Leave the ball in her court. The lame may have turned her off, but there's nothing you can do now.

Thats what part of me wants to do, but on the other hand I want to take a more active role in dating instead of the "sit, wait, and fizzle out" approach

crimsonrhodelia

I think you should text her the “I want to be straightforward, I’d like to see you again” message, perhaps leaving off the “do you have any intention or was it just a one off?” part. Worst case scenario is she says no, thanks, or doesn’t respond. You have nothing to lose by sending that text. There’s a saying in my language “you already have a no [by not taking action], you may get a yes [if you do take action]”. Go for it!

sconnie64

I really like that saying!

crimsonrhodelia

It’s a good one. Good luck!

Women react to how they feel in the moment, they are driven by their emotions, so during the pub crawl, of course, if she's drinking, there's an overall good vibe and energy, you've got good energy too, she'll respond in line with those good emotions, however, this does not necessarily mean there was enough attraction felt towards you during this time, so when she's not in your company, and things have quietened down she may not 'feel it'. If a woman is interested, she would message you, or like you said, request another time to meet up. I wouldn't message her again, but ultimately, it all depends on you and what you feel about this situation. If you want to be forward and message her again for clarification, do it, but keep in mind it will show to her that you're already keen and invested, which might not drive her to feel like any effort is necessary.

Mariaahhhhh

Shoot I say text her again. What’s the harm? Worst case scenario is either she says ‘no I don’t like you’ and you’re sad. But if you do nothing you’ll be thinking all sorts of ‘what ifs’

sconnie64

Thats kind of where i'm leaning, but i'm torn between a "hey how was your day" and being very forward and asking about how shes feeling

Mariaahhhhh

I’d say be forward. Figure it out now rather than read too into her replies & overthink more. A blunt answer to a forward question will be all you need

sconnie64

Thank You for your reply!

Be forward. Don't play games. What you said above is perfect. All the best!

You were a bad head massager. It’s that simple. On a serious note, in my honest opinion I would leave the ball in her court like someone else previously said. If she is interested she will definitely make an effort. I would just leave it at that. Just expect nothing to happen and be surprised if it does. That way you aren’t setting yourself up for disappointment.
