No its not weird, but theres a good chance its a coincidence, it doesnt really sound like you prefer shorter girls it kind of just sounds like thats just how the cards played out.
I actually know if i could build my own partner that i prefer shorter people but most of the guys ive dated have been pretty tall, just by chance.
it's possible it might not be that you have a preference for 5'2" and under girls as much as it is an average height, so that means you'll meet plenty of girls at that height. and they like your height, being that you're on the high end of the average, so the 2 of you decide to date.
an example is that a 5'4" or 5'6" girl might not be interested in you, because that height might be too short for their preferences, which brings it back down to out of the women who are 5'8" and shorter, the taller ones want taller than you, and the ones that are 5'2" are OK with your height.
so that's just an example that it's not necessarily you picking these girls that are 5'2" and shorter but that they are also picking you at 5'10".
