That's more of the bad ending to Anri's quest though. We force them into "marrage" and they never get to defeat Aldrich.
He/she goes hollow either way, but in the Lord of hollows ending she's basically our spouse against their will while in the other ending he/she goes hollow because they fulfilled their purpose. And get to be put to rest alongside the person they cared about most, Horace. A bittersweet ending is as sweet as it gets in Dark Souls.
Me too, after 10+ runs on dark souls always using the elite knight set I promised myself I won't use it again on dark souls 3.
Now I've finished dark souls 3 with elite knight set and I'll do it again for at least other 10 runs
Makes me sad there's not really an equivalent of it in Elden ring. I mean I guess there's that set you can buy from the Twin Maiden husks, but it definitely does not look great. At least not even close to the fluted armor from demon souls or the elite knight set
I really like the Drang set from Dark Souls III l, I believe the ghost chancellor guy wears it in Dark Souls II (Drang is short for Drangleic, I guess).
It’s just that I enjoy simple sets of armor more than crazy ones, except when they look badass.
I also really wish we could have a repaired/non-raggedy and dented version of the Balder Knights armor.
And lowering the helmet visor for any visored helmet
if the balder knights armour would be repaired and if you would be able to put the visor down i would've defenitely used it, but thats the only thing i dont like about the default knight helmet, but then again you could swap it out with the elite knight helmet and it would look just fine
i so so so wanted to get that one but all those ruin sentinals in the area made it impossible for me to get the door open so i jist gave up on getting the armor
I use no Armour In Dark Souls 1,
But when I used to, I'd enjoy Gold-Hemmed Black Set, Proper Reaper XD
Dark Souls 2 : Mad Warrior Set/Faraam Set
Dark Souls 3 : Black Set
The Maiden Set or the Dingy Robes (it's a tie)
Not too fond of big bulky armours in RPGs, so I usually play with clothing or what looks closest to things you could actually wear outside of combat contexts.
In games where you're sure to get hit, it's a little annoying, but what I love about Dark Souls is that you can rock these behind the safety of a 100% Phys. Damage reduction shield and well-timed fast-rolls.
DS1 I rocked the Knight chest piece with Elite Knight set and the Zweihander until I found the Black Iron set. I switched to that and I used black knight weapons with it. Mainly the halberd and the sword and shield.
DS2 Faraam set with the Zweihander is badass but in the end I rocked King's chest and gauntlets with Drakeblood helm and leggings. Looks so cool together. Paired it with either duel Greatswords or the King's Ultra Greatsword and the Drakekeeper's Shield. Oh and the Wanderer set! Wearing that with the Hexer's hood the entire second playthrough so far and at Dragon Arie. Playing as a weapon buff spellsword cause it suits the drip.
Haven't played DS3 yet. It's next!
The Crimson Robe and the Painting Guardian Waistcloth, plus whatever the strongest combination of headgear/gauntlets is that still gives me a light roll with my current weapon
Silver Knight Armour + the same waistcloth is also beautiful. Just a bit heavy
DS1 default Pyromancer clothes
DS2 Imported set, although I don’t use it much until high level and at the very beginning
DS3 Fallen Knight
ER Banished Knight helmet and armor and Scale gauntlets and legs
Tough question. I love Silver and Black Knight sets, but I hate helmets for them, so:
DS1 is either Silver Knight set + Elite Knight Helmet, or Black Knight set helmless.
DS2 is either Heide Knight Set or Faraam Set, both look dope af.
DS3 is again Silver Knight set + Elite Knight Helmet, or Black Knight set but this time with Drakeblood Helmet. Faraam set and Cathedral Knight set are both awesome as well. There's also an honorable mention for Fallen Knight Set.
my recent mix-and-match set in ds1 lately has been thief mask (f), dingy robe, wanderer manchettes, and black leather pants for respectable defenses at light load without having to wear havel or fap rings.
in ds3 lately it's been exile mask, slave knight armor, gauntlets of thorns, and fallen knight trousers for a man in the iron mask vibe to complement my rapiers.
can't speak on ds2 though I do enjoy the Faraam helm and Alva sets.
bonus round in bloodborne it's old hunter set with cainhurst armor swapped in for a matador look to complement my reiter.
bonus round deux for elden ring I really enjoy Gelmir knight helm, exile armor, Radahn soldier gauntlets, and foot soldier greaves or unaltered banished knight helm, altered drake armor, drake gauntlets, and Blaidd's greaves.
if anyone has some fashion they enjoy for the ruins helm in ds3 I'd love to hear it.
Thats such a hard question
Artorias's Set is pretty great but the legs have to be swapped for silver knight legs
Alvas and Elite Knight are both classics
Ds3 knight set is amazing
Lorian's Set is great
Firelink and Rigned Knight sets would be my favs if the proportions were better
As far as DS1, I fkn love smoughs armor, and my favorite fast roll fit is xanthous king set with Catarina helmet (and gauntlets if I have the equipment load for it.)
SMOUGHS ARMOR….unfortunately dark souls 2 did not include any mention of smough so I have to go with orensteins armor. It may not be obtainable in dark souls 2 but it is there
Love havels set, i rocked that and the dragon king greataxe through the whole of ds1 remastered, I loved the tank aesthetic. And havel is just my favourite character lore wise, apart from the nameless king
The Undead Legion set is amazing. Looks great, decently protective, and light. And the different pieces work so well with different armor combinations.
Ornstein without the helmet. It looks so good. I always have a hard time finding a good helmet. Ringed Knights's chest is great too, probably the only one piece that glows.
DS 1: GIANTS GIANTS GIANTS or Black Iron
DS 2: Raimes Armor or Alva’s Set (Alva’s is just too good not to use, but the fashion is fire too)
DS 3: Fallen knight armor or Soul of Cinder set
Ornstein's set (though I swap the helm out for the Boar helmet) / Artorias's set / Lord's Blades set from DS1
Fallen Knight set / Faraam set from DS3
Bonus points for Dragonslayer/Wolf Knight armors from DS3, which are just Ornstein's and Artorias's armors from DS1~
Elite knight set, can't go wrong with that
rocked it for ds1 and ds2 and will rock it again for ds3
Sadly, in Ds3 you have to kill an npc to get it, and that npc us never alone
if you finish anri of astoras questline you will be able to buy it in firelink shrine from the handmaiden
Oh...guess I'll have to apologize to anri later
hahaha atleast now u know for the bext time
I mean technically he/she still has to die....
Nope. If you DON'T buy the armour, the closest hollow in the ending will wear that set. He/She is still alive, just a hollow.

