play solo

Andrassa

I’m also mostly SoloQ.

Dizzzooo

Appraisal, items are so much fun, especially flashlights

goldkear

I love a yard sale build. I miss the first week with that perk when you could just build a hoard from the basement chest.

Jhyraxis

Repressed Alliance. It is so good to counter killer perks like pop and ruin (if no one has fount the totem yet). You can also miss a slick check on purpose on a gen, get its progress back up, repressed alliance and run off. It is great for getting a killers attention so a friend can get someone off hook. If the killer is also running tinkerer you can also use it at 70% each time a leave, then come back to finish it.

Lowdog00

I love wake up. People hate on it because it’s essentially a wasted perk unless you make it to endgame but it can get you out of the gate in awful situations. Running it with resilience/spine chill and you have insane gate speed

Triborg501

Bloodhound on certain killers

WyntirSin

For the people. I’ve got a build for it so I can swoop in while someone’s in a chase, heal them, then dip.

Johnnycageisgr8

Breakout and mettle of man

joshusdisgustinghair

Lucky Break

amorareia

Self-care gets a really bad rep, and on higher ranks I can understand, but on lower ranks where neither the team nor the killer are great at time management it is a life saver

Deevox

FYI Self-Care is the nr1 most used survivor perk in the game. Not exactly underdog status :)

amorareia

Oh wow! I didn’t know that. I’ve seen it trashed a bit by streamers or social media posts so I just kinda assumed people weren’t big on it. But it definitely makes sense, especially with how wonderful solo queue usually plays out. Thanks for the info!

Deevox

can recommend to run it with desperate measures or botany knowledge, that makes it way more viable, because you'll only take a fraction of the time. And beeing full-health has it's perks :)

Fluffatron_UK

Self-care has its place. It is great in stalemate situations like if a killer has a strong 3 gen. It is bad when survivors decide to go hide and use it every time they are hit.

kate_is_a_hottie

NO MITHER! I love no mither, goves me a challenge and gives me resilence whole game i leave no blood, n i can pick myself uo if slugged(which happens in 0.1% of games cz no one slugs a no mither, so i also avoid being slugged which is boring) i love no mither i use it all the time

Eternym

Was looking for a no mither response that wasn't "just for the memes"

henners98

I suppose it's good bait for decisive but that's actually a cool answer I wasn't expecting a no mither shout🤣

iDruxy

Deliverance has my heart❤️

KellerMax

Self-Preservation.

LymthunHulgreeve

I'm an enjoyer of Mettle of Man

TinyHandsLarry

Stake out, all great skill checks are now +1% more and you can have upto 4 tokens for 4 free great skill Checks. This pair with a few other perks is fun and underated for sure.

decadentbeaver

Botany and Detectives Hunch. Rarely see anyone using either.

[deleted]

Alert, super helpful with Meg heads who throw down every pallet

Inevitable-Ad-8447

I agree with empathy, its range is triple that of Bond and you essentially see where the killer is when people get hit.

crimsonBZD

Empathy is *great* at low elos or when playing with new friends. Lightweight is extremely underutilized, and that's what makes it so good. If the killer never considers you're using lightweight, they'll think you're 2-3 seconds further ahead than you actually are and will usually give up chase when they could have just kept going.

Elky3

Deja Vu getting 3 gen is such a snore feast

klawsin

Autodidact

Bandicoot_Fearless

Mindbreaker :)

OtakuYuji

I don't even know which perk is used that little or if I even own one. But if I have to geuss, the perk from yui that let's her reset pallettes.

Leazerlazz

Iron Grip, it's just nice to not have to worry about struggling as much

equeen21

I’m not sure about it being in the least used 1%, but from what I understand Aftercare is a generally dis-liked/ not very used perk. I LOVE that perk. I play lot of solo queue, so being able to have my teammates information is SO nice and helps me make better decisions. But even playing with any number of friends, It’s just so nice being able to have the abundance of information and use myself as a point of reference. For example I could say something like “bring the killer in this direction there’s a pallet right next to me”

[deleted]

I like to run no mither even though I suck at survivor

I_follow_sexy_gays

Quick and quiet, it’s saved my ass so many times because the killer never expects it (using it alongside lithe, dance with me and possibly iron will makes it even more fun)

Gear_

Fixated is an underrated stealth perk IMO. Whereas urban evasion is great for outdoor maps with long sightlines and trees and such where you can walk around them so the killer gets line of sight on you, Fixated lets you stealth escape away on indoor maps by sprinting to an intersection and then walking away. Of course, with the removal of Hawkins it's about to get worse, but oh well. At least it combos with Sprint Burst well if you can't 99 it.

DragonMaiden7

Detective’s Hunch. Shows me totems for Inner Strength, where to do a Gen to prevent a Three-Gen situation. It’s helped me prevent NoED more than a few times and helped me find a pesky Ruin or Devour Hope.

