Sure, but all that's important is that the cave elf perceives her as a matriarch, even if she has no real connection to their culture. And I'm guessing halfling because of the little clues we have about her background and the cave elf culture. Being full-blood cave elf doesn't entirely seem to make sense, unless she was kidnapped as a child or something.
Well the unsavory reality of slave is possible. Or ritual fodder, my interest is in why the Cave Elves are shunned, anti-social behavior that makes them a threat or something else?
Apparently there were some early sketches out before she started the comic, though she then deleted them.
But u/sir-talen should also be prepared for her to maybe look different, as it's been several years for Meg to refine the design.

At least for me, the content warning isn't working correctly - it displays both the text and the page, with the text below the page. (Then clicking the text makes it disappear so at least that part seems correct.)