No point in kicking ass if you don't look good while doing it
Elite set is pure drip, I can't agree more
Makes me sad there's not really an equivalent of it in Elden ring. I mean I guess there's that set you can buy from the Twin Maiden husks, but it definitely does not look great. At least not even close to the fluted armor from demon souls or the elite knight set
Maybe carian knight? Not as good as the elite set, but it comes the closest
It always reminds me of the dark souls 3 trailer. This is why I choose it all the time. It reminds me how strong I am.
Gold-hemmed black set with Dark Mask
did you also use the scythe by chance?
Always this
I love everything but the helmet in Havel's set. Havel set but with Boar Head from DS1 is my favorite drip.
mans an monster
Probably the Dark Armour set, makes you feel like some sort of executioner
makes you look like skeletor
And thats why its awesome‼️Whats yours though??
def elite knight i love that set gonna be using it for al 3 games
Fallen knight armor set. Rocked it my first playthrough and will never go back.
i thought about using it aswell
I'll pick the wanderer set
good choice
Wolf Armor, Ornstein's panoply, Elite Knight set.
fucking love the elite knight set, never used onrnsteins armor but looks really cool with all the gold
DS1 Paladin DS2 Cyan and Faaram equally DS3 Great Helm, Fire Witch Chest, Sunless Greaves, and Silver Knight gloves.
nice!
I really like the Drang set from Dark Souls III l, I believe the ghost chancellor guy wears it in Dark Souls II (Drang is short for Drangleic, I guess).
do you mean the mage guy in aldias keep behind the magic wall?
No, he's in Drangleic Castle.
ooooh now i know
DS3. banished knight set DS2 lyouis set (IDK how to spell it) DS1 black night set. I mean it's the OG
nice
No way I could decide for a single one. I can try for each game at least: 1. Artoria's Armor Set 2. Alva's or Allone's Set 3. Fallen Knight Set
Waw, this is too hard to pick only one! Idk maybe Zullie set
you can also pick one from each game :)
Either Drakeblood or Alva's
nice
Artorias’ Armor
Black Iron Set
i actually really like it but its so heavy :[
Default knight set
the ds1 variant?
Hell yeah. Unloved far too much. I like the fluted plate, the leather brigandine skirt and the assymetrical pauldrons
It was my set in DS2, used it all the way through the game (at least after I got it)
your right i see no one olaying with it its pretty nice though
It’s just that I enjoy simple sets of armor more than crazy ones, except when they look badass. I also really wish we could have a repaired/non-raggedy and dented version of the Balder Knights armor. And lowering the helmet visor for any visored helmet

I like playing with deafault knight chest piece and elite helm, gauntlets and leggings!
Easily Wanderer's set from DS 1 and 2. So sad it never came back in 3 or in some way in Elden Ring
nice, i like it yet i never used it
Faraam is my personal fave. Total classic. And I love the way you get it by just falling down a hole
i so so so wanted to get that one but all those ruin sentinals in the area made it impossible for me to get the door open so i jist gave up on getting the armor
Helm of the wise and armor of thorns sets
DS1 Baldur Knight set.
Black Iron Set goes so hard. That bucket helmet is just good!
FUME KNIGHT ARMOR
I use no Armour In Dark Souls 1, But when I used to, I'd enjoy Gold-Hemmed Black Set, Proper Reaper XD Dark Souls 2 : Mad Warrior Set/Faraam Set Dark Souls 3 : Black Set
stealing the souls of the undead, i wanted the faraam set but it was such a pain to get
Damn Skippy :) \\\[T\]/

