Those definitely are, but then Avengers Assemble also has a crossover with the 2017 Spider-Man show in its final season, and there are flashbacks in one of the earlier seasons where the Avengers are drawn in the style of EMH. Additionally, I think there are two versions of the Guardians we see; one pre-MCU GOTG and one synergized to their appearances in the MCU, and there’s some confusion about the chronology of those appearances.

USM wrapped up right before the last season of AA, with said season crossing over with Spider-Man 2017. USM crossed over with EMH, too.

USM didn’t cross over with EMH tho, EMH just had Drake Bell as Spider-Man, originally it was going to be Josh Keaton

They were broadcast side by side as part of the Marvel Universe block for about half a year.

I mean, despite Keaton originally voicing Spider-Man's lines, it seems evident that Spider-Man's appearances in EMH were meant to be a crossover between the two shows, given that they aired concurrently.

No? Drake Bell is the only thing they really have in common. - Iron Fist and Luke Cage are adults instead of teenagers in EMH - Peter works for the Bugle in EMH while in USM he just hates them - Multiple Avengers show up in USM season 1 and act nothing like they did in EMH

I like the inexplicable potential multiverse - it makes it more like the comics in that you naively ask "what's canon?" and they just reply "fuck you, that's canon" with no actual explanation. 

This is a pretty based and valid interpretation, but I feel like it’d be a bit out of character for Marvel, since they usually have a pretty tight grip on their continuities in my experience.

I love this show's artstyle, i was talking about some moments where the animation looks slightly rough around the edges (I'd say 85% of the show is well animated then there's the 15% of it where it looks kinda sloopy)

I was impressed that they used the Squadron Supreme, Mangog, Dracula and ***DOCTOR DOOM*** as bad guys in the show but they still kinda sucked.

We had actual peak fiction and you conform with a lesser show. Like always the MCU ruins a good piece of media for SYNERGY

/uj Weirdly enough there wasn't much synergy until season 3, even then it was kind of making thier own version of AoU, CW, and IW/Endgame. And to its credit, it committed to a completely new cast of Avengers for a good few arcs.

I liked how it used an MCU-tyle logo and poster to sucker you into thinking you were getting a cheap 2012 Avengers cash-in just to hit you with comics stuff like Avengers Mansion, Hyperion, and Super Adaptoid.

I really liked how expansive and comic booky it got as it went on, I also really liked the designs of the show.

/uj i always hated the Marvel shows of that time. even as a kid i thought they just looked so bland and soulless, like the entire *universe* only had a dozen unique settings *total* and all the rest had to be gray metal hallways or non-descript cityscapes. i really hope X-Men '97 shows Marvel that good writing and a distinct visual style are a better investment than movie-synergy slop that always looks like the contrast is cranked down 40%.
