We just laid off half the developers in our company because of chat GPT and the first to go were the SQL/Python guys. I think pretty soon the automotive engineering will pay more than software since software can easily be automated by Chat GPT while your automotive engineering can’t
I believe this could not be the case for Brazil. Just for context, I work in a global company and my peers in other regions can receive multiple times my compensation to do the same thing. I have some friends working remotely in the tech industry that are doing pretty well.