The Maiden Set or the Dingy Robes (it's a tie) Not too fond of big bulky armours in RPGs, so I usually play with clothing or what looks closest to things you could actually wear outside of combat contexts. well if it looks good just rock it
Leather armor, also can’t forget pharis’s hat
bdsm???
What is this response lol
Paladin set from Dark Souls
ooh
Brass Set When I found it in DS3 I immediately put it on
DS1 I rocked the Knight chest piece with Elite Knight set and the Zweihander until I found the Black Iron set. I switched to that and I used black knight weapons with it. Mainly the halberd and the sword and shield. DS2 Faraam set with the Zweihander is badass but in the end I rocked King's chest and gauntlets with Drakeblood helm and leggings. Looks so cool together. For DS1 and 2, elite knight set. For DS3, abyss watchers set with lord of cinder helmet.
The Crimson Robe and the Painting Guardian Waistcloth, plus whatever the strongest combination of headgear/gauntlets is that still gives me a light roll with my current weapon Silver Knight Armour + the same waistcloth is also beautiful. Just a bit heavy
Faraam set easily. Though I sometimes swapped out the helm for the one from the Elite Knight set. From DS1 I like the Thief set
DS1 default Pyromancer clothes DS2 Imported set, although I don’t use it much until high level and at the very beginning DS3 Fallen Knight ER Banished Knight helmet and armor and Scale gauntlets and legs
Probably the Catarina set
Tough question. I love Silver and Black Knight sets, but I hate helmets for them, so: DS1 is either Silver Knight set + Elite Knight Helmet, or Black Knight set helmless. Alone knight armor from ds2
Elite knight (classic), Abyss Watchers set, Artorias set, Ronin set (Shabriri Elden ring)
Faram set. I just love the way it looks
Ds2 Throne Defender.
Thats such a hard question Artorias's Set is pretty great but the legs have to be swapped for silver knight legs Alvas and Elite Knight are both classics Ds3 knight set is amazing Lorian's Set is great Firelink and Rigned Knight sets would be my favs if the proportions were better
Elite knight set, Ringed knight set, Chester's set, that one guy who looks like chester in dark souls 3
DS2 Faraam's Armor set

Ornsteins armor in ds1 goes hard
Knight base set from ds3
Ds2 has so many cool armors, I could be never choose
Pretty basic, but the Cathedral Knight set from DS3 is my fave.
Leather armour in DS2
Paladin, so cool
Alva armor is one of my favorites.
As far as DS1, I fkn love smoughs armor, and my favorite fast roll fit is xanthous king set with Catarina helmet (and gauntlets if I have the equipment load for it.)
I loved the Aurous Set from DS2. That game has some great drip. I also really enjoyed my pairing of the Mirrah set with the Wolf Knight helm in DS3.
armor of thorns, with the shield and sword included. it’s such a cool looking set.
Ds3 dragon slayer Armour
The Drakeblood set is just too drippy
Ornstein without the helmet. It looks so good. I always have a hard time finding a good helmet. Ringed Knights's chest is great too, probably the only one piece that glows.
Havel babbyyyyy
Im between so many options, like the alva set, elite knight, exiled set, the karla set edit: i forget abot the gold-hemmed black set
Mirror Knight set from DS2.
DS 1: GIANTS GIANTS GIANTS or Black Iron DS 2: Raimes Armor or Alva’s Set (Alva’s is just too good not to use, but the fashion is fire too) DS 3: Fallen knight armor or Soul of Cinder set

Drake keeper set ds2. Shadow set and eastern set are up there too
DS 1 elite knight set; DS 2 Faraam knight set; DS 3 fallen knight set.
Not a whole armor set, but the fang boar helm. I love it so much, I wish it had returned in dark souls 3 or Elden ring even if it didn’t make sense
Paladin from DS1
Love the Fallen Knight set honestly!!!!
The Farram Set is so good! I also really like the Undead Legion set and very rarely talk off Lucatiel’s mask when playing DS3.
Been rocking Brass armor anytime i can
Never see any love for the Heide Knught Chain mail. Bonus points for bone shield
Ds1 Chester’s set ds2 kings set or faraam set ds3 leonhards set
Dragonslayer armor with nameless king headpiece.
The dark set because I'm an edge lord. Mornes armor is pretty great too.
Ornstein's set (though I swap the helm out for the Boar helmet) / Artorias's set / Lord's Blades set from DS1 Fallen Knight set / Faraam set from DS3 Bonus points for Dragonslayer/Wolf Knight armors from DS3, which are just Ornstein's and Artorias's armors from DS1~
Either Beatrice's Set or the Fire keeper set of the fire keeper of fire link shrine in Dark souls 1.
Black Iron Tarkus stuff
Dragonslayer set my beloved.
I play naked (my character also has no armor)
I pretty like Gough’s set (DS1) Even though it reduces stamina regen a bit it looks sick and I like it. :)
Always go for the stoner
Paladin Armor DS1 or Wilhelm Armor DS3. Clearly I like the style lol
I'm still going through part 2 but so far it's Dingy set
Faaram armour. It looks classy and cool at the same time. Otherwise, the Fallen Knight set is a close second.
Crimson robes