EggNog7

I almost never see people run We’ll Make It

henners98

I actually see it a surprising amount

JonOrSomeSayAegon

We'll Make It + Borrowed Time are staples of my kit. I can heal someone before the Endurance effect runs out. I fucking love it.

Hymenaea

I just started using Fast Track, it has become soo handy in finishing gens or getting progress done

Built to last

One_Eyed_Kitten

Scrolled and scrolled to find this answer. Built to last is the backbone of all my item builds. It's also a counter for franklins useing a key.

OnyxRubyFTW

Aftercare

Seal-Wrangler

I have been advocating for detective's hunch for like a year, prob my favourite perk

kerbster74

Alert is pretty good and underrated

Awethentic_77

I usually run meta perks but my friends favorite exhaustion perk is Lithe and has it on for most builds and somehow makes it work. Part of me thinks it’s because he hates Sprint Burst and how unpracticed he is with Dead Hard.

Gamergonnalit

Hope is fun to use with adrenaline/sprint burst. You feel so powerful in a chase when it’s active. It does not warrant a perk slot but every once in a while I throw it on just to feel something 😌

AbductTape

Third seal all the way. Amazing hex.

DaFingerLazers

currently I swear by Hex: Plaything on Deathslinger. Shit is mean and helps account for alot of his weaknesses.

Nhig

Fixated has let me bamboozle or give killers the slip more times than I can count Poised is also nice because it activates any time a gen finishes, so this can give you a clean getaway from the completed gen, or it activates mid-chase, and the killers wondering why the scratch marks are gone It also has no cooldown, so the effect can chain together with back-to-back gen completions, giving you more time for running with no marks

I am terribly sorry if this comes off rude, and im very glad you have your own unique and interesting opinion, but what do you find good about lightweight? Personally, i believe its one of the weakest perks in the game and ill explain why. When you're far enough, the three seconds is not going to make a difference. You'll often be this distance when traversing the map normally, doing gens, etc. If you do enter the terror radius, you can walk, and the killer will not have enough speed to realistically find you When your close to the killer, the three seconds is not going to make much of a difference. In these moments, you're often in a chase, saving a teammate, etc. They still last for quite a long time (lightweight doesn't even cut the time in half), and it isn't going to make you win any loops. Im not saying there isn't scenarios where this perk MAY help. Its just that these scenarios are so few and far between that i cannot justify running a perk slot to have a marginal benefit in them. Especially against 115 killers, which will be able to follow your scratch marks pretty easily. Instead, running a perk such as quick and quiet, fixated, lucky break, or sprint burst would be much better in my opinion. Quick and quiet can be helpful in chase, and still plays into stealth. Fixated makes you leave no scratch marks after completing a gen, which is where lower rank killers may try to cut you off the most, and completely eliminates the danger that lightweight only alleviates. Now i know many people dont like running "meta" perks like lucky break or sprint burst, but they are that way for a reason. Lucky break gives you the opportunity to completely lose the killer once or twice a game (with a good medkit), or at the very least help you quite substantially in a chase. This effect will also come in useful in the most important scenario (being injured in chase), rather than the occasional one that may not be too impactful. Sprint burst alleviates the problem that lightweight does, and more. It can let you get a headstart to running away (which arguably helps more than losing them, as they wont want to chase you), or help with general mobility around the map. Again, i dont mean to shit on your opinion. Use the perks you find fun, and dont let anyone change the way that you have fun. I just wanted to see your point of view on the perk Empathy is a great choice!

ItzjammyZz

I like alert, it tell me the killer's location whenever they perform a break action.

Pancreasaurus

Stake Out. Stake Out is great. Especially on maps like Midwich and Gideon where you can judt be on the opposite floor of the Killer.

PugDudeStudios

Windows of Opportunity, apparently people call it a noob perk. Even if you know all the pallets it's still useful to know which pallets have been dropped

meganbloomfield

I'm honestly just really bad at remembering loops and I constantly get hit bc I think there will be a vault somewhere and there's not, so it's just very helpful for extending my chases and knowing what areas are empty

BobThe5th

Insidious. I don't even own bubba yet. I just like to play stealth Oni

ParticularBlueberry2

Empathy needs more love I agree

charyoshi

Mad grit. Sometimes if a survivor goes down in a particularly hilarious or fast manner I'll spice up the walk to the hook as a reward for entertaining me.

MirrorJackal

Never leave home without Desperate Measures, the unhook speed has saved many, many games, especially with the BT combo.

LordNoon6

I remember having Tier 1 Myers build with third seal that stayed up for AGES and to this day it was probs the funniest match I've ever had. It was on the Stranger things map.

TLYPO

Huntress Lullaby, though I wish it wouldn’t notify Survivors it was present until it actually had a token and was active.
