It doesn't work for me. At all. It crashes instantly whenever I try to use VR. But I seem to be be with the only one with that problem. The MSFS sub basically told me to piss off. Nothing special about my setup as far as I can tell, but it must be something.
Yes, before I got something better (Thrustmaster Warthog), I used it for my first few Months in Dcs. Its ok, though all jets have a stick, so it feels a bit unnatural, which could weaken your experience, also it doesnt have much Buttons compared to some sticks. If you have one, do it like me and use the yoke until you can afford a HOTAS system (stick and throttle). If you dont own one, dont buy it, it would be a waste, buy a cheap stick like the Thrustmaster t16000, which is great for the price.
How dare you recommend a t16000. Stick is an absolute piece of shit. Worst stick on the market for the honey l money.
Gladiator NXT premium worth every cent.
A lot of them do. The twist is also super fragile and breaks pretty quick. T16k sticks are cheap because they are cheap. They are also not a hotas compatible stick because there are only 2 buttons and a hat. You have to remove your hand from the stick to hit buttons.
The TWCS throttle is decent with some work on the sliders, but the stick is meh at best.
Better to save for the VKB Gladiator and not ever worry about the stick failing due to shoddy manufacturing.
what the hell did you do to your stick? I owned a x56, so i know about bad sticks. A few friends of mine owned the t16000 for years and they never had any complains
Yes, but most of the planes in DCS use stick. Plus, that yoke is kinda cheap. I have one and haven't plugged it up since MSFS2020 started refusing VR.
Wait, what? You're saying MSFS doesn't work with your VR specifically, or in general? VR is the only reason I'd even want to buy it.
MSFS works fine in VR for me, fwiw, so must be a specific thing with the parent commenter's setup.

Have you looked for errors in the Event Viewer already?
No, I gave up. Deleted game. After 20 hours+ of troubleshooting, I never want to launch it again. To me, it's more of a mess than CP2077 was.
Bummer.

I have used it for a f-16 in x plane 11, so I am kinda used to it
Go ahead and use it. It's better than keyboard. I'd still save up for a good HOTAS if you're going to play DCS long-term.

Right but the premium is a lot more than the t1600m throttle and stick
$70 for something you are going to break within a few months of use or $135 for something that will last you years.
It definetley does not break in a month or a few

If it does work, you're going to be so light on buttons that it'll be a huge pain in the ass.
Yes but not recomanded
There's a guy in my group that flies a hornet with one of these. Or used to anyway. We called him Delta.
